Into The White Au - Tumblr Posts

New AU idea where Wiggly's brothers get pissed off with him and end up beating him up and banishing him to the White, and now (much to his dismay) he has to reconcile with Webby.

I want Wiggly being absolutely pathetic, moping about and feeling sorry for himself while Webby just stares at him and goes "Get up you fucking dumbass, you look like an idiot."

I know I joked about making an ask blog in the tags of the "Wiggly's stuck in the White" AU (which I'm officially dubbing "Into the White") post I made yesterday, but like-

Would anyone be interested in me actually making one? I feel like he'd be a fun character to rp as lol

I wrote an Into the White AU fic! :D

(AU context -> X)

(Word count: 542)

Wiggly had never liked the White all that much, even before he’d banished Webby there. The White hurt his eyes, which were so adjusted and adapted to seeing in the Black. There was nowhere to hide among the webs of time. The White made him feel way too exposed; Wiggly already knew that his skin had shifted to an incredibly pale green in an all-around pathetic natural attempt at mimicking his blinding surroundings. He just didn’t like it. He wanted to go back to the Black. He wanted to go back home.

But this was his home now...

Overpowered, overthrown, and in exile: three things which Wiggly would have never thought he’d have been able to apply to himself, and yet, three things which were now true in regards to him. His brothers had betrayed him. They’d cast him out for all of eternity, breaking the crown of coral on his head and hurting him, tearing off one of his face tentacles (not technically that big of a deal; it would grow back in a few weeks, but it was still infuriating). The fools had no idea what they were doing.

Wiggly’s colors shifted again, dark, aggressive stripes flashing dangerously down his back. He was furious. How dare they?! He was their leader! He was their brother! And now he was stuck in the White? Because of them? He hated the White! THOSE “BROTHERS” OF HIS WOULD LIVE TO REGRET THIS DECISION IF HE HAD ANYTHING TO SAY ABOUT IT!!!

But he was all alone now...

All at once, his skin went pale again. Pale with fear, Wiggly realized. He wasn’t used to feeling fear. Fear was bad. He couldn’t be feeling fear! The last time he felt fear was when his brothers pushed him out of the Black-

“Wiggly?”

Wiggly froze. He’d been hoping to avoid her for a little longer.

“Hello, Webby,” Wiggly said, his words deliberately terse and forceful to display his displeasure. He refused to look at her.

“What are you doing here?” Webby asked, her voice cautious and curious, “I thought you’d vowed that you’d never step foot in the White again if you could help it?”

“I did, didn’t I?” Wiggly responded, his tone hostile, “And for good reason! It’s much too bright here!”

“You’re dodging the question,” Webby stated, not buying it for a second, “Why are you here, Wiggog? I know how stubborn you are. You wouldn’t be in the White without a good reason. You wouldn’t be talking to me unless something big happened.”

Wiggly could hear the small pitter-pattering of her thin spider legs getting closer to him. He felt the tough exoskeleton outside of one of her leg-arms touch his face, and he was surprised when he didn’t feel himself resist the gentle push on the side of his head she did in order to turn his gaze to her (and when one of his face tentacles instinctively curled itself gently around Webby’s extended appendage-). Her many black spider eyes gazed upon his fur and tentacle-covered face with pity and sincerity. She’d no doubt seen his missing face-tentacle and the broken crown on his head. He must have looked absolutely pathetic. A strong wave of shame washed over Wiggly.

“What did our brothers do to you?”
