One Of My Favorite Stories!

One of my favorite stories!

To help a deer friend

To Help A Deer Friend

Summary: After the events of the last extermination, everyday life slowly returns to the Hazbin Hotel. Only one of them has behaved strangely since the latest extermination. Alastor retreats more and more into his room and Charlie wants to know what's wrong with the Radio Demon and decides to bring light into the dark… (I suck so hard at writing summaries. I am so sorry)

Warnings: This story contains innocent, fluffy tickling near the end, so if you don't like this, then please don't read this, thank you. Also a little OOC warning here. I always try to stay in character while writing, but I can't make promises that it stays that way during the story. And since I am NOT a shipper, this is pure platonic fluff ;)

Word count: 5500

Authors note: My first Hazbin Hotel Fanfiction and also the first FF which I have written in almost 2 years of having a very bad writer's block due to my ongoing depression and grief. I am a little rusty, so please don't expect too much. I also translated this from german into english, so please don't expect perfect writing here, thank you^^. I had this idea stuck in my head for almost two weeks and a few days ago I finally found enough motivation to write it down and this is what came out (you can also find this fic on my Fanfiction.net account). Maybe someone likes this :3. And now have fun reading it.

Update: Sequel can be found here

Silence.

Something that now felt unfamiliar to Charlie after everything that had happened. Too much had happened in the past few months. The negotiations with Adam, then with Heaven, all the defeats those negotiations had brought...all of it had frayed her nerves like nothing else and then it had come to the big bang, in which she had lost not only the hotel but also a good friend.

Charlie just hoped that Sir Pentious was in a better place now, even though she knew that was unlikely, because no one, not even the angels, seemed to know what happened after the death of a human soul. No matter whether it was a human soul in the form of a demon or an angel.

Not only had a portrait been created in honor of the serpent demon, but her father had also built the hotel in such a way that, on closer inspection, it reminded her a little of Sir Pentious and the Princess of Hell appreciated that gesture very much.

A lot had changed now, especially since her father had moved into the hotel.

Charlie couldn't help but roll her eyes, when she thought about how childish he had been acting since then. But that wasn't even the worst of it, because Alastor, the Radio Demon everyone in hell feared, had also been behaving very differently since then. It was as if he had found a new rival and it seemed as if he wanted to turn said new rival’s life into literal hell. The two of them were worse than little children and their behavior was beginning to pull on Charlie's nerves.

As she made her way into the empty lobby, she paused for a moment and listened into the silence of the hotel.

Vaggie, Husker, Angel, even Niffty, had all flown out today. Only Charlie herself, her father and Alastor were still in the hotel. But she hadn't seen or heard anything from either of them today and it was starting to unsettle her. The two of them were usually fighting against one another every day, but now they were so quiet all of a sudden? Something was definitely not right today!

When Charlie thought about it, she had noticed that Alastor had been retreating to his room more and more lately. Lucifer couldn’t be the reason for that, because whenever her father was around, Alastor couldn't help but play tricks on him, before disappearing again. But there were always moments when Charlie noticed that something seemed to be wrong with Alastor. She had often noticed how he withdrew from them all and it seemed to her that his face was contorted in pain. Although he constantly wore that big grin on his face, Charlie knew it was just a mask he put on every day to hide his true feelings from all of them. But the young princess had noticed lately that this mask was slowly but surely cracking and Alastor seemed to have noticed this too, because that would also explain why he had been making himself so scarce lately...

A startled squeak escaped her throat, as two arms suddenly wrapped around her upper body, abruptly snapping her out of her thoughts and before she knew what was happening, her back got pressed against a warm chest that vibrated slightly as her "attacker" laughed in amusement.

"Did I scare you, my little apple?" Lucifer's voice purred teasingly into her ear, causing her to giggle and playfully trying to free herself from his surprisingly strong grip.

"Dad, let go of me," she giggled and she could literally feel her father's broad grin in the back of her neck.

"Already? Oh, come on, Charlie~. It's been so long since I've been able to hold my little duckling in my arms. Why don't you give me a few minutes to enjoy this rare moment~?."

The words were followed by three pairs of enormous, beautiful wings, which also gently wrapped themselves around Charlie and before the young princess knew it, she was already laughing and squirming slightly in the arms of the King of Hell, as he gently moved his wings up and down to tickle her teasingly with his feathers.

She couldn't remember how often he had done this when she was still a child, but now, at this moment, lying in his arms and laughing more carefree than she had for a long time, she realized how much she had missed her father. Their bond had become even stronger since the day of the extinction. He had saved her when Adam had wanted to kill her and in the end it had been Charlie herself who had had to stop her father from killing Adam. She had never seen him so out of control as on that day and she still shuddered when she remembered the look of pure bloodlust in his red sparkling eyes that day. It should have scared her, but it hadn't. He had done it to protect her and show her how much he loved her.

Another squeak escaped her, as she was whirled around and in the next moment, she was greeted by Lucifer's broadly grinning face. His wings disappeared, but his arms stayed where they were and her father pulled her lovingly against his body, wrapping his arms around her, as if he feared someone might take her away from him. Her eyes closed, as she too wrapped her arms around him and returned the warm embrace, snuggling up to him.

The two of them remained in this position and no one spoke a word, just enjoying the moment of silence and peace. The moment couldn’t have been more perfect. A hand gently brushed through her hair and she pressed herself a little closer against her father.

"I've missed this so much..." he whispered softly into her ear and she could only nod in response.

"Thank you for staying, Dad. That means a lot to me. And thank you for saving my hotel,” she whispered back to him.

"You are most welcome, little apple."

Father and daughter reluctantly separated from each other, as they both knew that they couldn't stay in this position forever. And after all, Charlie still had work to do.

"Dad, can I ask you something?"

"Of course you can. Go ahead and ask."

"Have you seen Alastor today, by any chance?"

It was enough just to mention his name and Charlie could see her father's face grimace as he sat down on one of the sofas in the lobby.

"Fortunately not," was the king's short reply and Charlie had to suppress an eye roll.

"Bambi's probably in his room, crying into his pillow, because he lost our last battle. Your janitor hasn't exactly been at his best lately..."

It looked like Charlie wasn't the only one who had noticed that Alastor had been acting strange lately.

"That's what I want to talk to you about," she said and she took a seat next to Lucifer, who raised an eyebrow at her and gave her a skeptical look.

"You want to talk to me about Bambi?"

"Oh, come on, Dad. Stop calling him that. Why don't you two just get along?"

A mocking laugh escaped from the King’s throat.

"Nope, never gonna happen."

His lips curled into a wide grin that showed all his fangs.

"It's far too much fun to mess with this prick. But...what did you want to know from me, my little apple?"

"Actually, I just wanted to know if you knew where Alastor might be."

"I already told you: Bambi has probably locked himself up in his room and is crying into his pillow. I think he's finally realized that I'm the better of the two of us."

Charlie only had another eye roll left for her father, as she stood up again and left the lobby.

Gosh, why was he acting so damn silly sometimes? King of hell…of course…

"Where are you going?"

"To Alastor. I want to see for myself what's wrong with him. And Dad, at least leave him alone today, will you?"

The fallen angel gave her another big grin and the mischief sparkled in his eyes.

"I can't make any promises that I can't keep in the end, you know?"

"Dad!"

"Okay, okay. Fiiiiiine. I promise you that I'll give the old stag a day's rest today. I've got to go out anyway. I promised Vaggie I'd help her with the last few errands for the hotel. Are you happy with that?"

"Yes, and hopefully you'll stick to your promise," the young princess grumbled and she didn't even wait for his answer, as she left the lobby.

She tried to ignore the amused laughter that echoed after her...

It wasn't long before she was standing in front of the door that led to Alastor's room, but she paused, as she raised her hand to knock. Should she really do that? Or should she just leave the Radio Demon alone? He would certainly have his reasons for staying away from everyone else lately. But these thoughts alone went against Charlie's nature. Alastor was a resident of the Hazbin Hotel, had become a good friend who had fought bravely for them all. To abandon him now went against everything Charlie believed in. So in the end, she raised her hand and knocked gently on the door.

"Al? Are you in there?"

From the other side of the door, she heard a soft noise that sounded as if someone was dragging themselves heavily to the door and indeed, it opened a crack and Alastor carefully peeked out at her.

"Charlie, my dear. What gives me the honor?"

