The protagonist doesn't trust someone for a whole book because they smiled weird
And finally, spoilers for what was one of the most beautiful things I've ever read (book fours climax, here there be ultra spoilers)
The eldritch horrors are brought to the side of good by the equivalent of pointing out cats exist
I wish we had more defiant and Taylor moments. There should have been more father daughter found family moments with them, I feel like the fandom doesn’t even make stuff like that. Definitely a big missed opportunity
