Ok but Coffee Shop AU where Akutagawa is the barista and Atsushi's a college student who frequents the coffee shop and Aku is like, mean as hell at the start because "Who the fuck orders this bullshit ass coffee at five in the morning?" but over time Atsushi starts to go to the shop more often than just in the mornings when he wakes up at 5 to get a headstart on the day+morning classes and actually stays in the coffee shop rather than buying to-go coffee. Akutagawa is like, really confused, cause why is the uneven-banged kid constantly requesting that Aku is the one to make and bring out the order, but eventually when Atsushi starts asking to surprise him instead of an actual drink Aku does small latte arts for him. Starting off with a cartoony-ish tiger (which Atsushi stared at for five minutes cause he didn't wanna ruin it, but eventually gave up and took a sip cause it was getting cold), then a sun, and eventually just really intricate hearts. Akutagawa constantly wants to get better at his latte art, because, he wants to keep seeing the sparkle in Atsushi's eyes whenever he sees it. He likes seeing him get all excited over small drawings. After a few months of this, Akutagawa confesses his love through once again, a latte, with the words "I ♡ U" on it.
