I have been hurt. I have been lied to. I have been called "this" and "that". Bullied. Laughed at. Had people hate me for minor mistakes. Maybe even bigger ones.

I have been forgiven. I have been cut off.

I have been half-loved. I have been hated. I have been abandoned.

Yet I'm still willing to love. Yet I still give, way too much. I give love. I give hugs. I give support. I give reassurance. I give a lot of kindness, every time I can.

MY HEART IS STILL MADE OF GOLD.

And maybe that's my biggest mistake.
