↳ i’ve been obsessed with reading the fics people have made with the boys and their tsums, they’re all so cute to read! so i made my own, with my fave of course! hope you all enjoy!

♱ ˖° this tsum will wiggle with joy if you give it kisses, hugs, or even just little pats on their head. and just as the true version of itself, it will relish in it. a single kiss is enough to make it snuggle right into your chest or neck, making it known that it wants much more of the affection you have to offer. now, sometimes it will make you work for it’s affection. there are often times you find it, or more like it finds you, and you have to go on a little chase to catch it. but, after you catch it, it will give you many cuddles as a reward! little nose kisses are also a cute thing the tsum gives you, it will jump up just to place a little kiss on your nose! you’ve never really understood why it does this, but then again have you ever really understood why your boyfriend does what he does either?

♱ ˖° lilia finds it adorable you get along so well with his tsum, its love for you does not go unnoticed. and due to that mutual feeling, they often team up to scare or launch a sneak attack of affection on you. however, most often it becomes the latter, which you don’t mind at all. and it always happens at the most unexpected times, for example when you’re hanging out with ace and deuce. the four of you, including grim, will just be having a nice lunch break together in the cafeteria when your boyfriend and his tsum counterpart appear behind you to give your group a light scare. the rest of your group nearly jumped out of their seats, which gave lilia a good laugh. but, the little lilia tsum was quick to hop onto your shoulder and smile with it’s eyes, showing you that it was just a mere joke. your boyfriend was also soon enough teasing you about it, as well as your friends who sat there speechless about the random appearance of the diasomnia dorms vice housewarden. and just before the fae disappears again, a small peck will be placed on your cheek along with a little boop from his tsum. truly, they are the cheekiest duo.

♱ ˖° the three of you also sleep together at night, the little tsum often being between the two of you. this is to quell both the needs of your boyfriend and his tsum, who both lay awake longer than you just to see your cute sleeping face. cuddling with the little tsum in your arms is by far one of the most heart warming sights lilia has seen in his life time, it almost reminds him of a time back when silver was younger. there were a rare few times that the boy would ever have a nightmare, but whenever he needed comforting, lilia was always there. sometimes he would talk with him til his eyes became droopy, or sit with him next to the bed while telling him stories of old until he finally went back to sleep. or even the young child would just crawl into his bed, latching onto the former general like a koala, which reminded him of you now. the feeling was so warm. he feels truly lucky to be able to experience such a love with you in his life time, even if he’s forced to share it with his tsum.

♱ ˖° lilia tends to be rather handsy, he loves to hold you while he kisses you senseless. one hand is almost always on your waist, and the other is holding your face so he can make sure you’re only focused on him. the eye contact he maintains with you holds a lustful undertone, but the cheeky smile you feel him making against your lips tells you his intentions are something less lewd. the fae can get so lost in your taste and lips that he merely forgets where the both of you are, which is incredibly unlike him. this leads him into weaving his hands through your hair, giving you tugs every now and then to tease you. sometimes he can’t help but want to do so, you just look so cute!

♱ ˖° to no surprise, lilia is a big tease when he’s kissing you. occasionally he may peck you playfully on the corner of your lips before he brings you into a long, passionate one filled with all the feelings he can’t manage to say with words. the unpredictable nature of his affections leads to a truly entertaining intimate occasion with you, which lilia could never object to. and, this fae is also a lip biter. with his sharp fangs, and the present opportunity to take a little taste of your lips, he can almost never pass up on it. he will nip at your lips as he continues to smile against you, savoring the flavor of your blood and your taste. however, if you yelp in pain at his nipping, then he will tone it down a bit and apologize for inflicting pain on you. he wants you to enjoy the kisses he gives you as much as he loves receiving yours, so cutting it down on the nipping isn’t much of a problem for him.

♱ ˖° the bat fae isn’t really one for indulging in that desire in front of a large group of people, but if you lead him over to a more secluded spot in the garden then he just might just give in. he enjoys the thrill of someone being able to hear you two from your hidden spot, and if you were caught he’d play it off teasingly like he wasn’t just sucking face with you. it truly bewilders you how one moment he’s kissing you so fervently, then the next he’s talking down a heartslabyul student into believing that they saw nothing. after the student left the scene, clearly not convinced, lilia walked right back up to you again. however, he didn’t kiss you. he merely whispered something into your ear before making his way to his next class, leaving you flustered in the lush green garden where you once had been so entangled.

