I think it's hilarious that Jack and Ashley are both just two rich kids who got bored of their parents' parties and took up villainy as a hobby for shits and giggles to pass the time. Especially Katnappe.
It really is pretty hilarious. Jack clearly has a goal of being “evil” and conquering things from the get-go. But honestly Katnappe really just seems to do her “evil” to fill her time and be a brat. All about robbing clothes and luxuries and a frankly ridiculous amount of cat paraphernalia. Though I’d say at least that they do have a contrast in that Jack seems to do this in part because he wants familial intention. While Katnappe with her whole “disguise” and all seems like she might be trying to do this on the down-low.