He grinned broadly at her and looked as carefree as ever, but Charlie could see that he was just putting on a mask again and hiding everything else behind it. If she looked closely, she could see the dark bags under his eyes and how tense his body was. It was as if he was struggling to stay on his feet. Something was wrong with him; that was a fact and Charlie wouldn't leave until she knew what was wrong with him.

"Can I come in?" she asked, giving him a friendly smile that she knew would soften his otherwise cold heart just a little. And she was successful again today, because Alastor invited her into his room without further ado and closed the door behind her as soon as she had entered. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw him shuffle slowly to his bed and sit down on it, his movements no longer seeming as elegant as usual.

"Why are you here, Charlie?" he asked.

"I just wanted to check on you. You know, I was worried about you, Al."

"Worried? About me? But why is that? There's really no reason to be."

"Really? I and the others have the feeling that you've been avoiding us lately."

A faint hint of radio static briefly filled the air, but it passed as quickly as it had come, as Alastor regained the composure that had briefly slipped from him.

"I'm not avoiding you, my dear. I just want some peace and silence at the moment. A lot has happened..."

"Indeed it has and I don't want to force you into anything either, it's just that we find your behavior a little weird."

"Oh please, Charlie. My behavior is not weirder than usual."

That actually made her giggle a little and she could see his grin widen as well. But when she took a closer look at him, the mirth quickly faded when she noticed the small drops of blood on his coat. They were barely visible on the red fabric, but Charlie could still see them.

"And what about that then?" she immediately asked, pointing her finger at the small stains on his side. Alastor followed her gaze and the sound of radio static filled the air again; louder this time.

"That's nothing..."

"That's blood, Al. Your blood, isn't it? Come on. You can stop the show now. I've been able to see for days that you're not well and that's why you're hiding in your room, isn't it?"

"Now this is just a ridiculous assumption, my dear. I'm doing just fine."

"Oh really? And where is all this blood coming from?"

"Let me put it this way: Not everything went according to plan during my confrontation with Adam. Let's leave it at that, shall we?"

"Leave it at that? Oh no, Al. Radio Demon or not, we're not going to leave it at that. How bad is your injury?"

"Charlie, really, that's not necessary. I'm coping very well, so there's nothing to worry about."

"So you're admitting you've been hurt?"

His prominent grin looked increasingly more forced now, as Charlie seemed to be pressing all the right buttons. Alastor could act all powerful and indifferent, but he had a hard time hiding his pain from her and he knew how stubborn the Princess of Hell could be, once she got something into her head.

In the end, he simply resigned himself to his fate, because he knew that he couldn’t fight against her stubbornness. At least as far as his pride would allow it.

"All right, I admit it: Adam hurt me when we were fighting. But I took care of the wound. It's really nothing to worry about, Charlie."

"Show me your wound."

"I beg your pardon?"

"You heard me."

"That's really not necessary."

The scowl Charlie gave him made him raise an eyebrow and a resigned sigh escaped the depths of his throat, as the princess folded her arms in front of her chest and stared at him, until he finally gave up.

Wordlessly, he took off his coat and began to unbutton his shirt.

A startled gasp filled the air, coming from Charlie, as she saw the extent of his injury. The wound was across his chest and Alastor seemed to have stitched it up himself, as it was half healed but still looked bad. Blood was still sticking to the skin and the wound looked as if it was about to become infected.

"That looks terrible! Why didn't you tell any of us?"

"Because a powerful Overlord like me can handle it quite well on his own. That's why."

"Oh yeah, I can totally see that. This wound looks horrible, Al!"

"Nothing I can't handle, my dear."

The moment those words left his throat, pain ripped through his body like a bolt of lightning, making him gasp and the usually powerful Radio Demon slumped back into his pillows, shutting his eyes close and gritting his teeth so hard it hurt just to watch.

Charlie shuddered, as she had never seen Alastor like this before and she was sure she was the first to see the Deer Demon so weak. And apparently he shared her thoughts, because the next thing she saw was how his eyes turned black and his pupils turned into radio dials. His antlers also grew a little. A clear warning for her and that she should better keep her mouth shut about his condition.

"Calm down, Al. I'm not going to tell anyone about this, so stop with this nonsense."

Only slowly did he relax again. His eyes returned to their original shape and his antlers shrank back to their normal size and another resigned sigh left his throat. And it was the first time in her life that Charlie saw the grin on his face begin to fade and he shamefully turned his head away from her, avoiding eye contact. She knew how prideful he was and she also knew how uncomfortable it must have been for him that she could see him so weak now.

Carefully, she reached her hand out for him and when she touched his shoulder, he flinched hard.

"We all have a bad day, Al. You really don't need to be embarrassed about that. And I promise you I won't tell a single soul about this, okay?"

A weak nod was the only answer she got from him.

"How about I help you with your wound and clean it? And maybe it would be better if we bandaged it, so it doesn't open up again? Only if you allow me to, of course. I know how uncomfortable you are when others touch you."

"It's all right, Charlie. I'll give you permission to do so. But please...make it quick..."

He continued to look away from her, not even looking up when she silently got up from his bed and disappeared briefly into his small bathroom, where she gathered everything she would need in a moment. At that moment, she was also quite glad that they had decided to put a first aid kit in every bathroom of the hotel, just in case of an emergency. She almost grinned at these thoughts, but stopped herself at the last moment. Alastor was in a bad enough situation as it was, so it wasn't appropriate for her to make him feel like she was making fun of him.

When she returned, Alastor was lying comfortably on his bed, eyeing the bowl of water and the washcloth suspiciously, as Charlie placed it on the bedside table and put the bandages next to it, before she sat down next to him.

"It'll probably hurt a bit. I'm afraid I can't avoid that."

"Oh please, as if a ridiculous washcloth could cause me pain."

And again, the young woman felt the urge to roll her eyes. But she said nothing, instead dipping the washcloth into the warm water and then slowly guiding it to its destination. Before she touched his skin, however, she searched his eyes again for his consent, which he gave her with a small nod.

She cleaned the wound very carefully and saw out of the corner of her eye how he turned his face away from her again and how his claws dug into the bedsheets at the same time. So much for the fact that a "ridiculous washcloth" couldn't cause him any pain. His body said something completely different right now. But she ignored this and carried on in silence, as she wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible.

As she carefully washed out his wound, her mind drifted off and she could hardly believe what she was doing here. Just a few months ago, she wouldn't have dared to go near the dreaded Radio Demon and now he was lying here like a little heap of misery and she was tending to the wounds he had sustained from the battle he had fought for this hotel. Her life truly couldn't get any crazier...

She was rudely torn from her thoughts, when the body under her hand jerked violently and she immediately paused in all her movements and concentrated fully on Alastor again, looking at him with concern in her eyes. But he didn't return her gaze, continuing to keep it averted from her, but she could see that his broad grin was back on his face. But it looked different than usual. No longer as forced and if she looked closely, she thought she could see his shoulders trembling slightly, but that could have been her imagination. As he had his eyes still closed, he couldn't see her questioning look and he probably didn't want to, as the whole thing was embarrassing enough for him as it was.

"Al? Is everything all right with you? Did I hurt you?" she asked with a hint of worry in her voice, but he just shook his head silently, keeping his eyes closed and his face turned away from her.

“Are you sure about that?”

A nod was the only answer he gave her.

She watched his face for a few more seconds, before deciding to carry on with her task. She dipped the cloth in the water again, wrung it out and then led it back to the spot she had just worked on. She had already removed the blood from his chest and was now taking care of the smaller bloodstains she could see on his ribcage, but as soon as she touched this area, the body stiffened visibly under her hand. The claws dug into the sheets again and it seemed to her that Alastor was trying really hard to hide his face from her.

"Are you really all right?" she asked, glancing briefly at his face, but again the answer was only a small nod and she began to worry about him. Was his pride really so great that he didn't even want to admit to her that he was in pain?

For hell’s sake! Overlords... they really could be more than exhausting in their behavior...

"Hang in there, Al. I am almost done," she murmured softly and she ran the washcloth over his skin again. Once again the sound of radio static filled the air and at the same time it seemed as if his whole body began to shake. And the longer she ran the washcloth over his ribs, the tighter his arm pressed against his body, until he trapped her hand underneath.

Charlie was already opening her mouth to say something, but the words wouldn't pass her lips when she looked into Alastor's face again. His grin was just about to split his face in half and the initial radio static turned into a soft giggle and then, finally, it made click inside her head and her own lips threatened to twist into a broad grin.

"Oh my. It looks like I've got a rather ticklish patient here, hm?"

