when you tell him you're trans, he doesn't accept it at first
not in the sense of "you're going to hell" tho
he just has nooo idea what exactly you're going through and what it means to be trans
Joshu thinks you're going to change completely, like you're becoming a whole new person
definitely doesn't like the fact you don't want him to call you by nicknames that have something to do with your deadname
also not really happy about the fact that you want to change your looks, like haircut, clothing...
you tried to explain everything to him, but those thoughts kinda prevented him to really understand
Joshu really started to get upset when you start to hang out with, idk, Josuke more and seem to be more comfortable around him, since he doesn't deadname or misgender you like Joshu does
you two kind of drift apart, which isn't a really nice experience since you're in a romantic relationship, but Joshu texts and sometimes calls you daily, asking to hang out and why you are acting so strange around him
it doesn't matter if or if you don't answer him, he starts to get angry and decides to confront josuke (or any other person you hang out with more)
"Why is (deadname) always hanging out with you instead of me!? What do you have that I don't!? (dead pronounce) is my (deadpr)-friend, damnit!"
Josuke explains everything from the top, Joshu starts to understand everything a bit better after a few minutes (well enough to know how much he hurt you)
he immediately calls you as he joggs to your place to apologize
Joshu repeats everything he could remember in his head to not make a wrong move
doesn't matter if you pick up the phone or not, he ends up infront of your door, knocking the hell out of it
"(dea-) no- (Y/N)! It's me! Joshu! Your boyfriend! Please let me in!"
you let him in and he throws himself at you
he may not use direct words to apologize since he's eager to know everthing
he wants to be your number 1 person to go to regarding everything, and also your most favorite person
"so...you're a...what exactly...?"
you explain everything, how you feel exactly and things he shouldn't ask a trans person, how to word certain thing, ect...
"so you go by (prounounce)?"
if you go by multiple pronounce or neopronounce or sth, you have to explain how to use them in a sentence
Now with that out of the way-
threatens everybody who deadnames, mispronounces you or says anything bad about the lgbtq+ community (the threats are either hella stupid or downright terrifying and detailed)
researches on the topic transgender on his own
goes shopping for clothes for you with and without you
as far as I know- the Higashikata fam has a lot of money, so it shouldn't be a problem to purchase a good quality binder if you need one
any object that makes you feel more comfortable really
everytime one of his siblings ask you a question like "do you want to take hormones" and tuff like that, he switches to protective mode
"hey, you can't just ask (pronounce) questions like that!"
he himself has to hold himself back to not ask those questions himself tho, if you're not comfortable in answering them
but he demands new nicknames for you, cause he wants to call you by a nickname
so you two sit together and try to come up with some
also, he starts to get confused about his sexuality, he thought he was straight/gay all this time
