Pillow talk with Seventeen

A/N - just something quick I’ve been working on alongside a longer oneshot featuring Mingyu and Wonwoo coming soon! Enjoy!

S.Coups/ Seungcheol

Clingy. Like, will pull you in to bed and koala you into spooning. He’s always the big spoon of course, mostly to stop you from putting any more distance between you than he wants. Likes to mumble random words of affection that come to his mind. And WILL expect you to do the same in return.

I think it’s fair to say that he will sulk if you don’t wait up for him. Seriously, if he comes home to find you already asleep he will feel sad that he can’t have a proper cuddle. Because he doesn’t want to wake you when you look so peaceful. But don’t worry, whenever this happens he always gets cuddles in the morning instead.

Jeonghan

Is a tease and will tease as a warning. That basically means that whatever he wants goes. If he only wants to cuddle, then it doesn’t matter what you want, you’re only getting cuddled. That’s not to say he’s mean at all. It’s just there’s a hierarchy set in your relationship and if you try to test that then beware.

Overall, he’s very gentle with you. Soft touches and lingering kisses - you know, the ones where he pulls away earlier than you expect just so he can watch you chase after his lips. Smug. And loves to make you blush by pointing out how clingy you’re being and asks if you’ve been touch deprived.

Joshua

Ambience is important to him. Usually he will light a couple of candles and turn off the lights so the room is left in a warm glow. You both lay on your sides, staring into each other’s eyes as you talk. And everything is peaceful.

Joshua is quite affectionate and so he likes to have his arm on your waist, slowly brushing up and down your torso. Likes when you do similar ministrations to him too, like placing your hands on his chest and smoothing them along his abdomen. Also finds it really amusing if you grab his arms and give his biceps a squeeze (will tense them a bit more so he can hear your praise over how strong he is).

Jun

If Jun had it his way, he could stay up all night taking with you. Usually, you end up having to gently quiet him down because he gets carried away with his excitement. Initially, you begin cuddled into each other, the soft pillows and duvet surrounding your bodies in a little cocoon. And you share whispers with each other, light words of affection, as your eyes flutter shut.

As Jun admires, he begins to compare you to all the cute things that pop up in his mind. But the more he goes on, the more silly he becomes and the less resolve you have against fighting the urge to laugh. And so the jokes begin. Before you know it, you’re both giggling together and, just in general, messing around. Until you’re finally so exhausted that you no longer have enough energy to laugh.

Hoshi/ Soonyoung

Always beats you to the bed, laying with his hands outstretched and grabbing the air in signal for you to fall into his chest as quickly as possible. It’s very lighthearted and affectionate with Hoshi. Particularly with his tiger agenda.

Loves burying his face into the crook of your neck because he knows that’s where you’re most ticklish. Snickers into your skin when you begin to wriggle around in his hold, but you never have a chance to escape from his death grip on you. Will growl when you refuse to stop moving. Might have even not so accidentally bitten you once too…

Wonwoo

Snuggling into bed with Wonwoo, he likes to make sure that you are comfortable and settled before he himself gets cosy. That means he will need a lot of reassurance that the way he is holding you is ok. His favourite is to have your head laying on his chest, one arm around your waist and the other gently combing through your hair.

Just before sleep is Wonwoo’s favourite time to spend with you because there’s no distractions to get in either of your way. He can ask you all the questions he wants about your day etc… and always enjoys your infinite musings about the world. Deep chats are his favourite with you, it allows him insight into the depths of your mind and vice versa. You’re the only one he allows to explore that much of him.

Woozi/ Jihoon

A lot of the pillow talk that goes on between you consists of him talking away about his current work. It’s a good time for him to vent out any stresses so you don’t mind listening to him until his hearts content. There have been times when you’d dozed off half way through his rants, mostly because you find Woozi’s voice so soothing, regardless of what he’s talking about. Not that he minds at all. In fact, he adores how angelic you look while asleep.

Physical affection is generally in the form of him lightly holding your waist or holding hands. Nothing too extravagant. Although, without fail, he will give you a goodnight kiss just before he falls asleep.

DK/ Seokmin

There’s two options when it comes to pillow talk with Seokmin. He is either peppering feather light kisses all over your face, all smiles and giggles. Or he’s dead serious in his advances. The serious times consist of him alternating between wanting nothing but to stare deeply into your eyes and making out. In which case, good luck trying to actually have a conversation with him, let alone having enough time to get a word in edgewise.

