Jekyll and Hyde au where Jekyll is spiderman (and Hyde is the spidersona)

But like way more antihero than regular vigilante yk? Hyde just fucking stabs doc OC's tentacles off (I don't know many spiderman villains)

I thought ab this for less than a minute bc I was zoning out thinking about Jekyll and listening to music (a fun passtime) and the spectacular spider man theme song started playing

Edit: I thought ab it more and I'm going to yap ab an au now

So Lanyon and Jekyll, instead of bonding over being scientists, bond over loving superheroes (or perhaps being superheroes? Lanyon could be a spiderman from a different universe? Idk) or idk maybe science and superheroes

But yh Jekyll makes the thingy and becomes Hyde like normal and he decides he doesn't want to be a regular villain but he absolutely wants to beat the shit out of someone and becomes a "hero" called spiderman and makes a fake identity for Hyde.

Enfield is a fan of superheroes but thinks hyderman's methods are wrong and Utterson doesn't know a fucking thing unless he's told directly ofc so he waits by an area with loads of crime, hoping to see him in action

Eventually he does see 'spiderman' and he notices that he uses smth as a weapon that he knows belongs to Jekyll so he confronts Hyde

At first Jekyll can control when he becomes Hyde but more and more crimes happen and he starts transforming every time a supervillain does smth and he gets gradually angrier and more violent until he actually kills some villains

That's when he goes to Lanyon to help him stay normal bc it's stressing him out and he doesn't want to be spiderman anymore but Lanyon is now scared of his friend

I might say no one dies except Hyde (not Jekyll) and that after Hyde is gone Lanyon forgives Jekyll but that's just bc I want them to have a happy end lol
