Hey y'all! Meet Shichi (a word of Indian origin that means "the one who glows").
She only glows when completely shrouded in darkness. At day, she looks like just another pink cat with blue markings. Shichi's deaths always involve with electricity and machines (her neon fur does shed after all and can create chemical reactions)

Meet Crystal
Personality:
A sweet and playful critter who loves invading everyone's daydreams. She is fond of speaking cryptically and only shows up to those who she thinks in need of her help. She is quiet harmless despite having mental-related powers. However, Nephelle, the spirit that controls her body at night, uses her abilities for evil...
Appearance:
Crystal is a bear around 12 years old who has a warm expression on her face and short orange hair that reaches her back. She is about 4 feet tall.
She usually wears a headband housing Nephelle on her head, a blue dress, black ribbon, white laces and no shoes. She normally has a blue eye color, but it turns to white when she is extremely angered (which is very rare) and shines bright cyan when Nephelle is in charge of her body.

Unbeknowst to Crystal, a melevolent spirit lives inside her headband known as Nephelle. Unlike Crystal who have natural inclination to magic, Nephelle relies on witchcraft. After a big mistake in her incantations, she accidentally trapped herself inside Crystal's headband instead of switching bodies. It's okay because she will fully take control of her in time. For now, she will be contented with taking control of Crystal's body at night...
In her spirit form, Nephelle appears as a bear with cyan eyes and longer hair. In her physical form, currently she shares the same body as Crystal but with shining bright cyan eyes and usually a cold expression.
Abilities:
She needs to touch her target's forehead in order to do any of this.
a) Dream Manipulation
- she could invade anyone's dreams and manipulate it to her liking
- this ranges from changing the environment to shifting it into a horrible nightmare
b) Memory Manipulation
- if one is unconscious with her nearby, she could "play" with their memories
- this ranges from adding ridiculously false memories to sealing some parts of it away
- Nephelle could use this to drain someone's memory so much they became a "base"
- accidental effect: life absorption
Also, I've seen an old drawing of mine that depicts Crystal discovering that Nephelle exists inside her headband. According to younger me in my notes, I'll make an animatic where she must fight for her own body or she'll vanish forever. Pretty neat, huh?
Relationships:
Crystal is the adoptive daughter of Top (Opposite of Pop who is known to go overboard in protecting his children) and an adoptive younger sister of Buc (Opposite of Cub, he never died once so he is extremely curious of death). Nephelle will eventually be her enemy when she discovers the truth.

Inspirations:
Appearance is heavily inspired by Alice in Wonderland
And her story is heavily based on Flower and Illuna from the text adventure game, Magium

I finally give Shichi a voice! This took so many retries since my cat keeps answering back but I still managed to finish the recording.
I originally intended to do a single doodle to feature but my hyperfixation began. The next thing I know, I have many doodles of her. Pretty neat, huh?

Shichi used to be a worker in a radioactive factory but her body starts to mutate the more she dies in there. Before she knew it, it's already too late. Her fur now glows in the dark and more likely to shed. She must avoid anything electrical or else, she will cause an explosion.
Shichi changes her job into being "a light". Miners, cave explorers and underground workers are her most common clients.

Crystal is a girl around 12 years old bear who has a warm expression on her face and short orange hair that reaches her back. She is about 4 feet tall. She usually wears a cursed headband housing an evil spirit on her head, a blue dress, black ribbon, white laces and no shoes.
She calls the crystal she summons as her "Looking Glass". The Looking Glass can view and rewrite the dreams, thoughts and memories of her target. Using the Looking Glass requires so much stamina, and therefore she must eat a lot of food. If she feels starved, Nephelle (the spirit inside her headband) will possess her and use her powers for no good.
Crystal is unaware that her headband is cursed but the critters around her are. That's why she is so confused whenever she receives free snacks and food.

Meet Omniel
Omniel's task is to gather the parts, organs and fleshes of the Happy Tree Critters to reassamble and revive them. No matter the condition of the remnants (burned, liquify, pulp), she is capable of restoring it to its original look.
She is the rival of Unreone, the dinosaur-demon. She would spread false rumors so critters would fear UnReone's arrival.

Meet Snippy ✂️
Facts about him:
At first glance, he looks very meek and mild.
He once have a long, pink tail but was cut off. In its place are two blue band-aids shaped like an x.
Has a voice like a cooing dove. His tone is the same, regardless of his emotions (be it happy, sad or mad).
Has great interests in scissors and scissor swords.
Cuts steak and meat with scissors.
Has a weird fond of cutting papers, wires furs and hairs.
Somehow, he gets along with Disco Bear.
He gets annoyed when things are too tidy.
He often leaves a trail paper bits at places which he stays for more than one minute.
Petunia dislikes and afraid of him at the same time.
He shakes his legs when sitting.
Frequently gives the vaguest possible answer to questions.
Often taunts enemies, regardless of the situation or how dangerous the enemy is. This trait always make any situation worse.
May have killed someone out of curiosity of how sharp his new scissor is.
Never seen screaming. When in pain, his voice devolves into silent, whistling howl.
it is highly unlikely that i'll properly celebrate on dec 20 considering that's the exact date where most of the projects and presentations must be passed and done lol

I finally made a reference sheet for UnReone!
Which is weird considering that she is my first oc ack
This is the content of the first 1/3 of the reference sheet: the left side stands UnReone drawn in my usual style. Beside her is herself in Happy Tree Friends style, baring multiple sharp teeth.
For the next two third, it is these: a front view and a back view of UnReone with her snakes Taffy and Honey attached on her head. At the upper right corner is her human version. At the lower right portion is a doodle of her disgusted face while saying "ew", almost seemingly in response of what is above her...
This is the last third of the reference sheet: Unreone is happily petting her snakes Taffy and Honey. Next to this is a floating head of hers looking up while sticking her tongue and baring a goofy grin. At the bottom left corner is Unreone in Rubber hose style, which is a nudge to the fact that she used to star in an old cartoon show that becomes a lost media. At the bottom right corner is her angrily pointing at an unseen critter.

