I'm trying to think about what it would be like when it's Malleus' turn, like will he take the punch and still be in love, like a damn Uchiha, or will he just be smart and dodge?

although after the 4th or 5th time the other characters will become aware of this, and it is very likely that Orto will develop some super shield capable of surviving the punch

Idle but uptight chatter filled the room. Tonight was, for better or worse, a political dinner that Leona was somewhat forced to attend. Only somewhat because it was indeed his partner, Soru, who had made him go. They were, in fact, convinced this dinner would help with the economy around one of the borders of the Sunset Savannah. At least he was in attendance along with Leona, seated next to him too, so the oversized housecat would actually stay for the dinner. The adults were making important conversations when that nobleman's daughter, who was also in attendance, spoke right up to talk to Leona, out of boredom or whatever her motives were.

"So you're the second prince? You're hardly seen anywhere I thought you'd be slightly deformed or something like that.", she said, twisting her hair around her finger before continuing to speak "But you sir seem to be the opposite, you look quite good."

"Thank you. Your choice of dress is.. pleasant" Leona responded, rather reluctantly but politely. It was a woman speaking to him and he did receive a compliment. Though he usually did not care much for manners, tonight had to work. Why was he so set on it working out? Soru said they'd be his pillow for an entire day. For that, he'd even attend classes for a day.

They continued to eat, though most of the conversation making was left to Soru, simply because the young lady their age seemed to be trying to make moves on Leona. He didn't appreciate them, neither of them did. It wasn't like they were officially dating in the public eye, Leona just really didn't want to deal with that mess yet. Though whatever was happening now sure didn't help, since the flirting between the guest's daughter and him was not a mutual thing. Through sheer coincidence and perhaps foolish ideals on the noble's end of the line she kept saying all the wrong things, it was honestly quite embarrassing. Initially there was a press conference after this in a room adjacent to the dining hall they were using. The one they were in right now was larger to accommodate more people. He'd leave if the young lady continued, but that would leave Soru behind. In that moment, for whatever reason, be it a dust particle or someone, like ruggie, talking about Leona, he sneezed.

"I'd say king of beasts bless you, but I believe he's already done so." She said to him. "Listen, your highness, how about you and I take a walk together after dinner?" She asked, which he denied, but she didn't want to take that no for an answer it seemed.

Unfortunately that seemed to be the straw that broke the camel's back. He got up wordlessly, picking up Soru and throwing them above his shoulder.

"I was trying to be polite and let your sad attempts at flirting slide but no means no and I am not interested. I already have a lovely partner with which I am leaving. Good. day." He said, clearly through gritted teeth and bared fangs, taking long, proud and quick strides that reeked of aggravation.

He didn't care that he would be walking through a room where the press was waiting, not even when he threw open the door and in a single moment of uncalculated and rash thoughts, took a mic and with a stern voice he spoke into it.

"Listen up, this here is my partner and I don't want to be with anyone but him..!"

Sweet as those words were he did get smacked in the back by a slightly raging Soru, who could not believe that he just did that in front of a live camera feed before running off. It was so out there that Soru even brought it up again in his bedroom right as he laid down on them with basically his whole weight. He groaned against her stomach in response.

"'m not taking any more of that crap. People who don't take no for an answer should get bent." He almost growled. Really all he wanted to do now was hide in his lover's arms and maybe he could do that. Just until both of them realised the giant media scandal that was building up now, thanks to Leona's rash actions. I mean, who'd have guessed that Leona Kingscholar of all people would suddenly show up with a lover, nevermind one that seemed to be nonexistent, seeing as there were hardly any records of them at all.

"But you're still pretty..!"

Leona Kingscholar

When Leona made (Name) play his pillow for a nap he didn’t sign up for them not paying attention to him at all. Sure he didn’t outright tell them that was what he wanted but should that not be a given so he could relax with them in peace? He watched them through barely opened eyes as the used their phone camera to inspect their face, or more specifically their pimples, he guessed. He let his mind wander for possible reasons, it didn’t take him long to come to the conclusion that perhaps (Name) was insecure. So now he had to think of a way to start working on the issue, to get the insecurity to go away, even if it was only temporary. They were laying on soft earth at the moment and it was calm enough that (Name)‘s guard was down so.. flick!