She simply couldn't resist teasing him a little, after realization hit her. Just knowing that Alastor, one of the most powerful and feared demons in hell, was ticklish was like pure gold in her eyes. The fact that her teasing words were making him blush was just the cherry on top of the cake and she couldn't help but join in his giggles.

"I-I'm not... ticklish!" he pressed out between clenched teeth and he continued to avoid any eye contact, keeping his eyes closed and pressing his arm even tighter against his body.

"Oh no? You aren’t? Then what's this then?"

She wiggled her fingers as best as she could, grinning as the body beneath her jerked violently again and Alastor tried to turn onto his side. His free hand reached for her arm, his claws closing carefully around her wrist, but he didn't even try to push her hand away from his body, just held it tightly.

Interesting...

"Al?"

There was no answer from him. He just kept turning on his side, slowly turning his back on her, giggling louder and louder as he did so and Charlie noticed that the radio filter he always put over his voice had weakened slightly and revealing parts of his real voice.

Another thing she rarely heard and she had to admit, that his real voice sounded really nice.

"Hey, Al? How about you give me my hand back?"

A shake of the head was the answer she got in response.

"You don't want to?"

Another shake of the head.

"All right, then. I still got a second hand, you know?"

When the fingers of her still free hand touched his ribs as well, it burst out of him like lava from a seething volcano. His laughter sounded so different than usual. It sounded much more carefree, not like a maniac and just...nice? Charlie couldn't describe it any other way. And even though he was still trying to hide his face in his pillow, she could still see enough of it and she liked what she saw. He looked so happy and carefree as he lay there, laughing heartily. She also noticed that he didn't put up much of a fight or try to push her away. He just lay there and laughed. Here and there, his hands grabbed hers when she found a particularly ticklish spot, but she always managed to escape his remarkably light grip and it wasn't long before she felt little tears of laughter in her own eyes. His laughter was contagious and the whole situation was so ridiculous that she couldn't help but laugh along with him.

And if she thought things couldn't get any better, Alastor proved her wrong again when he managed to roll completely onto his side and pulled his legs up to his body in a desperate attempt to protect himself from the sneaky tickle attack, which continued to rain down on him. As Charlie tried to shove her hands under his arms, she noticed movement out of the corner of her eye and when she turned her eyes to Alastor's backside, she couldn't believe what she was seeing and a delightful squeal escaped her throat. Her fingers came to a halt and the otherwise feared Radio Demon took the opportunity to fill his lungs with fresh oxygen again. The faint sound of his giggles was still coming from his throat and he seemed to have blocked out everything around him. At least until he heard Charlie's delighted squeal. His face immediately competed with his coat and he quickly tried to pull his shirt over his now visible deer tail. But it didn't help, because without his coat he couldn't hide it and Charlie had already seen it anyway...

“Ohhh, this is too good, Al. We've already had bets going on whether you have a deer tail or not. It looks so adorable. Please don’t try to hide it from me.”

She heard a muffled growl that Alastor pressed into his pillow, but he didn't look at her, continuing to hide his face. Only his growing antlers showed his resentment. At least until the fingers started wiggling again. The antlers immediately shrank down and a more than loud squeal now left his own throat.

“Now don’t be such a grumpy old stag. I won't tell anyone about this. Promised."

“W-why don’t I belihihihieve you, deahahahar?”

“Wow, now look at that: it can talk after all~.”

“Chahahaharlie pleahahahase…”

"Please what? Please go on? With the greatest pleasure~.”

The body beneath her was now convulsing with laughter, as she tried to attack his stomach with one hand. The other one was still stuck under his arm and it didn't take long before she was literally tickling the tears from his eyes. But not once did he beg her to stop. He just lay there and let it happen, even though he could have gotten out of the situation at any time. But apparently he didn't want this at all...

And she was laughing herself at this funny situation and it didn't get any better when she saw how his tail started wagging. This was by far the funniest sight she had ever seen down here in Hell.

At that moment she was also glad that her father was no longer in the hotel, because he had to be with her girlfriend Vaggie by now. It's hard to imagine what kind of uproar there would be in the hotel if her father, of all people, found out that Alastor was ticklish and had a deer tail. It wouldn't be long before the whole hotel knew. She knew her father well enough and knew that he would take advantage of any opportunity to bully Alastor.

Well, it was also a good thing that Alastor didn't know that even the great King of Hell wasn't immune to tickling himself...

She was startled out of her thoughts, when Alastor started hitting his hand against the mattress over and over again.

"Chahaharlie...d-dear...p-pleahahahase...enough!"

She immediately let go of him and scooted away from him a little to give him enough space to turn back onto his back and stretch his legs out.

“I am so sorry, Al. I didn’t want to overdo it.”

She looked at him apologetically, as he wiped a few tears from his eyes, before directing them back at her. His cheeks were still slightly flushed, which wasn't just due to the tickle attack, but Charlie didn't say anything about it so as not to embarrass him any further.

“I-it’s okay. But please…tell me you’re finally done with tending my wound.”

She couldn't help but giggle as she listened to his voice. He tried to let his radio filter flow back into his voice again and failed miserably at that. She could actually be proud of herself, because not everyone could claim to have defeated a powerful Overlord of hell and then it was the feared Radio Demon himself that she had defeated.

"I just have to put the bandage on and you're done," she answered his question and her lips curled into a small grin again when he growled softly at her. But he said nothing more about it and just resign himself to his fate. At least he had managed to get his cheeks back to normal color.

But she could see that it was enough with the teasing and so she put the bandage on him without incident and then took the remaining utensils back to the bathroom.

When she returned, Alastor was sitting on his bed. He had buttoned his shirt again and pulled his coat over it, which prevented her from seeing his black/red deer tail. But Charlie was sure that there would definitely be another opportunity to see it in the future.

“I would be finished then and leave you alone. Do you need anything else, Al?”

A slight shiver ran down her spine when she saw that mischievous sparkle in his red eyes and it didn't get any better when he motioned for her to come over to him again, which she did reluctantly. She knew she had to be vigilant, because she couldn't forget who she was dealing with here. As funny as the whole situation had been, she knew the monster he could be if he wanted to. But she trusted him and secretly she also knew that he would never hurt her, so she sat back at his side and looked at him questioningly.

As quickly as he pulled her into his arms, she couldn't even look and within seconds she was lying in his arms, with her back turned to him. A tingling of anticipation spread in her stomach, which already made her giggle and she thought she could feel his wide grin in the back of her neck. Her hands clutched his wrists, as he placed his claws flat on her stomach and drummed his fingers ever so gently against the fabric of her shirt, as a slight foretelling of what was about to happen to her.

"Al! Whahahat are you doihihihing??"

Her giggles grew louder as the claws began to wiggle gently into her shirt and she tried everything to push them off her stomach. But she couldn't do it and soon she threw her head back in laughter, pressing it firmly into his shoulder and gave in to her merriment, as she was being tickled a second time that day. She felt his breath tickle her ear, eliciting a sweet squeak from her and she tried to turn her head away from him, but he followed her every move, never stopping with the playful attack.

"Just a little warning about what will happen, if what you saw here today leaves the walls of this room, my dear," he whispered teasingly into her ear and he couldn't help but chuckle softly, as a loud squeal escaped her throat once again and at the same time she slipped out of his arms and fell into the soft bedsheets next to him. His wiggling claws chased after her and soon her loud, joyous laughter echoed throughout the room, as he didn't stop the playful tickle attack.

“Al! Nohohoho! Pleahahahase s-stop thahahat! I g-got it! Ahhh! pleahahahase, I gohohohohot it! I wohohon’t t-tell anyohohohone!” she pressed out between fits of laughter as she wrestled with his hands and quickly found out that he wasn't as weak as he had pretended to be.

“I just want to make sure the lesson gets through, Charlie. Because if you break your promise, the two of us will quickly find ourselves in my radio tower and then you can explain to my listeners what's so funny when you go live with me on the air."

That thought, along with the playfulness in his voice, was enough to make her laugh so hard that tears appeared to her eyes and it didn't get any better when he joined in her laughter.

Was he really serious about his threat?

Charlie sure didn't want to find out, because she had learned one thing today: It was a wise decision not to mess with the Radio Demon.

But these playful interactions, combined with the cheerful laughter that resulted in it, was exactly what they both needed after everything that had happened.

In the end, laughter was still the best medicine.

Or, as Alastor always used to say:

You are never fully dressed without a smile

So good! 😊😍

Entertaining enough?