That's why she got a shop full of romantic items and a love clinic for blind dates and matchmaking. In the circus, she does tarot reading in her tent stand and interprets the fate of her friends.
Similar characters/Inspirations: Lola Bunny (In the Looney Tunes show itteration), Pucca, Ebichu, Irving (Phineas and Ferb), Rosie (Thomas and Friends), Sierra (Total Drama Island), Amy (Sonic series)
Underlying issues: This behavior is similar to erotomania, which is a resolute and delusional belief by someone that another person is in love with them. Her try hard demeanor of showing affection could be problematic if applied in real life, regardless if the "target" acknowledges her or see the attention unwelcome.
Gags: Wears accesories/costumes similar to her "target" (may or may may not be the designer behind the Splendid cosplay worn by Toothy that haloween ep) ; Her gifts always cause direct harm to the receiver in one way or another ; says "Love ya too!" loudly ; love letters and tarot cards keeps switching usage might be misinterpreted as threat
Endings: At the end of every ep where she survives, it is shown that she is infatuated with another critter and switch targets ; On the other hand, is she dies, it's because of the action of her target, could be intentional or circumstantial
Common Deaths: Exploded (lol heart exploded for too much excitement), Crushed (ahaha get it?), Shocked (happens around DB and Handy), Suffocated (Ya really took my breath away), Sliced (either by her tarot cards or love letters)

Meta plan: Mostly a visual background character. Barely a featuring character. She's to be used as part of the fangirls of anyone that is needed to be fangirl for.

You are falling from the top of the highest building? The bucket of water will soften your fall!
Often mistaken for a girl because of the long lashes and eye pattern. He does not mind though. Mostly because his mind is on the bucket of water.

Meet Wispy
》 Wispy is an ewe, originally a Lammy recolor, she works at the circus as an illusionist. Her specialty is making it seems like she is multiplying, but in reality, she's just great at activating buttons and floor panels without anyone noticing. (Those other Wispy are actually just fluffy dummies!)
Meet Sketchy
》 Sketchy is a lemur bares an inklike fur color and a really well attitude. Always seen sketching or drawing. Usually, the sketchpad is used as their means of communication. They are usually ignored since what they draw is too vague and the meaning of symbolism is just totally loss on them. Sometimes, instead of this communicative doodles, it contains an accurate prediction of someone's death or the scene that the episode will end on. Although they are seemingly friendly and willing to establish eye contact, they never talk. Their deaths are suspiciously always offscreen.
((pretty sure i was just addicted to listening at madagascars 'i like to move it move it' when creating this character when i was a kid hahaa

Meet Rusty
》 Rusty the wolf, he is a mechanic and have a passion for tinkering. Fixing and creating mechanical stuffs make him fulfilled.
His first and only appearance is in my wattpad unpublished work titled "Need a Hand?" in which he, alongside Lumpy and Sniffles, tries multiple designs for the creation of appropriate prosthetic hands for Handy.
Although his red pupils make him look intimidating, don't worry about approaching him. He don't bite, he's actually quite friendly. Heavily inspired of one of my uncles who always sounds angry even if he is saying the sweetest and kindest thing
Meet Uncle Eggswyn Benedict
》 Uncle Eggy is a goat and chicken caretaker. He is good friends with Lumpy. He is very generous and often gives his neighbours trays of eggs for free. Expect many chicks and hens and roosters in his barn
Meet Dodger
》 Dodger the badger is always on the run. Reason being that he paid a hypnotist to make him excel at self-preservation. It starts out effective but soon to regret it upon realizing his body will literally never rest until it finds itself a safe place.
If he feels that death is near, his fur tufts straighten, then his feet starts moving on its own prompted by pure panic, and runs away.
Common gag is that his feet manage to outrun the thing he is running from, but the upper torso is left behind. Most likely being viciously attacked by the very threat. When there's a commotion, he is first to say "run" out loud.
In a memorable roleplay, it is tested that even asleep, he would sprint away if ever his fur tufts are raise in any way. He sucks at catching stuffs since his body automatically avoids any oncoming projectile, regardless of its incapability of harm.

Aight so there are 3 charas one must know of:
Om, a high rank Ethereal
Niel, a normal cat villager
Omniel, the combination of the two
Niel and Om are different figures
Om is an ancient narcissistic Ethereal from archaic plane and is good friends with the Ethereal that is possessing the cursed idol in my AU, hence the heartless and the power hungry behavior. Om loves the feeling of being dependent on so it uses the fact that it can revive critters to have many followers.
Niel is just a humble villager that's neckdeep into a religion that praises Om and she got no choice but be the host. Host usually dies when they reach 40s, and when they do, there's like a lottery of names and the candidates are female children of the village. That year, the lottery picked Niel, who was 12 at the time, and she was chosen to be Om's host. She is now 19 and tasked on a quest to go travel outside the village and recruit more followers.
Omniel happens when Om overpowers Niel's mind and convince her that things would be better if she let Om be in control.
(Ah yes, definitely is not like how Venom, Flowey!Sans, Bipper, Darcy, Possessed!Hunter works. This is totally unique and original--)