“now, darling. i’m terribly disappointed that heartslabyul boy interrupted our romantic escapade, we were just getting to the best part. i assure you we’ll continue this later…”

♱ ˖° unadulterated adoration, you’re quite literally the love of his life. he had loved others in the past, but none of them had ever come to fruition. he thought he was going to live out the last of his days alone in the land of the red dragon, but you changed his plans drastically. you had shown him a love like no other, unintentionally sweet talking your way into his heart. now that you had made him attached, he was never letting go. the way he desperately clings to you as he holds you, the teasing yet love filled kisses he places on your lips and neck, the warm glow in his crimson eyes as he stares into your own; it all means i love you.

lilia's last name (why no silver vanrouge)

started looking a lot of stuff up after thinking about reasons why silver doesnt have lilia's last name

and then its especially when we got told in the latest book 7 update (part 4) that its a courtesy name

so

im just. gonna copy paste here...

SPOILERS for the latest Book 7 update. (Part 4)

I think the reason Silver doesn't have Lilia's last name is because Lilia refers to 'Vanrouge' as a courtesy name. In some places it's a name given when of age. Alternatively, it's something that represents or describes the person [usually sorta connected in meaning to the first name?], as like a sign of adulthood and respect (but supposedly isn't like an actual family name, although maybe it could turn into one? I don't know), as another way of referring to them without being rude, since apparently it used to be that referring to someone by their given name who you aren't close to was seen as rude. (Then the family name is apparently what people closer to you use, but say, in a professional setting, would use the courtesy name.) (I really need to go back and see how they refer to him. If it's just 'Vanrouge' or Lilia, both in ENG and JP since I can't recall.)

Note that I only just found out that courtesy names even exist, so I might be way off the mark.

But like. For example, Lilia's name means night (which could be a reference to him being a nocturnal fae?). Rouge is red (closest to Vanrouge I can find is Vin rouge which is red wine, so dark red?). Which the red is represented in Lilia's General Armor, where he has red in his hair instead of magenta.

He's also 700 years old, and given he got an acceptance letter 500 years ago, it's likely that means it was around that time that he sort of grew 'of age'? Or maybe he already was of age but only got a courtesy name bestowed upon him in reference to his time as a general later after he proved his worth. (Since we know he got a letter while he was a general, or at least before he was one. And it's minors who get letters ofc, so it likely means Lilia wasn't technically of age, or was at least close to it around that time, and since then grew of age.)

You slept soundly in his arms and in your unconscious state, failed to notice or feel his grip tighten. His head swirled with the sudden realization and dread that one day, you will die. Of course. It’s inevitable for all living beings, but for you. A human. Who was to say how long you really had in comparison to him.

Within less than a decade you would, without a doubt, pass away. And where does that leave him? Alone once again as Silver and Malleus mature and leave as well.

He hated getting negative, but was this really being negative, or being realistic? He will eventually be all alone, without his children, or the love of his life, to watch him fall into disrepair.

And while he is thankful none of you will witness him reach that point, he can’t deny how terrifying it is. He is an old man at heart, but that doesn’t mean all his years of life have prepared him for that moment of truth.

Dancing in the living room of ramshackle dorm was not how Lilia expected to spend his evening.

He was ready to scare you at your doorway as you entered from a long day of classes. He ended up facing an almost cardiac event when you collapsed into him. He recollected himself, ready to tease you. But you stopped him.

"I need a recharge, Lilia. Got something for that?" His eyes softened, reaching a hand up to stroke your hair. A habit he inherited, from the realization that while the world was unkind, all he could do was protect his family and beloved.

Because of this way of living, he eased your head to his shoulder, guiding you inside. "It's an old trick I learned." With a low chuckle, he moved his hands to your shoulders. "Show me your dance moves, and we'll party your burdens away."

Seeing your less than amused expression, he giggled some more.

"Now, I'm only slightly tugging on your leg. We don't need to party." Which meant the dancing part still held true, unfortunately. You weren't in the mood to dance, you were in the mood to sleep. It was evident in the way your body swayed out of sync with his. "Come now, don't tell me you can't spare me your best attempt."

"I just want to rest with you," you mumbled as he lifted your arm to twirl himself. He paused. And you continued, "I'm sorry. I just really want to be held by you."