Entertaining Enough?

Summary: Sequel to my first Hazbin Hotel fic "To help a deer friend". Since Alastor seems to feel much better, he loves to mess around with her dad, the king of hell himself and also her father is having a blast, fighting against Alastor whenever these two meet each other. A situation that slowly becomes too much for Charlie and it's about time for her to put a stop to this endless seeming brawling. And she knows exactly how. But she quickly gets to know that it's never a good idea to mess with the Radio Demon himself…

Warnings: This story contains lots and lots of innocent, fluffy SFW tickling, so if you don't like this, then please don't read this, thank you. Also a little OOC warning here. I always try to stay in character while writing, but I can't make promises that it stays that way during the story. And since I am NOT a shipper, this is pure platonic fluff, even if it might gets a tiny bit into the "charlastor" direction in the end. It's still platonic ;) And since I translated this from german into english, there might be some grammatical errors. Just saying. You have been warned ;).

Word count: 5700

Authors note: I've had so much fun with writing this story and I hope you will have as much fun reading it. I don't know if I will write another Hazbin Hotel story after this one, because my head is totally empty now when it comes to ideas. If someone wants to give me ideas, I am all in for it (can't promise to write it though). PS: I've got some "fun facts" after this story, so make sure to check them out :3.

BTW: I like to refer to Alastor as a Wendigo, because he totally looks like one to me when he shows his demonic form ("Stayed gone" for example).

Entertaining enough?

A loud thump cut through the quiet of the Hazbin Hotel that day and Charlie could only sit there and shake her head in bewilderment, as she watched her father and Alastor having another fight going on.

It had been nice at first that Alastor finally dared to come out of his room after everything that had happened to him, but for it to end in something like this? As soon as the deer demon heard her father, his whole mood changed to something sadistic and when the two of them finally met...well, she could see in what that ended...

Angel Dust and Husker had already left the hotel lobby and Vaggie also seemed to find it extremely alarming to have to watch two of hell’s most powerful beings having another fight. Only Niffty seemed to find it extremely amusing, considering that she was laughing like a maniac at them and their antics.

"Nice antlers, Bambi! But can they keep up with these?" Charlie heard her father yell across the lobby, as he revealed his six wings with a huge and taunting grin on his face and he rose gracefully into the air, looking down at Alastor, who looked like he was about to explode at any moment. Pure hatred was written in his now almost black eyes and with every further teasing word from Lucifer, his antlers grew and his ears pulled back so far that they were already close to his skull. And not only that, because his body was also changing more and more. His limbs grew longer and he grew taller, as he transformed into his demonic form.

"Alastor! Not in here!" shouted Charlie, as it finally just got too much for her to handle, fearing they would tear her entire hotel apart in the next few moments if she didn't intervene.

One of his ears shot up in the direction where Charlie's voice had come from and that was what seemed to snap Alastor out of his rising rage, as his head followed his ear to look at her.

The young princess had risen from her place on the sofa and now stood in front of him with her arms crossed in front of her chest, looking up at him accusingly, before her eyes turned to her father, who was still hovering in the air in front of Alastor and now flinched himself when he saw his daughter's scowl.

"If you carry on like this, you'll destroy my lobby! Stop this shit already! You're behaving worse than little children!" she growled.

And that finally brought the two brawlers back to their senses, as Alastor shrank back to his normal size and Lucifer calmed down also, as he slowly glided to the ground and hid his wings again. However, Charlie could still see the two of them glaring at each other and yes, this childlike behavior was really getting onto her nerves now.

She didn't even understand the beef between these two in the first place...

"Okay, okay, calm down, little apple. We'll stop already. I've got things to do anyway."

The fallen angel turned his eyes back to Alastor and gave him a sneaky grin.

"Don't think it's over yet. This is just a break. We'll sort this out another time...Bambi~."

"DAD!" Charlie shouted after him, as the angel turned around and walked away, laughing.

When she turned her eyes to Alastor, he was still standing there with his arms crossed behind his back, his broad, significant grin back on his face and looking as if nothing had happened. Only his pinned back ears still bore witness to his displeasure.

"Really, Alastor, did you have to do that?"

The Radio Demon’s grin widened, as he relaxed, put his ears back up and straightened his bowtie.

"But that's what I'm here for, my dear: entertainment. And I have to say that it was more than entertaining. If you don't mind, your Highness, I would now get back to my room and rest a bit."

Without saying another word, or giving her another glance, Alastor strode off in the direction of his room.

As soon as he was gone, everyone visibly relaxed; only Charlie was still standing in the same spot, gritting her teeth with frustration.

"Entertainment he said...I'll show him entertainment!" she grumbled.

"I wouldn't mess with him if I were you, babe. Don't forget who he is," Vaggie said, who had moved to stand next to her girlfriend and placed a hand on her shoulder, which Charlie squeezed affectionately with hers.

"Oh, I know who he is and what a monster he can be, when he wants to. But he doesn't scare me."

Charlie's lips twisted into a wide grin, as she looked at her girlfriend and something shone in her eyes that Vaggie wasn't able to judge and maybe it was better if she stayed out of the whole thing, because she definitely didn't want to mess with the dreaded Radio Demon.

Unlike Charlie, which her next words confirmed:

"But every monster can be tamed..."

The young princess allowed a few hours to pass, so that everyone could calm down and, in fact, everyone went about their usual daily routine again in the evening.

Angel was flirting shamelessly with Husk at the bar, making the cat demon grumble and roll his eyes at his antics, trying to ignore him. Niffty was laughing maniacally, as she chased after cockroaches and Vaggie was sitting with Lucifer on one of the sofas in the lobby and the two angels seemed to be chatting animatedly. It was a sight that warmed Charlie's heart to the core and she was so happy that her father seemed to welcome Vaggie so warmly into the Morningstar family.

The only one who didn't show up was Alastor and Charlie knew why, because the Radio Demon was still struggling with the wound on his chest. He rarely came out of his room and when he did...well, she had seen what happened earlier and she couldn't help but grit her teeth again, as the memories of the afternoon came flooding back to her.

The urge to demonstrate his power seemed to have grown stronger in Alastor since he had lost to Adam and who, if not the King of Hell himself, was the perfect rival for his ego? At least that was the only explanation Charlie had for this childish behavior. In the end, she didn't care. She just wanted them to finally get along and not piss on each other every day. A thought that made her grin and she decided to pay Alastor a little visit. She had been tending to his wound for weeks, even if it still made him uncomfortable, but she knew that he was secretly grateful for the gesture and that he had started to trust her and Charlie was sure that he even enjoyed her company. Even if he didn't show it directly. His pride was simply too big for that.

A thought, that made her roll her eyes, as she made her way to his room. However, she wasn't just going to tend to his wound today, because it was time to tame this crazy Wendigo and she already knew exactly how to do it. No matter what the consequences would be. Alastor's last "threat" still echoed in her ears and she shuddered slightly whenever she remembered it. But today, she didn't care about that threat at all. Even if she could hardly call it a threat when he said he would take her to his radio tower and broadcast her laughter live.

Well, better laughter than screams of pain...

A thought, that made her grin slightly again. Alastor could be really silly when she was alone with him. A side, which she liked about him and a side that probably no one else got to see and she had promised him to keep this information to herself, knowing he wanted to keep his reputation as the dreaded Radio Demon everyone in hell should fear by the mere mention of his name.

But that didn’t mean that she would stop teasing him when she was alone with him.

Alastor wanted to be entertained?

Well, he could have that...

"Al? It's me, Charlie. Can I come in?"

"The door is open, my dear."

When Charlie entered the room and closed the door behind her, she found the deer demon sitting on his bed. He had already removed his coat and had unbuttoned his shirt, knowing why she had come to him this evening.

Over the last few weeks, he had become accustomed to her regular visits to tend to his wound, even if it still made him slightly uncomfortable. But it had to be done. Either he let Charlie take care of him, or he would have to go to Rosie and before he showed his weakness to another Overlord, he'd rather let Charlie see him like this. She was far too soft to use that weakness against him anyway. Not that he didn't trust Rosie, but he would be extremely uncomfortable if she knew about his failure at the last extermination. Besides, over the months, he'd been staying here at the hotel, he'd taken Charlie and perhaps the rest of the gang, with the exception of Lucifer, into his not-so-cold heart. Of course, he would never admit that aloud. Not even under the most horrible torture hell had to offer...

