Wilder Things

I've spent way too many years wondering what you'd say

Way too many hours wishing me away

Waiting for the day that I would finally (maybe) measure up

I've spent way too many nights dying in your walls Way too many daydreams keeping myself small

Holding out my hands to find the glitter in your dust

But Ima take a step back And not worry 'bout how they'll react The thoughts they turned into facts

Oh l'm seeing through the cracks

So I throw my hands up high and scream

"This world has seen much wilder things" I'm taking back the future they've defined

My joy is not a fantasy

I'm liberated from their strings

So love the beat they hate and dance in time

Guess l've fallen from the tree And I know what they say

Bragging from their knees

Saving all the strays

Praying for the day that I will finally cry for help Such a barricaded love

No wonder I feel shame

Infinitely nameless

Ways I am to blame

So l'd sew on my mask so I could smile as I melt

They had me Damned Why was it mystery?

Glitter covered tragedies

Everlastingly mighty

Footprints in the sand

Solid as land

My own affirm my journey

Broken glass, I took the keys Conquering these open seas

All the rumors smashed

I'm free at last

Loving my victory

What is Spiritual Warfare and how to overcome it with the help of God?

• Spiritual warfare is the idea that there's a battle going on between good and evil forces. In Christianity, this means a fight between God and His angels against the devil and his demons. It mainly happens in our minds, hearts, and spirits. It’s about resisting bad thoughts, temptations, and influences that go against what God wants for us. Though we believe that Jesus has indeed already defeated Satan by dying on the cross and coming back to life, the enemy still tries to lead us to sin in order to push us away from God, thus spiritual warfare.

• “Symptoms” vary since the devil attacks you where it hurts the most, to make you as vulnerable as possible; but here are some of the most common ones:

- believing that your not worthy of having a relationship with God or talking to God therefore feeling the need to distance yourself from him

-self destructive / sabotage / harm temptations

-paranoia / overthinking

-strong headaches / body aches

-temptations towards sin such as lust, gluttony, laziness, anger.. etc, depends on your weaknesses

-self hatred & self doubt / doubt in faithfulness

-hopelessness, fear, anxiety

-random depressive moods & replaying bad memories … the list goes on!

• Living a life more aligned with God’s will is seen as a threat to Satan and his purposes, leading to increased attempts to discourage or derail one’s faith journey. With a deeper relationship with God often comes a greater sense of purpose and mission, attracting more challenges and obstacles from evil forces trying to prevent one from fulfilling God’s plans. Our Father allows these intensified battles to refine and strengthen our faith, helping us rely more on Him and grow spiritually.

I don’t know who this will help but if you’re working for money/chasing money and you’re not satisfied…I have often noticed that those who are in service to others, volunteering, helping others for free with no expectations… money ends up flowing to them. Enough for more than survival. Do good :) Spread love. Be kind.

When you are in service to others, so many opportunities and resources come to you.

Attract. Don’t chase.

It can be uncomfortable to trust the unknown but if we think back to all the wonderful things that happened when we didn’t expect, it may be easier to trust a little more
