"You're not being serious." Jungkook growls, before he swings the wooden sword harder against yours; the attack effortlessly blocked by you.
After practically begging for an eternity, he'd finally been allowed basic combat training. It's unheard of; but then again, jungkook is already a lot of things no one's ever known before. With his mother being a mere human, and his father being a God, he's already a special being in itself. Technically, a human woman isn't able to carry out a God's child- but there he was, thriving and growing stronger every day. "Come on, stop blocking-!" He grits out, as you push your own wooden replica of a weapon in a skilled manner, disarming the young demigod.
"I've been tasked with basic combat training, your highness." You say to the heavily breathing jungkook. "I'd be beheaded of I ended up harming you in any way." You tell him, stepping back as he picks up his wooden weapon. He's not happy- its clear as day, not only from his look. He's still not yet in full control of his powers; the room cooling down significantly at his inner disappointment of the entire situation, making you shiver. He himself probably doesn't even notice.
"We're alone here." He scolds, and you look away from his gaze- unable to stand a confrontation like that. "For an Angel you sure love disobeying requests I give." He tells you, stepping closer to you. His presence is suffocating, not only because it's just him, hug because it's so wrong for you to feel the way you do at his proximity. "What is it about me that makes it so easy for you to go against my wishes?" He says, and you hate how his voice sounds like velvet beneath your fingertips. Soft, like nothing else, incomparable to anything else.
"I'm not going against your wishes- I'm being responsible." You say, not saying his name out of pettiness now as you turn around to put away the practice weapon, well aware that you won't be able to get anywhere at this point considering his and your mood.
"You know I told you I'd never let something happen to you!" He argues, following you. It's true; he's told you he'd protect yiu so many times already. "Do I seem so dishonest to you?" He almost whines, and it hurts to hear him like this.
"Of course not." You tell him, sighing. It's not that you don't trust him- but that he's believing in things that just won't ever be true. Even if he tried to defend you, he'd never be able to overthrow his father's word- if that man wanted to rip out your wings, he'd do it.
And he wouldn't even care if his son had to watch.