But as much as he liked Charlie, he still loved to mess with her a little every now and then. Her scowl had not escaped his notice when she had entered his room and his grin widened, as she wordlessly sat down next to him and glared at him from the side. The afternoon's incident was apparently still bothering her. Perfect. This was exactly the kind of entertainment he had been looking for, since he had moved in to the hotel.

But he stayed quiet and just let Charlie do her thing, when she motioned for him to sit still, while she took off his bandage to examine his wound.

"Your wound looks fine. I don't think you need another bandage. It's pretty much healed. Are you still in pain?"

"No. Everything's fine."

Actually, he expected her to wish him a good evening and leave him alone, after she had disposed of the old bandage in the bin. But she sat back down at his side, while he was buttoning up his shirt again.

"Is something still on your mind, my dear?" he asked as calmly as ever. Deep down he already knew the answer to his own question.

"I don't think I need to answer that question."

His grin turned slightly malicious, when she gritted her teeth and he could see very clearly in her eyes that she was still slightly pissed.

"If this is about what happened this afternoon, I can only tell you one thing, Charlie: your father and I just had a little argument. Nothing big."

"Just a little argument? Alastor, you two were just about to tear half the hotel apart!"

"But nothing like that happened."

"But it will happen one day if you two don't get your act together!" she growled and Alastor was amazed at the courage the young princess showed towards him. Few had ever dared to talk to him like that and those who had dared...well, his radio broadcast had gained a few new voices on days like this...

"Then you should tell your father to stop provoking me."

"Maybe you should stop being provoked!"

"How could I stop when the end result is always so entertaining?"

A growl cut through the air.

"You're both like two little kids who only cause trouble when they bump into each other, you know that?!"

And apparently she had struck a nerve, because the lights in the room flickered briefly and the sound of radio static could be heard. Alastor's eyes went black and the typical radio dials, that he always showed when he got angry, appeared in his pupils. His antlers also began to grow, as he stood up and build himself up in front of Charlie, but the young princess didn't back away an inch from him, just looked at him with narrowed eyes and her arms crossed in front of her chest.

"Who's a little kid here, my dear?" the taller Demon growled darkly, as he continued to stare Charlie down, trying to intimidate her. But he didn't succeed, because Charlie now also stood up from the bed, build herself up in front of him as good as she could and looked him firmly in the eyes.

"You! At least you're acting like one right now!"

"Oh really? Am I?"

"Yes!"

"And since when is the Princess of Hell scared of a kid?"

"I'm not scared of you!"

"No? Aren't you? Then why are you backing away from me, my dear?"

Only now did Charlie realize that her body had begun to tremble and that she was actually backing away from him, as he slowly followed her movements. Soon she felt the edge of the bed behind her knees and seconds later, she was lying in his sheets, Alastor towering over her and yes, the sight sent shiver after shiver down her spine. Even though she knew that he would never dare to hurt her, especially not while her father was in the hotel, she couldn't help but shiver when she looked into his eyes. And at that moment, she could well imagine the fear all his victims must have felt, if that was the last thing they had seen before their gruesome deaths...

"Al, don't do anything you'll regret later..." she tried to talk herself out of the situation and she raised her hands placatingly, as he leaned over her and raised his hands as well, presenting his claws to her. The sight was enough to make her stomach flutter nervously, almost forcing her lips into a grin, which she barely managed to suppress. She already suspected what he was about to do to her and she tried to protect herself from the impending attack. Even though she secretly knew that she had no real chance against him in a fight; no matter what kind of fight it would be.

"The only one here, who has done something she now regrets, is you, my dear. Have you forgotten my warning about what happens when you mess with the Radio Demon? That's what happens!"

During his last words, his hands shot forward and he shoved them under Charlie's arms, when he got onto the bed himself. The young woman had no chance to resist, let alone protect herself from his sudden attack. As she pressed her arms tightly against her body, she only trapped Alastor's hands underneath and it was only a few seconds, before her surprised shriek turned into loud and cheerful laughter, as he started tickling her.

"If you call me a little kid, then I'll act like one, if that's what you want me to do."

His teasing words didn't make it any better, only worse and soon Charlie was rolling from side to side, laughing and squealing with pure mirth, trying to kick at him, to push his hands from her body, but she could do neither, could only lie there and laugh, laugh, laugh. And Alastor also joined in her laughter, albeit with a slightly more sadistic undertone in his voice.

"Do you remember the little warning I gave you a few weeks ago? My radio tower is right next door, you know? The two of us can go on the air now, Charlie~. I am sure this is going to be a very entertaining broadcast for my listeners. And for me too, of course."

His teasing words made her laugh even louder and her efforts to free herself from his ticklish grip redoubled, which he noted with great amusement.

"You're so easily flustered, my dear. You tell me I'm easily provoked and look what's happened to you now: you're lying here under me, laughing your head off and all because of a few words of mine and some wiggling claws. Isn’t that just adorable~?”"

The amusement was clear in his voice and when Charlie managed to open one of her eyes and look at him, she was relieved to see that he looked the same as always. His eyes were back to normal, his antlers had shrunk and his grin reflected the amusement she had just heard in his voice. And that showed her that he wasn't really angry with her, that he was just messing around with her and that he was enjoying the whole thing and had fun. She also had fun messing around with him like this, but it wasn't going according to plan. He was supposed to be lying here, laughing and not her. She just had to hang in there and wait for him to let his guard down, so she could fight back.

"Al, pleahahahase! Stohohohohop it! Not there!!" she squealed, as his claws carefully attacked her belly. Laughing, she grabbed his wrists and tried to push them away from the attacked area, but she just couldn't do it.

"Oho, what's that? Did I find your weak spot there~?"

She didn't answer, but the blush on her cheeks told him all he needed to know and his grin grew so wide it nearly split his face in half.

"If you apologize to me for calling me a kid, then I would be quite inclined to stop."

"Y-you should apologize to me!" Charlie squeezed out between fits of laughter, as she continued to try and fend off his hands.

"And for what exactly?"

"You know whahahahat!"

The tickle attack stopped and Charlie let her body fall back into the bed sheets, still giggling, and wiping a tear from the corner of her eye.

Alastor's hands were still lying on her belly and here and there he curled his fingers briefly to keep her in a fit of giggles, letting her know it wasn't over yet.

"You want an apology from me?" he asked with great mischief in his voice.

She looked at him with a silly grin and nodded her head. A strong shiver ran through her entire body when she saw that ominous glint in his eyes, which he gave her in response and his claws slowly pulled her shirt off her belly.

"Fine. Here's your apology..."

His head rushed downwards and a loud, mirthful scream erupted from Charlie's throat, followed shortly after by equally loud laughter, as Alastor pressed his mouth against her belly and blew a big raspberry into her skin; just like his beloved mother had done to him when he had been a kid.

But the resulting loud laughter from Charlie got interrupted a few seconds later by a yelp from Alastor, as the young princess tried to fight back.

"Ow, Charlie! Stop that! That hurts!" he growled into her stomach, as the young princess pulled at his ear, while laughing her heart out and it was just the distraction Charlie had been waiting for to turn the tables on him.

She wriggled out of his grasp and immediately went for a counterattack, when she let go of his ear and when she saw how Alastor let his guard down for a second, as he sat up and rubbed his ear, grumbling.

As her fingers pressed into his ribs, it was now his loud shriek that echoed throughout the room and Charlie was really glad that his room was so far away from the hotel lobby and that no one else was aware of what was happening here.

She attacked him in one of his most sensitive areas and managed to push him into his pillow. Laughing, he rolled onto his side, pulled his legs close to his body and grabbed her hands, trying to push them away, as she attacked his sides and belly with wiggling fingers. At least he only gave the appearance of trying. In reality, he could have freed himself with ease, but who said that he wanted to?

One look at his wagging tail was all Charlie needed to know and that Alastor was having as much fun with this silly situation as she was. It was rare to see him like this, to see him with a genuine smile on his face and she knew that she was probably the only person in all of hell so far that he allowed to see him like this and to do something like this at all. It was nice to see how much he had started to trust her and that he let go every now and then…

The sound of radio static snapped her out of her thoughts and she grinned, as he slowly rolled onto his stomach and quickly hid his face in his pillow. He still seemed to feel embarrassed that she could see him like this. Something, that would probably never change. But she was fine with it. Just to hear him laughing like this and to know that she had the feared and usually terrifying Radio Demon at her mercy was enough reward for her.

