Lilia wondered if you knew what it meant to be loved by a fae. Did you truly?

To be loved by a fae meant to be worshipped.

To be loved beyond eternity.

To have lasting memories that would never fade.

To be found in all lifetimes until the end of eternity.

Silver and Sebek knew, having grown with faes and learning their culture.

Silver, even as a human, had learned and readily accepted it but he grew with such knowledge.

Sebek had grown knowing such from his mother and grandfather, even his father knew what it meant to be loved by a fae and willingly accepted it.

Lilia watched as you dozed on Malleus’ lap, the prince stroking your hair with a loving gaze upon you.

You, who were loved and cherished by him and Malleus, two powerful faes who made nations tremble at their power.

Lilia knelt by your side, kissing your forehead. His own blessing mixing with Malleus’s, marking you theirs.

Lilia knew that in time you would realized what it meant to be loved by them, maybe you already had.

After all, you loved so gently yet passionately. You loved with your entire self. It was only proper for that love to be returned just as intensely.

He knew you would never come to danger, not with them protecting you: the Dragon and the General of Briar Valley.

You were also protected by the Knights of the Future King of Briar Valley, both of whom considered you family.

You were loved and cherished, and will continue to be so by all you have come to know and will know.

And of course, especially by them.

Yandere Silver x reader

Silver was ecstatic, to say the least. Hands grabbing yours in gratitude, fingers trembling madly.

Sleep was his poison, his Achilles heel. As accepting as his family was of his… condition, Silver still woke up screaming, sometimes.

Forehead beaded with cold sweat, dripping down his scalp. Gruesome images of Malleus stricken down, lifeless bodies scattered across the ground, his own blade still clean.

It was his worst fear. Not the fall of the prince of Fae, not the defeat of his compadres… but the fact he’ll sleep through the battle, leaving the rest to their fate.

Yet here you are. One touch was all you needed. A simple brush of your fingertips against his skin. The drowsiness vanishes, heart thumping wildly within its cage of bone.

With those miraculous ability of yours, his eyelids will never again fall of their own accord. Silver would fall upon his knees immediately, if there was no one to stop him. A knight’s bow, before their saviour. It was the least he could do, the least he would do for you.

He would do anything for you.

Unfortunately, now you’ve earned the service of your very own knight. Silver takes it upon himself to protect you, whatever that entails. He’s never far behind, trailing behind you like a shadow. Wary of anyone that approaches, hand dancing on the handle of his Magic Pen.

Anyone could be a threat. A danger, especially to you. You were kind. Silver was well aware of that, even before you offered to help him. You would help anyone, if they needed it.

This habit of yours gives Silver much grief. Some people latch on to people like you. Milking them, for all they can give. Trampling on your kindness, always demanding more-

He’s the only one who’ll appreciate your kindness. Your love.

He has to protect you.

He needs to protect you.

He will protect you.

Bit by bit, he starts to pull you away from others. Pretending to fall asleep in the classroom, so you’ll stay behind with him. He never truly “wakes up” until everyone’s gone. Until anything that could hurt you leaves.

Gently inviting you to study sessions with him. Silver’s been dozing off most of his classes. He needs a little help catching up, and who better to ask then you?

You’ll never have a chance to be alone, not with Silver awake. Somewhere in his heart, he knows this isn’t right. It hurts him, lying to you like this. It isn’t what a honourable knight would do.

Yet the more lies he tells, the more easily they come to him. Cover stories of why he needs to stay by your side 24/7. Tall tales of why no one wants to hang out with you anymore.

Silver tells himself its all for your sake. Everything he does, it’s to protect you. It’s all for you. He repeats those lines everyday. A mantra, engraved in his mind.

It’s the truth. It’s his truth.

If he ever believed otherwise, Silver may just break.

You know what’s the best feeling in the world? The feeling of the one you love sleeping beside you in perfect peace with their limbs tangled in your own, and their body flush with yours. That’s what Lilia Vonrouge was thinking right now, with his girlfriend all snuggled up beside him. Last night they had both stayed up late gaming, and because of that they had both fallen asleep together on the floor, blankets and pillows along with empty snack bags surrounding them and making up their strange yet cozy nest.

