been working on different render capabilities on my pc- testing out how long animation will take tonight but here’s a preview!
I got a head start on this week’s discord prompt ‘masquerade”. I think I’m going to make this an ongoing image series, got one more planned for Dio, but I’ll take requests which Jojo characters you want me to do!
ok, so this 3 second vid only took..... THIRTY ONE HOURS AND TWENTY SEVEN MINUTES to render....yeah, I wont be doing animations till I upgrade my hardware. except maybe a few short ones, as a treat.
I know I just said animations would be ‘sometimes, as a treat’ but this one was able to finish while I was at my day-job

Guess which JoJo character was at the party last night. All that was found in the room the next day is this mask. Was it a kidnapping? A murder? no one knows...

ooookay. so. this happened. I’m part of a Jojo discord called Stardust Lounge and our weekly prompt this week is “royalty”... i kinda went down a rabbit hole brainstorming what to do and so I give you : what if Mikitaka thought he was a space prince and combined it with a “Conan the barbarian” style comic. Josuke of course playing the role of damsel in distress XD
WIP for my next discord prompt piece- this week’s theme is “monsters” and with the latest chapter of Merfolk Mating Rituals out I was inspired to do Squalo and Tiziano as old and new sirens. Been working hard on the comic for Merfolk Mating Rituals, done with 2/19 pages for chapter 1! a lot more renders to do this weekend

A render landscape I did for the Stardust Lounge discord server prompt- this time the theme is studio Ghibli- inspired from a desktop background I have from Howel’s Moving Castle. I’ll be posting a speed draw to show how much photoshop work I do after the renders are done.
Also....It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted anything... Turns out staying inside all the time and working from home sped up the timeline for my seasonal depression to kick in. Luckily I caught my own warning signs and have made some adjustments to try and mitigate the issues I’m having. This has turned into kind of a venting post but also I hope I can give a message to other people feeling isolated, depressed or otherwise not well during this crazy time.
It’s ok to admit when you need help.
Know what is normal for you.
Do your best to follow through with your recovery plan.
You are not alone in your mental health journey. As an older person here I volunteer to adopt any one of you that needs some extra support. I cant promise I’ll have the right answer for you, but I can listen.