"Look at you, Al. Where'd that big bad Radio Demon go all of a sudden, hm? I can't see him right now~," she teased, straddling his back and shoving her hands under his shirt, attacking his slightly protruding ribs with her thumbs and rubbing slow circles on the bones, which made his whole body jump. She could hear him drumming his legs against the mattress and the sound of microphone feedback briefly filled the air.

"And to come back to your offer from earlier: Of course we can go to your radio tower, because I'm sure your listeners would be very interested to know that the terrifying Radio Demon can be brought to his knees with a little tickling. Voxtech would certainly make a special broadcast about it too..."

Once again, the sound of microphone feedback mingled with his laughter and his entire body tensed, his antlers grew a little bit for a second or two and he actually managed to growl briefly into his pillow, as Charlie uttered these words.

"Apparently I struck a nerve there, huh? Like this one~."

Her fingers moved from his ribs to his armpits and as she curled her fingers, he bucked under her like a wild horse and his claws were about to tear his pillow apart.

“Heh, bad spot, Al? How adorable~.”

"Y-you're messing with the wrong Demon, Chahahaharlie!" he pressed out, but his continued fit of laughter took any venom from his words. Still, he could feel his cheeks catching fire at her teasing words.

"And you're messing with the Princess of Hell, don’t forget that!" she growled playfully, her fingers pressing a little deeper into his armpits. The barking sound of a deer came out of his mouth, followed by a loud snort, which he would deny later and Charlie thought she would explode with laughter herself at this. Especially when he pressed his now bright red face as deep as he could into his pillow to muffle any other embarrassing sounds that might come out of his mouth.

“The fuck was that, Al?” she asked, highly amused. Muffled laughter was the only answer she got to her question, as she went from tickling under his arms, to gently kneading his ribcage. He pressed his arms even tighter against his body, as he started squirming like a worm on a hook underneath her nimble fingers.

A glance backwards showed her, however, that he was still enjoying this silly game, because his tail was still lively wagging.

Good, then she could keep going…

"Last time I showed you mercy, because you were hurt, but now your wounds have healed and now there's no mercy from me. You keep messing with my Dad all day long and then you mess with me and you think there are no consequences? Radio Demon or not, but I will get an apology from you and you will promise me that you will get your act together when it comes to messing with my Dad, do we understand each other, Alastor?"

Her words still had a playful undertone, but Alastor realized that she was serious and that she was still upset about what had happened this afternoon. But his pride simply wouldn’t allow him to give in to such a childish game. But slowly he realized that his body was working against him. He could have simply merged with the shadows, but then he would only show Charlie that he was too weak to endure such a silly game. No, he just had to lie there and endure it, then Charlie would get bored and she would surely stop...

"AHHHH! CHAHAHAHARLIE!!! NOT THEHEHEHERE!"

The loud scream, that came out of his throat, shocked not only Charlie, but Alastor himself. The tickle attack stopped for a moment, but he didn't stop giggling into his pillow, as one of Charlie's hands was still placed on his ear.

"Now don't tell me that the weak spot of the terrifying Radio Demon is his ears?"

He didn't answer her, just clutched the pillow with both arms and couldn't stop giggling and that was all Charlie needed to know.

"No way!" she remarked with a grin and she slowly shoved her fingertips under the soft fur of his ears and gently scratched the sensitive skin underneath with her fingernails.

Immediately the attacked ear flicked, his whole body jumped and the sound of radio static immediately swelled in the air again, before all the gates opened for a fit of laughter of epic proportions.

The princess was now having serious trouble staying seated on his back, as he squirmed wildly underneath her, trying to escape her fingers, as she also added her second hand to the game, now tickling both ears simultaneously.

“Chahahaharlie nohohohoho! D-don’t do thahahahahat! Stohohohop thihihis right nohohow!” he demanded through his loud laughter, but his plea fell on deaf ears.

She joined in his loud laughter, as this situation was just too funny. The big, bad Radio Demon was lying beneath her and was no longer as terrifying as everyone always said. Instead, he looked like a little child, convulsing with laughter beneath her and his radio filter disappeared from his voice, revealing his real voice and the sweet sounds of his genuine laughter soon filled the entire room. His hands came out from under the pillow and reached for hers and Charlie realized that he was now really trying to push her away. Apparently the little Wendigo couldn't stand having his cute ears tickled. A thought that made Charlie grin broadly and she tried everything to keep her hands where they were.

"Stohohohop it! Chahahahaharlie, PLEAHAHAHASE!!"

Wow, who could claim to be able to make a big bad and terrifying Overlord beg for mercy?

Charlie couldn’t help but being proud of herself now.

"You know what you have to do to make me stop," she said teasingly and she didn't relent, continuing to tickle him mercilessly.

"O-okay, okahahahay! Fine! I give up! I-I'm sohohohohorry!"

"Sorry for what?"

"Th-thahahahat I keep messing with your dahahad! I'll stop it, I prohohohomise!"

Charlie knew that this was a clear lie, because in the end the two of them would somehow end up fighting again anyway. Although perhaps not like today, but they would come up with something else for sure.

Maybe she should have a serious talk with her father as well after this...

"Hm, all right, but you better stick to your promise. You know what happens if you break it."

"Yes, I knohohohohow! Now stohohohop ihihihit, pleahahahase!"

"Hmm, there's still your threat, involving a trip into your radio tower. Do you remember that?"

"I-I tahahahake it bahahahack! I r-really do! Please, Chahahaharlie! Stop it! Thihihihis is t-too muhuhuhch!" he pressed out through his laughter, while one of his hand was hitting the mattress over and over again, as if he was tapping out.

She laughed in amusement and finally her fingers came to a halt, as she took pity on him and Alastor's body dropped back into the sheets, leaving him a panting and still giggling mess.

"Then we have a deal. You better stick to it, because if you don’t..."

She squeezed his sides briefly to give her words more power and immediately the body beneath her jerked sharply and a loud squeal cut the air, as his hands reached back and shoved hers away.

"I'll stick to it! Really, Charlie, I promise!"

"Good, you know what happens otherwise," she teased him, as she swung herself off his back and sat down next to him.

Still keeping his face hidden in his pillow, he giggled softly to himself, as the tingling sensation of aftershock tickles still tormented his nerves. It took him a few moments to regain his composure, even longer to get his facial color back to normal and only then did he dare to roll back onto his back.

Charlie couldn't help but giggle herself, as he wiped a few tears out of his eyes, before glaring playfully at her.

"What?" she asked as innocently as possible, which elicited a grumble from him.

"How come every time you come into my room, something like this happens?" he asked and Charlie noted that his radio filter was covering his voice again.

"Well first off, you started it and secondly, aren't you always looking for entertainment? I mean, that’s why you’ve come into my hotel in the first place, right? And as much as you were laughing, surely that was entertaining enough for you, or am I wrong?"

As hard as he was blushing again, she had hit the bullseye with her words and she couldn't help but chuckle, as he grumbled and turned to the other side, turning his back on her.

“Awww, now look who’s blushing~,” she said with a teasing grin on her lips.

He could act as cold and creepy as he wanted to, but Charlie knew better, knew that he enjoyed these playful moments as much as she did and that he needed them every now and then. Especially after everything that had happened. But she also knew that he would never admit this out loud, but there were still other signs that showed her how much fun he had and which he couldn’t prevent from happening.

Such as…

“I can still see your tail wagging, Al~,” she kept teasing him, eliciting a low growl from him and she giggled with pure mirth, as he tried to pull his shirt over his tail to hide it from her and failed hard at it.

“Now don’t be like that. There is no need to be embarrassed about that.”

No answer from him.

“Al?”

Still nothing.

"You're not mad at me, are you?" she dared to ask with a slightly unpleasant tingling in her stomach and inwardly she hoped that he wasn’t mad at her for real now. If he was, then this wouldn’t take a good end for her…

It took a few moments to get a reaction to her question and Alastor turned his head around enough to look at her out of one eye.

An uncomfortable silence spread through the room and Charlie felt a chill running down her spine, the longer he looked at her like that.

The uncomfortable feeling in her stomach grew stronger, as he rolled back onto his back and finally got up from the bed. Wordlessly, he walked over to his armchair, on which he had placed his red coat before.

Charlie watched him nervously, as he put his coat back on and then gave her his full attention.

"Mad? No, my dear. I'm not mad at you."

Almost immediately, the Princess of Hell relaxed, as these words reached her ears. But she kept her eyes on him. He elegantly adjusted his bowtie, before slowly walking towards her and again there was that nervous flutter in her stomach. She knew how unpredictable he was and even if he was protecting her and the hotel, she should never forget who he really was and how dangerous he could be.