The fae smiled softly as he playfully but gently poked his girlfriend’s cheek where her dimple usually expressed itself when she smiled. The girl moaned and peaked open one eye.

“Oops. Did I wake you baby bat?” Lilia smiled, his raspberry red eyes shining in their usual playful Manor. Yuu's response was just a noise as she then cuddled deeper into the small fae.

“Mmm… you're warm.”

“Hehehe… you're so cute when you're half asleep like this…” He took a piece of her hair and twirled it between his fingers. “It makes me want to kiss you.” Yuu let out another sleepy noise and presented her forehead. Lilia smirked before kissing it lightly, earning a happy noise from his girl.

“Yay! I got kisses!” She softly sang, smiling widely into her boyfriend’s chest.

“If you’d present me with those lips of yours you’d get more!” Lilia smirked, still playing with her hair.

“You had your fun last night.” She said, referring to the several stolen kisses that had been taken last night.

“But your lips are so soft!” He said, grabbing her chin and running his thumb over her lips. “I could kiss them all day.” Yuu’s face turned red. Why does her boy have to be so small and cute, but sexy at the same time? Oh yeah. He’s lived for hundreds of years, that’s probably why.

“Vonrouge-“

“Yes baby bat?” He smirked, leaning in just a bit more, his playful eyes going to a more mischievous red color. Yuu narrowed her eyes and pursed her lips.

“Don’t get carried away, or I’ll have to be mean and smack you.” Lilia made small happy noises as he smiled and started to kiss his girlfriend’s face. He always started with her nose, his favorite. Yuu’s nose had a small flat spot on the tip, making it the most boopable nose ever, and Lilia's favorite place, besides her lips, to kiss her. He then moved to her cheeks and the forehead, finally ending with her full lips, kissing them the not surprisingly the longest. After he’d satisfied himself with her lips he rubbed his nose to hers. He had a huge smile on his pale face, so happy that he got her.

“I couldn’t live long enough to show you how much I love you Yuu.” His eyes stared right into hers, communicating things he couldn’t find the words for, or that words couldn’t describe.

“That’s a lot considering you could potentially live forever.” Yuu gave a small smile, before giving him a quick kiss on his thin glossy lips.

“Hey!! Stealing kisses is my job!!” Lilia whined, though he tried to kiss her back but she dogged by ducking her head into a blanket, giggling as she did so.

“Two can play at that game Vonrouge.” He could hear her smirking so plainly he rolled his eyes and ducked under the blankets too. They both then spent about thirty minutes playing hide and seek and tag in there, but in the end they decided to build a makeshift fort that they then snuggled up in. Lilia used his magic to create what appeared to be the night sky on their fort's roof, and the two just sat there, basking in each other’s presents and cuddles, occasionally talking about a great many things. School life, friends, siblings, Yuu’s home world, Lilia’s adventures in babysitting, and then finally about them as a whole.

“Lilia?”

“hm?” The boy turned towards the sweet siren voice that called him.

“Why did you choose me? Knowing full well that I’m human and can not live forever like you.” Her voice was muffled, due to the fact that she’d buried her head into his chest, but he could hear the distinctive sadness in her voice.

“Yuu look at me.” He said in a demanding yet soft and sweet tone. “I chose you because I fell in love with you. You and your quirkiness, sarcastic yet caring attitude, your beautiful hair, your intereging eyes that always show your emotions and see beauty in everything and everyone, your adorable nose,” He paused here to boop it before continuing. “Your cute ears, how your eyes light up when you hear or see something you like, your dainty slim fingers, your random noises you make, the way you walk and talk, heck I literally fell in love like a love sick school boy. I’ve been on deaths door numerous times, but the fact is I knew I was in trouble when I first heard your laugh and my heart danced to the sound and yet I didn’t fight it, nor ran away. I dived headlong into you, my sweet fluffy baby bat, my partner in crime. That’s why I chose you.”