His parted lips pursed together in an uneasy expression. Not one of uncertainty towards you, more towards himself and his failure. He knew you were tired, but perhaps he hadn't expected him to be the object of comfort for you.

"Yes, of course." He pulled you close to him, in a more intimate embrace. More intimate than his teasing and typical hugs. "Let's get you to bed." Somehow, you managed to render him speechless and infatuated with your sleepy phrases.

"You used to have long hair?" The fae on your chest, peeks up at you with a grin. Every time you asked a question in regards to his past, he felt a sense of nostalgia. It used to scare him, but he'd grown more used to the emotion as you two progressed in this easy-going relationship.

With a chuckle, he nodded. "Yes, you are correct. Although, I'm rather curious as to how you found out."

His eyes widened briefly as you reached a hand up to tuck his stray locks behind his ears. He wasn't one to get flustered, but he would be lying if he denied your doting movements made his heart skip a beat.

You cupped his face and he relaxed into your touch. "You know how they say hair holds memories, Lilia?" He hummed softly, still preoccupied in your warm hands.

"Is that what they're saying nowadays?" When he cracked his eyes open to see your genuine and sincere expression, he giggled once more. "Well, let's just say I have some memories I'd prefer to forget, and leave it at that, hm?"

Despite your growing curiosity for his lack of explanation, you decided against prying. Maybe one day, he'd indulge your need for answers.

"Flufftober 2024 (Night Walk)

Malleus wasn't there to accompany you on your typical nightly walk, which didn't bother you all that much. It certainly didn't prevent you from enjoying the crisp autumn wind on your skin. Even the little goosebumps that littered your arms brought a sense of comfort.

"It's quite chilly for you, don't you think?" A smile graced your lips at his attempt to scare you. Lilia, of course.

You'd taken a liking to the fae, even despite his insistence that he's only by your side to keep you out of trouble. It's endearing, how he seems to be by your side any moment you figure you're by yourself.

Turning to face him, you held out your hand. "Would you like to join me?" He chuckled at the sight. You weren't afraid of him. You never appeared to be. "Perhaps you can keep me warm."

You'd be a fool to overlook the smirk that spread over his features. The look you've grown to adore from him. One full of mischief.

"How intriguing you are, [name]. Not afraid of an old bat like me in the slightest. I'd fall for your advances if I wasn't so familiar with your tactics." He didn't take your outstretched hand, instead walking around you, following the trail you seemed set on following. "But, I suppose I can indulge this once."

Watching a Horror Movie With Lilia Vanrouge🦇

🦇"Kufufu. Your asking little old me on a date now, are we? Hehe, I'm teasing you. I'd be delighted to come over~!" Lilia would instantly tease you, causing you to blush, the minute you said if he wanted to come over to watch a horror movie with you at Ramshackle. He was over the moon that you were inviting him, and immediately started to ask if he needed to bring anything special for the movie night.

🦇You told him just to bring his cute self with his pajamas to your dorm, and reminding him to arrive at 7 PM. Giggling at that, Lilia gave you a quick hug, before he disappeared with his magic. As you began to head back to class, you started to think on how you could prepare for the movie night, and also what movie to pick. You knew Lilia has been around for a long time, and he was up to date with modern technology as he often gamed with Idia. Maybe you could pick a movie from your world? It would be something that Lilia has never seen before and he may enjoy it.

🦇After class, you headed to your dorm and started to prepare. Remembering Lilia's fondness for tomatoes, you decided to have some tomato juice for him to drink, and also make a margarita pizza as well, as nothing beats eating pizza when watching a movie. With the help of the ghosts, you were able to string some colored lights around the walls, giving the room a spooky feeling. The couch was layered with fluffy blankets and pillows, and the food was placed on the living room table.

🦇A rhythmic knock was heard from the door, alerting you. Sprinting towards it, you opened it wide to reveal, nobody? Huh? Sticking your head out, you looked left and right, wondering where Lilia was. "BOO!" Popping up from above, Lilia was hanging upside down, wearing a cheesy grin. "AHH! Jeez! Lilia!" Glaring at him, he continued to laugh at your reaction before floating around to where he was standing face to face with you. It took a moment for you to look at his adorable outfit. He was wearing neon green lounge wear with little bats decorating it. "Hehe~ Gomenasai. I couldn't resist." You couldn't stay mad at him for long, as a smile made its way to your face. Grabbing his hand, you led him inside your dorm, heading towards the decorated living room.