"Al?"

The nervous flutter within her belly grew stronger the closer he got to her. There was something in his eyes that she couldn't quite interpret. Something mischievous sparkled in them and she had to pull herself together not to back away from him again.

"Seriously, Al. What's wrong with you all of a sudden?" she asked him, trying to keep her cool, when he came to a stop right in front of her.

Wordlessly, he slightly bent down to her. One hand on his back, he stretched out the other towards her and the mischievous twinkle in his eyes grew stronger.

"Everything’s fine, my dear. I just want to thank you for taking such good care of me over the last few weeks. Would you be so kind as to lend me your hand for a moment?"

Charlie raised an eyebrow at that, not knowing what this mischievous Wendigo was up to and only slowly, almost shyly, did she hold out her left hand to him, which he took gently in his own.

The young princess could hardly believe what happened next, because when she offered him her hand and he accepted it, he brought it slowly to his mouth and pressed a gentle kiss on the back of her hand, never breaking eye contact while doing so.

Within seconds, Charlie felt like her face was on fire, as she turned bright red.

And it didn't get any better when she saw that broad grin appear on his face again. He was still standing in front of her with his hand in hers and a soft, mischievous laugh escaped his throat, when he saw the deep blush on her face his hand kiss had provoked.

“Look who is blushing now~,” he said teasingly, using her own words against her, which she had used against him earlier.

“Lovely…”

All she could do was covering her face with her hands, as he let go of her and try to block out the highly amused laughter coming from him.

Oh yes, life in the hotel was never boring with Alastor around, that’s for sure...

As promised I got some "fun facts" for you here:

In 2021 I was able to pet an adult male red deer in an animal park. He didn't have any antlers, because his body didn't produce that much testosterone. He was also alone in his enclosure, because the other deers would have bullied him. Since humans had raised him, he was (or rather is) a very friendly stag and he also loves to cuddle with humans. He is always looking for a human that would give him back scratches and on this day, he chosed me.

And I can confirm, that deers can be pretty ticklish, for he really didn't like it when my hands went to the sides of his belly. And the ears...ohhhh, the ears were a total no-go area XD. I tried touching them (because why not?), but they flicked away and when he gave me THE look, I knew I better stop messing with him. But there was one particular spot right behind the ears that made this powerful stag melt. Oh and the shoulder blade area was another one of these spots that made him almost melt. He loved getting gentle scratches there and sometimes it made his tiny tail wag slightly (that was absolutely adorable to watch). His name is "Karlchen" by that way :3. And I hope he is still there the next time I pay this nice park a visit. I am happy to be his personal human back-scratcher again XD

Since Al is pretty much a Deer Demon, I thought it would be amusing to share this with you XD.

I even found an old video of that day and I took two screenshots of me and my big sister, giving him all the attention he was looking for that day (my sister found THE spot behind his ear as you can see XD)

Yeah this was a bad idea.

Rapid footsteps could be heard booming down the hallways of the hotel as Charlie and Angeldust found themselves running for their lives away from one of the most powerful overlords in Hell.

Charlie couldn't quite say what possessed her to get involved with one of Angeldust's pranks, maybe it was boredom or a desire to bond with her friend, but common sense should've told her to back out once Angel named their target.

It was no secret the Radio Demon had a soft spot for his favorite dish which he cooked at the same time each day without fail.

It was also no secret that the demon's oral hygiene was...lacking.

No matter how many times he was informed of this fact, politely or otherwise, Alastor just did not seem to care about keep that particular area clean.

So of course, when the spider demon suggested the two of them mix toothpaste in with the demon's jambalaya, Charlie knew the deal was too hilarious to pass up.

The look on the demon's face when he came back to see that his food had turned blue was priceless.

Yeah, a bad idea, but hilarious nonetheless.

Or it would be until the demon had caught up to them at least.

Neither of them thought the demon would actually hurt them over something like this, seeing as it would hurt his own goals in the long run, but they weren't too keen on finding out what he would do instead.

The pair stopped abruptly at the end of the hallway in front of the only other elevator on that floor. Angeldust crouched and frantically pressed the down button, while Charlie's dumbass was trying to pry the doors open.

"You're seriously telling me you didn't have a better escape plan than just yelling 'Run'?"

"Hey, I didn't actually think we'd make it as far as actually getting into that creep's room. The plan was to at least be able to outrun you but you're a lot faster than I would've thought, Princess." The spider chucked.

The girl's jaw dropped at hearing that. "I thought this stupid prank was a chance for us to bond! You were just going to ditch me to take the fall for your stupid idea?!?!"

The elevator chimed as the doors opened.

"Yeah, pretty much." The spider chuckled as he jumped inside.

Betrayal and a bit of anger filled the girl as her eyes went red and horns grew on top of her head. She grunted as she tackled her friend inside the elevator, doors closing behind her.

Angel grunted as he hit the ground. "Aww, did I make the pretty princess mad? I don't see what the big deal is, whatever that red freak has planned, he'll go a lot easier on you." The demon said as he smiled up at his friend.

"Yeah, well you're gonna wish you'd stayed behind once I'm through with you."

With that, the girl began skittering her fingers rapidly underneath the spider's arms.

Whatever smartass remark Angel was going to say next died in his throat and was replaced with hysterical laughter as his worst spot was targeted.

"aaa-AAH! AHAHA-Charlie! CHARLIHEHEHEHAHA!!! WAHAHAHIT!! Wait- DONT- AHAHAHAA!!!" The spider demon cried out as he began kicking his legs viciously.

Charlie had been meaning to test her friend's sensitivity for a while now. She had seen how small touches and pokes affected her friend from time to time. She'd noticed when Husk began giving quick pinches to the spider's ribs whenever he mad a dirty joke or was becoming too much for the cat to handle. Or when her girlfriend used a pen to poke around the spider's torso whenever she needed to herd him away from something. She especially noticed how Angel's face contorted each time as he fought to suppress his smile. Charlie had been waiting for the longest time to ask the demon about it, or test her theory herself. Y'know... to bond.

So yeah, Angel had this coming for a while now.

So focused on her revenge, neither her or Angel noticed the elevator open to the main floor, where Alastor was waiting patiently for the two of them right outside the entrance.

"Well well well, seems the two little troublemakers have turned on each other already, how fun!" The demon grinned evilly before conjuring up a pair of tentacles to yank the pair out of the elevator.

The two of them yelped as they were dragged from their hiding spot and held midair by the appendages.

Alastor looked the two of them up and down, eye twitching as he did so. "So...it's clear to me that you two heathens are looking for a death sentence, which I am more than happy to provide. But before I get to teaching the two of you a lesson, I am curious who's genius idea it was to mess with the Radio Demon in the first place."

"Mine!" Angel exclaimed proudly. Earning a confused look from Charlie.

"What? He clearly thought my idea was good, obviously I want credit for it." Smug bastard. Alastor did not seem amused with his confession however, Angel's comment actually seeming to have annoyed him even further.

"I thought so." The demon said. "I'd expect this level of childishness from someone like you, although I'm thankful it wasn't of a more perverted nature. However..." He turned his focus to Charlie who was still trying to wriggle her way out of the grip the appendage had around her waist.

"I expected much more from you, Charlie. Why I'd go as far to say I'm disappointed in you."

She felt a pang in her chest at hearing the demon's words.

"No, Alastor...I'm sorry if we upset you. I just thought it would be a bit of harmless fun! And Angel never asks to do anything with me so I got a bit excited. I'm sorry."

A frown quickly replaced Angel's smug grin and he averted his gaze to the floor.

Alastor couldn't help but chuckle at the two of them. "Oh you two are so sweet...it makes me sick. But how could I not accept such a heartfelt apology coming from my favorite hostess?"

The two perked up almost immediately.

"So...we're off the hook?" Angel asked hopefully.

Alastor fiddled with his staff as if bored by this whole conversation. "Well, seeing that neither of you are getting maimed today, I'd say yes...to an extent."

"To an extent?" The princess asked.

"Well I still have to teach the two of you a lesson somehow. No one messes with the Radio Demon and gets away with it." He smiled. "However, I do believe Charlie here has given me a wonderful idea how to do that~"

She looked at him, confused. "What do you mean by-AAAAAAAA!!"

Charlie let out a shriek as she felt something wriggle on the back of her knee. She looked down to see a much smaller tentacle scribbling along the dreaded spot. She began kicking her legs out desperately only to be stopped by two more tentacles holding them in place.