“Lilia!! You're making me cry!!” Yuu hiccuped as she tried to hide the tears that were almost streaming down her face. Lilia chuckled as he took her face in both hands and gently wiped away the salt water with his thumbs, a smile alighted his lips as he again stared at her in the eye for the second time that day.

“Plus, I can’t help but think about how cute the kids would be!” His mischievous yet child like smile broke out as Yuu fell into a fit of laughter.

“Lilia, you already have kids, three to be exact.” Yuu said referring to Malleus, Sebek, and his literal adopted son Silver.

“Yes! I know technically, no, I did raise all three of them, but,” He paused, his smile fading, and took a breath, looking down, frowning slightly. “I want my own kids. You know? Ones that I helped bore, and that are from me, a-and hopefully…….. you.” Lilia’s face turned a slight red at this confession, not used to sharing these deep thoughts he had. It had been just him for so long after Maleanor. Saying these things aloud even in a whisper seemed to be shouting them to the whole world. No, he had just shouted it to the whole world. At least his world. Yuu blinked, then smiled as she nudged him to look up.

“I would gladly bore your children,” She quickly added. “As long as we are married, and have been for at least two years.”

“Yes, no voodoo stuff until wedding night!” He smiled, already thinking about it until she gave him a look and he immediately shooed all gutter lined thoughts out from his mind.

“Good. Now that we have that out of the way,” Yuu then flipped herself over onto her boy's chest, wrapping her arms and legs around him and cuddling her head into his chest. “Cuddles!”

“You're addicted to cuddles.” Lilia wrapped one arm around her waist and the other was free to play with her hair. Until-

WHAM!!

“Get out of bed old man, you and Mom have been cuddling long enough.” Silver’s voice echoed in their ears, Lilia frowned for a split second before then smirking let out a really long moan. Silence followed for a moment, then the door shut very quickly, Lilia still smirking.

“That ought to teach him to interrupt a couple’s alone time.” Yuu gave him a look before they both burst into laughter.

“Poor Silver, you’ve probably just scared him for life.” Yuu sighed after calming down.

“Eh, he’s a tough boy, he’ll be perfectly fine.”

“You’ll need to apologize to him and make it clear that we weren’t doing anything.”

“I’ll apologize later but for now,” He flipped them over so he was now on top and Yuu underneath him. “You are my prisoner, and I forbid you to leave.”

Taking a first look at this, I'm going to want to set a number 4 for the exact same reasons. Also, number 3 doesn't seem so bad, either. If I would be unlucky enough to sit in 8, I would be caught in the middle of an argument that riddle is losing for 8 hours straight and be poked and prodded by Floyd for 8 hours straight. Boy would end up dead by the time we got to wherever we were going.

Now 7 wouldn't be as bad. I mean, I have silver behind me and 9 times out of 10 snoozing for the whole flight. Floyd's in front of me, though, so I still get poked and prodded (and have to listen to him teasing Riddle). And then I have Azul to the side of me. Azul would spend the majority of the flight trying to make a deal with me and Jamil probably.

Number 6 is a no-go as i have Jade to my side, which is terrifying. Anne Rook straight behind me. Though having Jamil in front of me is a nice added touch.

5 is okay. I have Malleus to one side (he'd just want to hang out, really), but then I have Rook to my other. Idia is behind me and Jade's in front of me. The latter is terrifying.

Now you would most definitely not catch me in seat number 1 because I probably have to listen to Sebek wine and complain for 8 hours straight that he didn't get to sit by Malleus. Though I would not mind having Lilia in front of me, and I feel like he would be a good fresh breath of air, and that I'd get to listen to some good stories from him. (Most of them probably about his boys)

Now 2 would be pretty energetic. Cater and Ace would be talking a lot or on their phones. I feel like it would be a good mixture of Cater talking to you and then focusing directly on his device. It would be a good connection time with Cater. Ruggie would probably do roughly the same. Though Kalim would definitely be turning around and talking to a lot. Oh, did I mention that this is also his plane?

