And here we have another Zutara crumb from "The Ember Island Players"! Here is Katara reacting to her stage character’s depiction:
"Well that’s just silly. I don’t sound like that."
And here is Zuko, just a little bit later during the play, exactly mirroring her previous mannerisms when reacting to his stage character’s depiction:
"They make me look totally stiff and humorless."
For those who don’t know, mirroring another person’s mannerisms and body language is something that people have psychologically been proven to tend to do (usually subconsciously) the closer they start feeling towards that person.

Homelander gets riled up pretty easily, and sometimes the reader does it on purpose. One little off-hand remark about George Washington and he gets heated, leading to a one-sided argument where he goes off on twenty different tangents.
And thus the trap is set. As Homelander picks the reader up to yell at them, they give him a sneaky little kiss on the nose. He instantly gets flustered by this sudden display of affection and his brain just shuts down.