🦇Lilia couldn't resist and ran towards the couch, hopping onto it with a giggle, causing you to shake your head. Making your way towards the tv, you inserted the movie you picked for the both of you to enjoy, heading back towards the couch to sit next to Lilia. Reaching for the tomato beverage on the table, you handed it to Lilia with a smile which he gladly accepted with a kind smile. "What is the name of the movie we are watching?" Lilia questioned, as he reached for the pizza and began nibbling on it, cheese stretching out from the slice he consumed. "Oh its a movie called Jeepers Creepers. It's a very popular movie from my world and I picked it because I'm pretty sure its gonna be a movie you have never seen before."

🦇Lilia chuckled, saying he was excited to watch it, leaning more towards you to place his head on your shoulder. He always does stuff like this to make your heart race. Trying to ignore the adorable bat fae on your shoulder, your eyes drew to the tv as it began to play. The movie continued to play, showing the two main protagonists exploring a local church where they saw the villain supposedly dumping bodies somewhere. Lilia was beaming with excitement, his magenta colored eyes sparkling the more the movie played. He broke into a fit of laughter when you got jump scared by the crow scaring the female character in the movie. "Haha...very funny." you said sarcastically, as Lilia finally managed to calm down, wiping the tears from his eyes.

🦇Further into the movie, it is revealed the villain is an ancient bat like monster, which consumes the body parts of others, to regenerate parts he has lost. This was the first time you had seen Lilia looking so serious, appearing very upset with the actions the monster was doing, and all the deaths he had performed. The ending to the movie gave off an eerie feel to it as the monster survives and manages to kill one of the main characters. As the credits began to roll, you turned to look at Lilia, who appeared a bit upset, "Are you alright?" Lilia turned to you and gave a soft smile, "I'm alright..its just....wasn't expecting an ending like that, most of the movies I have come across the heroes survive and defeat the evil villain, yet this time, the villain wins." Your hand move to nestle against his hair, giving it a rub, "Its only a movie Lilia." Lilia nodded, but it was clear he was still a bit sad.

🦇Smirking to yourself, your hands reached for the couch pillow behind you, throwing it to hit against Lilia with a thud. "Wha-?" Lilia blinked in confusion as he peered at you, smiling wide at him. "PILLOW FIGHT!" Grabbing another pillow, you threw it at Lilia, which he caught with ease, smile revealing his little fangs, as he chuckled evilly. "Prepare yourself!" Lilia quickly vanished from your sight, appearing behind to hit you with the pillow. The pillow fight continued for a couple hours, the both you running around with pillows, ready to attack the other. Lilia had a bigger advantage, as he was very quick and his magic allowed him to teleport, making it easier for him to attack you. The both of you had ran into your bedroom, pillows at the ready, waiting for the other to strike. Raising it in the air, you gave one last hard throw to Lilia, before he vanishes again. He appears from above, hitting the pillow into your face, as both of your bodies land on the bed.

🦇"Kufufu~ I win!" He hovers above you, fanged smiled appearing on his face. Removing the pillow from your face, you gaze at him fondly, as you continued to lay on the bed. "Feeling better?" Lilia paused for a second, and then proceeded to laugh wholeheartedly. "Was that your little plan? Making me feel better with a little pillow fight?" He raised an eyebrow at you, moving closer to where his lips were almost touching. "Yeah." Lilia laughed at your innocent answer, moving to place a kiss on your cheek, before moving his head down to lay on your chest. "What an adorable human you are." Lilia nuzzled his head deeper into you, wrapping his arms around your back, pulling you closer.

🦇Wrapping your own hands around him, you pulled him in deeper, moving further up the bed, to have your head lay against the pillow. One of your hands toyed with the colored locks of his hair, earning a comforting hum from him. "I enjoyed doing this with you. Perhaps we can do this at Diasomnia with the others. I'm sure Malleus would be happy. Just hope Silver doesn't fall asleep through the movie." Lilia chuckled against you, lifting his head up to gaze at you with loving eyes, "Sounds like a plan." His head returned to your chest, and you felt his breathing slowed. Your hands continued to play with hair as you continued to hold onto each other, enjoying each others warmth. Little mini snores could be heard from Lilia as he had fallen asleep on top of you, as your eyes gazed down at him softly. "Good night Lilia." you said softly, as you placed your head down against the pillow, sleep consuming you as well.
