We Met In Winter (Fem! Jamilton)
She sneezed. It was a bad idea to wear a short skirt in the cold, freezing winter but here she is.
Alex can’t wait to get home as fast as she could and wrap herself in her warm blanket. She sashayed to the usual bus stop, while waiting for the bus to arrive.
She was shivering from the coldness. She guessed it was too obvious since someone beside her asked her something in great concern.
“Hey, are you okay?”
“Sure, I’m alright and dandy,” Alexandra replied with a small giggle. She turned her head to see who the hell was beside her.
Accidentally, her face flushed red as she saw the gorgeous person. That’s definitely her type. She looked up back so that the lady didn’t notice her blush.
“Your face is really red. Are you sure you’re fine?” The lady asked again.
“Nothing, it just you’re really hot-” Alex covered her mouth quickly as she said that. She became even more embarassed when the woman beside her started to chuckle.
“You’re hot too,” she teased. With a bright smile, she introduced herself. “I’m Thamsin Jefferson. You?”
“A-alexandra Hamilton. My name is Alexandra Hamilton.”

fun fact: while i was drawing this, i was making mac and cheese. well,,,,,,, i cooked it but it wasnt really tasty \im a bad cook lmfao im sorry jefferson\
trying to think of what hamilton ship the actual alexander hamilton would hate the most. at first i thought it would be jamilton? but maybe he's read enough classic literature and women's novels (lmao) to see the value in a good old enemies to lovers, doomed narrative story. hadams (is there even a ship name for john adams x hamilton) would be even worse probably. hamilton would be repulsed by it but john adams would hate it more, and therefore hamilton would learn to be amused by it out of pure spite.
as of now i'm leaning towards whamilton. man couldn't handle that newspaper calling washington his "immaculate daddy", he would have a fit.
This didn't turn out the way I wanted it to but. Had this idea in my head far too long I needed to get it out
maybe i'm crazy but i think if hamilton found out people shipped him and jefferson he'd genuinely pop a blood vessel denying it in newspapers and self-implode his career again by very obtusely saying some shit like "if you really want to see someone that i'm deeply obsessed with, going beyond just political difference, it's probably aaron burr the devil in disguise" or something .
but for some reason i feel like if jefferson learned that people shipped him with hamilton, he'd frown, raise an irritated eyebrow, say something very pithy + classist + obnoxious and just move on? but secretly feel a tiny tiny bit smug, deep inside?
like yes one singular jeffersonian brain cell was unconsciously carrying out a decades long obsessive unhealthy fixation rivalry enemies to enemies to enemies unhappy ending slow-burn. the man had a bust of hamilton, i don't care if it was ironic and gloating, that's still an insane unhinged thing to do.
Jamilton? Why yes, it is. It’s been like 6-7 months since I’ve really drawn both Hamilton and Thomas, so hear we are. I would’ve drawn Jamilmads, but right now, that’s hitting a sore spot becAUSE OF THE INCREDIBLE YET PAINFUL DEATH OF A NATION STORY.
So yeah- you can develop the story in your head behind the picture, I have one but where’s the fun in that?

I love redrawing these guys. Every couple of years I find myself wanting to draw them again. I don’t know, I just like seeing them be goofy and happy. Also covered in scars. Sue me
Also I always loved how Jefferson and Madison could have an entire conversation with saying nothing. This one is “I’m gonna drop him” “If you drop him, you are sleeping on the couch tonight.”