When he’s in a more lighthearted mood, he likes to play the little game of seeing how many times he can interrupt your sentence with kisses before you get annoyed and give him that faux-serious glare. To which he simply pecks your lips again and has you absolutely melt for him.

Mingyu

Considering the given name of pillow talk, there is never really that much talking going on. Mingyu prefers to have more physical signs of affection, particularly when you’ve just settled in to bed. His favourite is to be sat up against the headboard with you cuddled into his chest. Especially so if you tuck your head under his chin. Sometimes he’s feeling extra clingy (which is more often than not in his case) and he’ll pull you fully onto his lap and hold you so tightly. And kisses are mandatory. He will sulk if you refuse.

Adorably smiley when you are too tired to protest against his affection. Like, seriously, he didn’t know his heart could beat this fast just from how passive you are to his wants. Though, let’s be real, how could anyone ever turn down a cuddle from Mingyu? I swear it would be like committing a crime.

The8/ Minghao

Having quiet time is important to Minghao, so he thrives off of just being able to lay in silence with you at the end of a long and tiring day. Silently admires every part of you and likes to mindlessly play with your fingers because - and he’s adamant on this - it’s fascinating how small your hands are.

He’s a little more sneaky with other forms of affection. And by that I mean like it’s only after he is sure you’re asleep that he will bring your hand up to his lips (which he hasn’t let go of the entire time) and press a delicate kiss on each of your fingertips slowly.

Seungkwan

Did somebody say sleep? Not when it concerns Seungkwan. He cannot get enough of laying in bed with you, whatever the circumstance. He likes it if you are the one to initiate cuddles because it makes him feel wanted. Gives you adoration filled side glances whenever you do something habitual/ without realising.

For real, he has a mental list of things you do subconsciously that he loves. For example, how you begin with a normal proximity between you at the beginning of the night, but somehow end up practically morphing into him shortly after. How you mindlessly play with his fingers as you recount the events of your day or latest gossip. But his favourite is when you randomly reach out to caress his cheek, brushing the pad of your thumb over his skin with so much love it makes his heart swell.

Vernon

Does this thing where he pretends not to notice you get into bed beside him, instead keeping his focus on his phone screen. But his inability to hide his smile gives him away. You usually have to snatch his phone from his grip, quickly leaning in to press a quick peck to his lips before he can gage what’s happened.

It’s never just a quick peck though, his hand instantly gravitating to holding your cheek so he can deepen the kiss. Eventually, you’re so tried from leaning over him in an uncomfortable position that you begin to move back, Vernon chasing after you, in no way done with making out.

Dino/ Chan

He just wants kisses, nothing else. Seriously, the second you fall into bed together he’s captured your lips desperately in his. He’s happy, so smiles the whole time and whispers how cute you are in breaths between more kisses.

Presses you into the mattress below him, holding your hands on either wide of your face as he stares down at you devilishly. And actually has the audacity to make comments about how desperate you are for him through laughter when he’s the one that hasn’t let you get so much as a hairs breadth away from him the whole time.

SEUNGCHEOL

it's the way he whines when you try to pull your hand away from his. the two of you have done so much more than hand-holding and are definitely old enough when it stops being cute, but god he wants to be close to you, wants to feel how perfectly your fingers intertwine with his - like a sixteen year old is with his school crush, clingy. and you always let him pull you closer.

JEONGHAN

it's the way the two of you hold hands in secret, even though there's no need to. it's like high schoolers reaching for each other in between classes, knowing smiles and mischievous eyes meeting in a crowded room. it's how you create these secret memories, even though you can very well just do it in open. this is just for the two of you, these moments are just yours.

JOSHUA

it's the way he always smiles against your lips when you kiss. his hand wraps around yours and he almost giggles, it's so fucking cute and you feel like you're seventeen and back from a date with the guy next door, who you've crushed on for as long as you can remember.

Something to Believe In- Masterlist

Pairing: newsie!svt x newsie!reader

Genre: Historical romace taking place in the early 1900s.

