I Like To Think That Jon Will See Dany's Example And Think Yeah I Can Lay Claim To Those Who Loved Me In A Way That Lasts Beyond Me' - Tumblr Posts

Such poetry! I believe these ghosts will provide a level of self-knowledge that will liberate Jon's heart and mind. He needs to know that Rhaegar engendered so much respect, the man who'd become the Kingslayer was willing to die on the Trident in service to him; because he'll never know that Ned related to Rhaegar with a similar combination of angst and a flippant, “Sorry you’re dead, bro. Much of my family’s dead, too, because of your dad. He sucked! But no hard feelings.” Neither men knew Rhaegar well, nor did they muster up enough delusions to hate him once the rumors about Lyanna became the official history. Jaime's lingering allegiance to the Crown Prince causes him crushing guilt for failing to protect his children, and potentially binds his and Jon's fates. Though Ned is dead...

It could be even sweeter to see these two characters, who love "the song of steel," eventually meet.

If you ever feel delusional and stupid, just remember that asoiaf fandom believe that Jon Snow WILL NOT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT BEING A TARGARYEN

I mean, this is just a silly thing. It's not the most IMPORTANT reveal of the series or something. It's not something that is haunting the narrative (and Ned Stark) since the very first book

Why Jon should care about his true parents? Why should he care that Ned lied to him? Why should he care that his parents died in the rebellion and Lyanna's pregnancy, his mother, was a secret? why should he care that his father was a Targaryen prince? Why should he care that his parents ran away together and died for it? Why should he care that maybe he's not a bastard?

Just silly things, Jon is busy :)

I'm so GLAD that asoiaf fans are not writing these books. And i'm so glad that GRRM give zero fucks about this fandom
