One thing I noticed when rewatching Red Dwarf for the 5th time, was that Lister has a pink handkerchief on his left arm and a red handkerchief on his left leg. I know on the surface that doesn’t seem like much, but hear me out. The Handkerchief code was something used by Queer people to determine their roles in seggsy time, shown by colour and wether it was placed on the right or left side of the body. If the handkerchief was on the right side, it showed the person was a bottom, and if it was on the left side of the body they were a top. Go and search what the colours mean, specifically what light pink and red mean, and you’ll never be able to look at Lister the same way again