The attack quickly threw the girl into hysterics, the one tentacle already throwing her into a frenzy. Screaming and whipping her head side to side, she pushed and pounded her fists against the appendage retraining her, trying and failing to reach down to stop the offending tentacle that was honing in on her worst spot.

Angeldust couldn't help but laugh at her dramatic reaction. Although, he wasn't too keen on getting his shit wrecked again. Thinking he could use his charm to smooth-talk his way out of this situation, seeing as the demon avoided him like the plague if he could talk dirty enough.

"You guys are full of surprises today, arent'cha?" He said using his little flirtatious tone, knowing it annoyed Alastor to no end. "I'm proud your old ass is finally experimenting, dust nuts. I'm more than happy to help you explore with bondage but I can't say I'm all that into this tickling stuff."

The demon turned to him and grinned evilly. "Oh, good! That's exactly what I was afraid of."

Yeah, bad idea.

Angel's wrists were snatched up by yet another appendage before two more attacked his underarms for the second time that day.

"GAHAHAHAHAHAD OKAY!! OKAY CUHUHUHUT IT OHOHOUT!!"

Angel screamed, trying with all his power to pull his arms down but it was no use, the radio demon had the two of them completely and hopelessly trapped.

Alastor just hummed, pressing a hand to his chin and pretended to think. "Don't think you two have learned your lesson quite yet. Although, I am new to this particular method. Hows about I ask an expert. Oh Charlie~" He turned to the princess again. "Do tell me, how effective would you say is tickling your enemies into submission?"

The poor girl couldn't even get a word out between her screaming fits of laughter. All she could do was shake her head and pound her fists against her restraints as the back of her knee was tickled mercilessly.

"AAHAHAHAHA- STAHAHAAAAAA- ALASTAAAHAHA PLEHEHEHEHE-"

Alastor leaned in with one hand cupping his ear. "What's that? I'm sorry, I couldn't quite understand. I don't speak heathen, after all." He teased. "Angeldust would you mind interpreting?"

Angel began to lose himself in his own fit of hysterics as yet another one of the tentacles found its way to his stomach, scribbling wildly.

Although he was tempted to sprout his extra sets of arms, Angel has been in enough tickle fights with Cherri to know that underneath those arms would be exploited as well and just make the agonizing feeling ten times worse.

It took a lot more work for Angel to reach the same level of hysterics Charlie was currently in. Even with the three tentacles making him laugh his head off, Angel would say he was still holding out better than he normally would. At least compared to Charlie, who wasn't even fully restrained but was still completely losing her mind just from that one spot.

Alastor noticed this as well and seeing as anything more would probably make the poor girl faint, he focused his attention on Angeldust.

"You still feeling smart? Tell me, you still think your little genius idea was worth the trouble?"

The demon conjured up yet another pair of tentacles to poke and prod at his victim before they settled on attacking the demon's thighs instead.

Whatever control Angeldust thought he'd maintained before disappeared immediately. The merciless tickling in three different areas proved too much for him to handle.

"NOOHOHOHO- NO! I DOHOHOHON'T! I'M SORRYHEHEHEHEHE- I PROHOHOMISE IT WON"T HAHAHAPPEN AGAHAHAHAIN!!!"

"Good enough."

And with that, the tickling stopped. The tentacles carefully setting Charlie on the ground and disappearing while Angeldust was unceremoniously dropped midair.

Charlie huffed and hugged her legs to her chest, residual laughter still wracking her body.

Angeldust peeled his face off the ground and tried to recover from the torture as well.

"Well, I certainly hope that little lesson drilled something useful into your skulls. It's almost as if you act like children, you'll be treated as such. Thank you, Charlie for that wonderful new torture tactic." He said smiling down at his victims.

Angeldust huffed and brushed himself off as he finally stood up. "Yeah, yeah. I'm glad you found something that gets your dick hard, just remember that consent is key before you go around fucking people up. I mean look at Charlie, you practically killed her." He said, gesturing to his friend who was still lying on the floor.

The demon let out a short laugh as he looked at the girl. Alastor snapped his fingers and a glass of water appeared beside Charlie's corpse.

"Well this certainly was an entertaining bonding activity." He said, turning to Angeldust once more.

"Just remember, I won't be as forgiving the next time you decide to pull a stunt like this." The demon said, finally before making his way back down the hall.

"If you took care of that rancid breath I wouldn't have too!" Angel shouted.

"Smells better than the musk you track in after one of your little shoots!"

Angeldust flipped the demon off as he watched him disappear down the hallway.

Eh, he's got a point. He thought to himself and looked down at his friend who was still in a fetal position on the floor.

Charlie had finally caught her breath and turned over on her back. Angel crouched down to inspect the damage.

"You alive?" He asked, giving her a soft punch on her arm.

The princess just glared at him and stuck a finger in his face.

"I am never listening to your dumbass again." She declared, earning another laugh from her friend.

"Yeah, that was a bad idea."

....lee!Husk () ler!Vaggie and ler!Charlie?

The others come in at some point idk (adorable sight though)

"Need some help there?" Vaggie laughed at seeing the cat sprawled out on the floor.

Husk yelped at the sudden voice before looking up at the exorcist standing at the side side of the bar. The cat's ear flattened in embarrassment and looked away.

The girl shut the door behind her as she approached him. "How did you even manage to get yourself stuck like this?"

"I was doing a little 'Spring Cleaning." He sighed. "I was sweeping under the shelf and the head of the broom broke off. Honestly, we need more cleaning supplies this thing was ancient."

"And you really thought your beefy arms could reach that and not get stuck?"

"Hey, I did get it!" The cat said before flicking the tool out towards the other.

"Good for you, hun." The exorcist noticed her girlfriend walk into the main living space.

"Hey babe, check this out!"

"Oh come on!" Husk whined as Charlie approached the bar. The princess peeked over the counter and shot her girlfriend a confused look.

"Look who got his arm stuck under the counter." Vaggie laughed. "You think we should call the fire department or something?"

Charlie laughed softly at the other. "Aww, poor thing. Does the kitty cat need our help?"

This was beyond humiliating. The cat thought to himself and banged his head on the floor.

"Yes, please." He groaned in defeat.

Charlie hopped over the counter and crouched down to face the two.

"Oh so you do have manners," The princess smiled. "Where was that a few hours ago during our last conversation? What was that you called me again? A shit-faced wannabe?"

Vaggie gasped dramatically. "Husker, how could you?!" The two girls giggled at eachother.

"For the last time, Princess, Hell or not, you're still not old enough to drink." The cat argued.

Said princess rolled her eyes before shooting an evil smile at the other girl.

"Y'know...Angeldust told us something pretty interesting about you the other day~" Charlie began running her fingers along the cat's arm.

Vaggie perked up, realizing where the other was getting at. "Yeah. Let us in on a secret on how to deal with your scrooge ass."

"Would you two just get me out alre-ADY- Hehehehey!-" The bartender squeaked when fingers began wriggling under his trapped arm.

Husk shot an angry look at the smiling princess. "Don't you even think about IT!- AHAHAHA- QUIT!!!" He shouted, squirming when Vaggie began tickling his sides.

The poor cat twisted and turned as he fought to get away from the absolute children who were wrecking his shit right now. He tried flapping his wings viciously to shoo them away. Unfortunately, this only resulted in each of the two pinning one down before attacking them as well.

Husk wished he could've said he kept his composure, but that would've been a damn lie.

"GET OHOHOHOFF!!! GET OHOHOHAHAHAHA-AAAA THIS ISN'T HEHEHELPING!!!!" Husk screamed and thrashed uselessly against his attackers.

Angel walked into the living space at hearing the commotion, followed by Alastor who had poofed himself beside the bar.

"What the absolute Hell are you guys doing-oh?" Angel laughed as he realized what was going on. The two girls looked up at the others, laughing as they got off their victim.

Alastor looked over the counter as well, looking slightly disappointed. "Yes, I heard screams of torment and got quite excited. My mistake."

The cat gulped in air, beyond embarrassed at this point.

"He got himself stuck." Vaggie explained. Angel nearly fell to the floor laughing so hard.

Alastor gave a small chuckle before snapping his fingers and the cat was suddenly poofed out of the bar beside Angel who caught him before he fell.

"Next time, call the fire department." The Radio Demon said before vanishing.

"You ok?" Vaggie asked when Husker had seemed to catch his breath.

The cat just huffed. "You guys are the worst."