With a barely there thump the phone landed on the floor, not the slightest bit of damage on it. In barely a moment Leona pulled them down with him, right to his chest, with no chance of escaping.

“Stop looking at yourself like that, you’ll turn into that skincare obsessed Blondie. Besides, there’s nothing to stress over in the first place herbivore. Those things will go away, I’ve seen them enough on those idiots (read; Savanaclaw students) during training. Don’t pick and you’ll be fine.”, he said and paused, taking a deep breath and getting comfortable before continuing “Anyway, you don’t need to think about that right now, considering you should have been busy being a pillow instead, so you have to make up for that now..!” And with that he fell asleep again, well, he pretended to, just to see if his diversion worked and yes, it seemed to work just fine. He stayed awake a little longer.. but once they were napping, he slept a bit too.

Kalim Al-Asim

“Ooooo! What are you looking at? Did you try something new with makeup?” Kalim asked as he came over to their desk in class, wondering why (Name) was inspecting their face, only for them to shake their head no. “You didn’t? Is something about your face bothering you then?” He asked, which was correct. They didn’t exactly want to admit to Kalim that they were feeling insecure about their pimples, especially since there were one or two Pomefiore students eyeing them that day. Still, Kalim was not someone you could just lie to that easily, especially since he already caught them inspecting their face for the nth time that day. So, (Name) decided, they had to be honest. They should be honest, Kalim did not deserve to be lied to anyway. So they told him that they were feeling bad about their pimples and that said pimples were bothering them. It took him a moment to realise what they meant because really he couldn’t think of a reason that they should be insecure. Sure the Pomefiore students really sucked but they didn’t know (Name)! Therefore they were not entitled to have an opinion about their looks!

He furrowed his brows and pouted at (Name).

“Why are they a problem? I don’t get it.. you look pretty anyway!” And after that, he stayed silent. That is until he got an idea.

“I know! How about we get a facial together?? I can ask Vil for recommendations on Salons and we can have a spa date! I heard facials can help with skin problems so if you really want to get rid of them, let’s at least make it a fun date!” Kalim suggested, kissing their forehead immediately after and giving them a hug. Yes, a date like that would surely be wonderful.

Ruggie Bucchi

Silence followed their statement. (Name) was upset that day and when their boyfriend Ruggie noticed and asked, albeit in his usual teasing tone and followed by his signature giggle. Of course once he realised that maybe it was a bit more serious than that he once again repeated his question but more serious this time.

“I mean.. I guess my pimples are really bothering me lately because they’re just so.. you see them yourself, you get it, right?” (Name) said, which Ruggie nodded at, raising a hand to his chin to think.

“Well.. don’t see why they bother ya, cause you’re still good looking with or without them.. but my Grandma’s got a face-mask recipe somewhere, my mom had bad skin growing up I’m told.. won’t be fancy but if you like, we could make that together

once I get the time to call for it.. buuut my service isn’t free, shishishi~” He teased as he ruffled (Name)’s hair, which made them roll their eyes but nod anyway. They knew just the way to repay him after all, so a small favour like this wasn’t a big deal in that way, but it meant a lot to them. And maybe they didn’t hate their pimples as much as they thought, after all, if Ruggie didn’t care, why should they? Soon Ruggie was off with a quick bye bye kiss, leaving (Name) feeling impatient as they waited and prepared for their little date, smiling to themselves as they formed an all too familiar batter into shapes as oil heated up in a big pot behind them.

He’s very protective of what he believes to be his, and luckily for him, you permit this act of desire. How could you not when you are given treatment from him that no other has received. A seat by his side, without judgment.

Of course, you are not easily escaping his teasing as he calls you clingy when you sneak into his bed. But you can make him go a bit quiet in some occasions.

Such as the very day when you were sure he was asleep. You crawled into your side of his bed, designated for you only. And whispered in his ear, playing with his hair. “You’re mine, Leona, and I’m thankful that you can call me yours as well.”

You closed your eyes, drifting to sleep, while he laid awake. Shocked by the sudden knowledge.

He had something all to himself. Someone, who he won’t have to worry about losing.
