Hi! Sorry to bother but I've been wondering, is Nikolai in your KNY AU? Because if not I feel like he would be very fitting for Enmu, especially with Fyodor being Muzan

ok i lied, the first reason why i had dazai as kanae was because i thought it'd be funny to imply soukoku in this au KJASKJ

even when i intended for soukoku to be sanekana, i ended up having more ideas for kunikidazai?? which is why i asked a while back for vague prompts i can use for sanekana!soukoku

different anon but in my attempt to match mori to a character, i was scrolling through the wiki and thought about how zenitsu's mentor looks a lot like fukuchi

but anyways

honestly the only one i can rlly think of is that doctor who gave muzan the blue spider lily medicine in the first place

i know only the doctor thing matches and also mori probably deserves a bigger role but also idk what else im sorry

also i can see fyodor killing mori so... yeah

ohh, i had to look that up since i haven't read the manga yet but yeah the doctor has a really minor role

fyodor killing mori is pretty on brand though, considering what happened in bsd canon

the tanizaki siblings will be the upper moon 6 siblings, daki and gyutaro!

also do you have a ubuyashiki in your au? cause i didn't see a confirmed character for him but i thought fukuzawa would be an idea! i feel like their personalities match up a bit and all that'll but it's only an idea! (that is if you don't all ready have a character)

when i said "ok i lied", i was kind of referring to an old ask about dazai and jouno being the kocho siblings (because i also thought it'd be funny, but i was also inspired by @/crab-cafe's childhood friends au of them!) ; so i had two main reasons to have dazai as kanae, if that makes sense

i also considered fukuzawa as ubuyashiki-sensei at first! however, i decided to have natsume-sensei be ubuyashiki-sensei

they're both mentors/leaders, and i thought it was a neat similarity that they both changed oda's and gyomei's lives respectively

okayy i actually have no idea if you already answered this but is dazai dead in your kny au? alright time to leave and never come back byee

.......yeah.... yeah he's dead as i'm still following kny canon (or at least as best as i can)

for the kny au, do you have any ideas on kokushibo? i was thinking ayatsuji for some reason, probably because of his ability kill count + he’s on the list of extremely dangerous ability users

oh! fukuchi will be kokushibo in this au (ayatsuji as koku is interesting though....)

not only did i want to have the decay of angels be part of the 12 kizuki (and have the characters fit their roles ofc), but i thought it'd be fun to have him and fukuzawa as the tsugikuni twins :D

when i tried matching bsd characters to kny roles, i was moreso considering main manga characters first, so i'm sorry this means that LN characters will be on the sidelines in this au :')

here were the doodles i mentioned before! i had sm suegiku + kunikidazai brainrot at the time and thought it’d be fun to explore their dynamic in my au.... might as well compile these two since i drew them simultaneously

okay so i'm actually holding off from answering these since uh: (1) not enough time to draw, (2) i don't wanna spoil the surprise by just revealing who's who without the proper designs

however!! i actually want to hear your opinion on this one!

for hantengu, you know there are like 5 other demons that comprise upper moon 4? i thought that maybe the Flags could work since they also happen to be 5 people in the team (minus chuuya btw)

and like adam could be hantengu or something?? but i'm still not sure if that would work out well, there's little information about each flag member to work with ;_;

i actually had 3 more characters to draw for this spread but unfortunately, this file has been long overdue and i’d like to make some changes T_T!!! anyway have like? 1/2 of main squad..... (kenji, kyoka, and akutagawa will come soon!)

i have other plans for the au, including them and the characters i have yet to draw, please stay tuned for when i’m completely back from my drawing break!

yup! first thought was nikolai and i stuck to it (by the way, please don't apologize! i love talking about this au and sharing it with you all!!!)

Does Jouno's katana actually looks like Shinobu's katana? Like its a full katana but half of its metal is taken away and it results the katana to be more lighter, you cant cut a demons head with that kind of katana, but it acts like a needle or u can say stinger to basically spread the poison around the enemies body, resulting in dying bc poisoned

But yeaa just want to know!! ^^ in this au does jouno has a hard time carrying a normal katana so he kinda improvised? Or his katanas the same as everyone

to answer your question, yes! his nichirin blade is the exact same as shinobu's. funny enough, your ask was directly related to the character secret i had in mind for jouno, so i drew it!

i thought of the reason before, and i feel like the reason is that the insect breathing style is an improved rather than an improvised version of the flower breathing style (that dazai would have created),

wherein jouno's fighting style is about having as little contact with his target demon as possible, thus the whole poisoned blade thing

(and also because he still thrives off of the shocked noises and agonizing screams that come from demons who fall victim to his poison, but i think that's a given.)
