Learning Russian - Tumblr Posts
спуститься по лестнице — to go down the stairs Я спускаюсь (вниз) по лестнице. — I'm going down the stairs. Будьте осторожны, спускаясь по лестнице. — Be careful going down the stairs.
In a film class, the teacher once explained to us how fear can come from taking something normal and changing it in some way. For example, taking a normal spider and blowing it up to the size of a room or changing the light inside a fridge from white to red. It's funny how the trailer for this horror film tried to evoke that feeling by reversing certain letters... but they just ended up with И and Я, letters that look normal to anyone learning Russian.😆 Or are they implying Russian letters look scary?🤔
Hello my dear Tumblr users!
It's been a while I've decided to learn Russian but I have to admit it wasn't as simple as I thought...
If any of you guys can just hang out for fun and have a typical conversation together to improve my russian, I truly appreciate it <3

Дуэль Люцифера с Аластором была интересной. Damn I almost started sweating to write them all correct eventually 😭 (which I think still includes some obvious flaws)

I have been learning Russian for two and a half months ("I wanna read Dostoyevsky in the original" - the queen's gambit) and it's such a simple language, apart from the pronouns.
Pronouns are horrible in Russian :(