Summary:

It’s 1899 after the infamous Newsboys’ Strike in which Newsies of New York City successfully negotiated fair prices of newspapers. Tensions have finally ceased between the higher ups of the newspaper company, The New York World, and the lower employees, the Newsies, who work for them selling newspapers all across the city. You’re the leader of a smaller newspaper printing company based in Gramercy selling newspapers for the Gramercy Gazette. You love your job there but since the big strike, smaller newspaper companies are combining with bigger ones like The New York World, and you fear you might have to change neighborhoods soon. Still, you continue to lead your group of newsies and do the best to protect them out on the streets of New York City.

Author's Note:

This fic was a random idea that myself and one of my friends developed recently and I decided to take the reigns and try it out. As an avid theatre person and carat, I thought the combination of Seventeen as newsies would make for an interesting story. Like imagine Seventeen wearing newsie clothes and dancing in the streets. I would pay good money to see that. But instead of begging Pledis for something that's never going to happen, you can just pop open Tumblr and read my fic for free lmao. I have never done anything like this but I love writing and I love Seventeen of course so I will try to update the parts as soon as I can. I am going to start off with a couple of parts that get the story going and then it will split off into parts that ship the reader and the individual members. Also disclaimer: this is historically accurate as I can make it but I'm no history expert. It's just supposed to be for fun. I also apologize if there are mistakes or writing errors. Anyway, I hope you enjoy as much as I've enjoyed writing it!

But besides all the teasing, he really appreciates it, he feels so lucky to have you. He really has a soft spot for you and we all know it.

JOSHUA . . PLEASE HIS REACTION WILL BE SO WHOLESOME, he's already so whipped with you, but, imagine now. He'll make you sing it while he plays the guitar. And even record a video and send it to the members showing you off, and saying something like ''Get you a s/o like mine, oh, I'm sorry, there isn't anyone like them.'' WOOZI . . Omg, he'll be so surprised. You will say, like any other person if someone writes them a song, right? Well, you are wrong. Normally he's the one who is always writing songs, for SVT or even sometimes for you, but the fact that you spent your time writing a song, for him AND about him. He will try his best to not cry at the moment you show him the song, and when you finish expect a hug or a kiss, because you deserve it after you make Woozi almost cry of happiness.

DK . . Oh, this boy, lemme talk about him. When you tell him that you wrote a song about him he will be so excited that he's going to be louder than usual, and you didn't even show him the song yet. While listening to the song he'll have a big smile glued to his face, he can't stop smiling and he won't even stop after 6 hours. When the song gets to its end, he will hug you from your waist and start to spin while saying that he loves you and he's so grateful to have you as his s/o.

SEUNGKWAN . . HIS REACTION WILL BE SO CUTE. He'll be so flustered and a stuttering mess. He can't believe that you actually wrote a song about him. While listening to the song he will be in silence, but not because he doesn't like it or something like that, it's because he really doesn't know what to say, he's speechless. Once the song it's over he'll be looking at you with honey-dripping eyes, and getting you into his embrace while whispering into your ear how much he likes you.

Joshua promised that everything would be fine,he promised that you’d both still be in the loving relationship you both were in.He made so much promises,yet he couldn’t even keep his word to one.

When he first left,everything went fine.There were messages every hour from the both of you,video calls every night filled with giggles and ‘i love yous’.You really thought it would be alright for him to be far away.

He managed to join a company and started to record songs.He’d tell you the progress of everything,when he would start to record the music video,the songs he wrote,and so much more.You enjoyed listening to him,knowing he was happy.

The hole in your heart that he mad when he left was starting to heal,until he tore it all down again.As months went on,the messages started to come mostly from you,and all you got were short replies.

You didn’t make anything of it at first,he was probably busy anwyays you thought.Video calls were only on weekends now,with his excuse that ‘he was getting busier recording songs’,what a liar.

If only you hd put the pieces together quicker,maybe you would have saved yourself from getting hurt.He’d been cheating on you for two months.

“Who is Vanessa and why are you calling her sweetie?” you questioned.He didn’t say anything for a few seconds,he strangely just stayed silent.You were freaking out and thoughts began to race in your head.

Joshua cleared his throught before replying “Oh I just got her name mixed up with yours”.Feeling unsatisfied from his answer and starting to feel angry,you decided to speak again

“You didn’t answer my question,Shua.Who is she?” You pursed your lips and clenched your fists into tight balls.An ache started to form in your stomach as tears welled up in your eyes.

