SO I WAS WATCHING THE LAST EPISODE OF THE OWL HOUSE AND IT ENDS WITH THEM SAYING BYEE TO US THE VIEWERS AND NOW IM SOBBING CAUSE I KNOW UNLESS GOD GRACES THE PERSON WHO CANCELED THE SHOW WITH SOME BRAINS WE WONT GET MORE OF THIS WHOLESOME SHIT AND I WANNA SCREAM LAUGH AND SOB HYSTERICALLY UNTIL MY HEART POUNDS BECAUSE OF IT
I see this as a Gusmat reunion moment lol🪞

When Belos gets hit by Luz, there’s a deeper growl that doesn’t seem to come from him. Also the room they’re in is very...fleshy

Sorry if this sounds rambly... Warning!!! Owl house spoilers for season 2 episode 18.
.... K I liked this episode and all! Good stuff happened here and it was cool to see a new coven head as well as more Hunter and Hunter somewhat dealing with trauma but it definitely felt rushed. They tried to cram a new villain, info on the Owl family stuff, Hunters healing arc, (not to mention the shipping I'm a little upset about...), Amity and Willows friendship being repaired and some background character development into 22 minutes. Amity and Willow had very minor development and I get where they were going with it but Amity felt forced an Willow talked like a bad wattpad fanfic. With Gus and Hunter, Gus's arc was slightly forced. It was a lot of information to be put into a little time frame. Hunter needed someone who could stabilize him after Last episode and while he did get some healing it wasn't good enough for him to be okay really. NOT TO MENTION THE ILLUSION OF BELOS, THE ADULTS TALKING ABOUT TRADING HIM BACK TO BELOS (this one really pissed me off), AND HIM REMEMBERING HIS WORST MEMORIES IN THIS EPISODE.
Some highlights. The animation was great!!! Love the detail of Hunter reading up on Grimwalkers. Hunter’s outfit is dorky but it's only been a day or two so like ???? The small Lumity moment at he start was great!!! Illusion coven was still a bad guy which I appreciate. They didn't try to get a huge twist in this episode which gave the Fandom a nice break before the day of Unity arc starts, and the hug Hunter Willow and Gus have. Also Blight Twins. Thought Adiran looked better when he was a scruffy illusion tho—
I did love this episode I just feel that the team behind it wasn't given enough time to really do what they set out to and I was a little let down after the last few episodes. That being said, I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT EPISOE!!!!!!!
