Post-midnight armor designs. Behold the sloppy.
After months of war waging, I finally got Manga Studio 5 to work without crippling lag. Apparently I can’t be connected to Mexican internet and expect my program to work right without slowing to a crawl. An American VPN connection works fine with it though. What? Still trying to figure that one out.
Soon, this reference sheet will be finished, and I can move on to drawing people doing things instead of stoically glaring at the left side of the screen.
Getting further along with this species sheet while trying to work up the nerve to make comics. I’ve got a large chunk of script, at least.
I don’t know if this is even a good time to post.

Trying to get the hang of this new (maybe?) design.
Since i can’t post what I’m actually being productive with, have this rough concept for a back ref i started a few days back instead. :U
It started out as hand practice but I got carried away. Too many glowy bits, you say? Bah.
Ideas/concepts. Take it all with a grain of salt bc i change things at the drop of a hat. ALSO rare face pic, isn't he hideous? *obligatory got your nose joke
He's only stable enough to look humanoid for a couple of seconds if something very strong manages to rip that off of him. The masks (and other subsequent pieces) of the guys like him are nottt made to come off, but can ‘unlock’ on command of a handler. For those situations when you need something scarier than what the look like already. Masks are objects referred too as “artifact organs” and are created from the bones of very big, very scary things. They kind of just become a part of their bodies.