“She’s...she’s no one okay? Don’t worry about it.” Joshua said.He felt nervous,his palms were sweating and heart started racing.He didn’t mean to call you Vanessa,it just...slipped from his mouth.He had contemplated on telling you the truth,but he knew you would erupt if you found out.

“If she was no one,why would you call her sweetie?”

Shit,you put him in a tight spot now.He opened his mouth to say something in return but,his words had failed him.He knew he should have never slept with Vanessa from the start,his moral compass wouldn’t allow that.Joshua sighed,not knowing what to say. He’d just have to come clean.

“I’m sorry.I’m so sorry” he squeaked out.The atmosphere was hushed.He was petrified to know what your reply was.

Everything started to click.The reason he couldn’t text that much,the reason calls were only for weekend,and those short short replies.

He had been cheating on you,and you couldn’t put all the pieces together.Your jaw dropped and your eyebrows raised.The tears that were welled up started to fall freely now,you were crestfallen to see how unloyal he was.

“Sorry doesn’t fix everything you idiot.” you said before hanging up.You curled up into a ball and bawled your eyes out for..god who knows how long? The person you devoted your heart to,your other half, he was just another cassanova.

The worst part was that,he didn’t even try to call you back.

It had been a month after you ended things with him. It was tough at first,you frequently saw him posting on his social media about how he was still living his normal life even after he tore your heart out.There were photos of Vanessa,which made you even more pissed.

You decided to delete everything that contained him in your phone,you blocked his number,even if your heart felt like it was so wrong to do so,but you couldn’t stay hung up over him forever.

You told your friends what happened between you and Joshua,all of them were super supportive on your side and said that he was stupid for playing with your feelings,but you still felt numb.

Deciding to move on and try to date other people even became a problem because of him.They all reminded you of him.Sometimes it was his hair,his eyes,his laughter,and his smile.

God,whenever you noticed that somebody had the same smile as him,your heart sank.He was so stupid to throw you away just like that,yet he’d still stay in your mind.

As time passed on,you learned to let go.You started to be a normal person again,the person you were meant to be.You started talking to your friends more,going out more,you were getting back on track again.

While recovering,you managed to bring yourself closer to Wonwoo.He was one of your chilldhood friends who you grew up with,and had always stayed.

Wonwoo is one of the kindest people you know.He was the type of person you could tell anything to,and he would listen.In fact,he was one of the few people who you told first about the breakup.

He had just listened and comforted you with kind words when you broke down telling him what happened.He assured you that you were not the one at fault,and from then on you were always by his side.

You started getting closer to Wonwoo from that day,offering to go out to cafes and have lunch or dinner together whenever there was a little window of time in your schedule.Most of your time was gradually starting to go to Wonwoo..and then you started catching feelings.

Wonwoo had also confessed to you first,it was when you were having lunch together at a small cafe where you lived nearby.You were chewing your food when he suddenly blurted out “I’m in love with you.We should date”

You were surprised at first,but you accepted his offer and from then on,were one strong hell of a couple.

You didn’t expect to get into another relationship affter Joshua,but Wonwoo proved that it was okay to love again.He had got you to heal.Soon after,you fell head over heels for him,and Joshua slipped from your mind.

You unblocked Joshua after some time,you had made peace with what happened.He did follow you on social media again,he even saw your posts with Wonwoo,but he didn’t say anything though.It wasn’t like you were expecting him to.

You learned to close the chapter of Joshua in your life.The chapter had ended,and now there was a new one that began with Wonwoo.

Joshua would just stay as a memory,and you were gonna be fine with it.

Imagine you’re studying French and you’ve been at it for hours, trying to get the pronunciation right, practicing grammar, etc. boyfriend!Josh has been pleading you to stop and lay down with him on his day off but you have a test and you really want that A+. So you keep at it, “Apple is pomme, Man is homme, child is enfant...” you practiced. “and kiss is....” Josh said as he kissed you deeply. Of course you let him for a bit melting into it but after awhile you hit him gently. “What the hell Josh...” you said chuckling, “what isn’t that what they would call a “French kiss?”” He said. You couldn’t stay mad at him not even for a second.