Rook, beloved, I adore you and would enjoy sitting next to you but I don't know if I could handle being stuck between you and Malmal for eight hours straight 😭😂

Logically speaking, I would pick seat #3 because I'd be surrounded by some of my favs in every direction *and* I'd be sitting next to crewel-sensei <3

No nonsense and I could most likely enjoy the flight in peace 😭💀

I would have picked seat #7 because I love Azul and Jamil so much but they'd just make me feel sooooo single. Like no thank you 🥲 (plus I'm claustrophobic and am afraid of heights so unfortunately the window seat isn't the one for me)

I also wouldn't want to be stuck watching Floyd drive Riddle crazy the whole flight (I'm obviously avoiding seat #8 like the plague because I REFUSE to be seated between those two lmaooo would definitely end up getting caught up in the crossfire 💀)

I love Cater but Ace is sitting right behind seat #2...yeah pretty self-explanatory I think lol (it's also a window seat)

Noticed Trey, Deuce, Jack, Vil, Epel, and Ortho aren't here but I'd definitely sit with them since these guys wouldn't drive me nuts lol

Twisted Wonderland Characters in The Haunted Mansion

I recently watched Haunted Mansion for the first time and in the middle of it I was like 'damn, Master Gracey is giving Malleus energy' so here we are.

Instead of the family being restate agents, imagine if Yuu gets a mystery invite to a ball at this old abandoned Mansion. Yuu goes along with Ace ans Duece (the children basically and Grim), Leona is there too, (because if this is a possible Malleus x Yuu/ reader/ MC, you gotta have Leona in the drama).

I can't decide if I want Lilia or Sebek as Ramsley though, probably nether.

We could have Sebek ans Sliver play as Ezra and Emma, (comic relief purposes) and Lilia as Madame Leota.

Plot goes like this:

After Yuu gets this mystery invitation, they and Ace, Deuce, Grim, and Leona join them on this adventure.

When they arrive they are greater with open arms, Malleus is very kind to Yuu and is enchanted with them; Malleus is thinking that they are his reincarnated ex lover.

(Now the curse could be a Beauty n The Beast Curse were everyone is bound to the house but isn't dead, but I digress)

(Charater stand in for Ramsley) traps Ace, Deuce, Grim and Leona to keep them away from interfering with the curse breaking. Sebek, Silver, and Lila try to help the confidants by rescuing them and leading them back to the protagonist from a possible certain death.

Yuu is trying to be nice and polite as possible but is very adamant that they aren't the reincarnated lover, but Malleus, blinded by attraction, doesn't care at this point that they aren't his dead lover. But decides that he is in love with current Yuu, he proposes to them.

(Charater stand in for Ramsley) guilt trips Yuu into thinking that they are the only one that can break the curse; how everyone will be stuck there, including Yuu's friends for eternity, if Yuu doesn't marry Malleus.

Don't Get Frostbite

[Part one right here]

This is part two! I hope yall enjoy!!

Warnings {small bullying (Yuu feeling left out), slow angst, this is an X Reader fic but instead of using Y/N or Name, I used Yuu = You, Anxiety attacks, stranger danger, crappy chase scene, mentions of death]}

Yuu is 7, Malleus is 9, Sebek is 8, and Silver is 7.

"YOU'RE SUCH AN IDIOT"

Yuu has only been living at the Draconia residence for a few days now, and things were tough for little Yuu. Right now they are being yelled at by Malleus's friends for not knowing how to 'play' knights.

"Sebek, calm down. It isn't a big deal" said the boy with white hair.

Yuu felt like crying, they haven't seen their fathers in a few days. They've always had hard time meeting friends, but this was like being thrown into the ocean without knowing how to swim.

"Is everything okay over here children?".

Lilia, that was the man's name. Yuu thought he was nice but then again he did scare them a few times.

"NO, this human doesn't understand how to be a Knight! How are they supposed to protect his majesty when they are older!".

Lilia chucked, "Sebek, we've spoken about this. Little Yuu won't be a guard, they are a guest that will be studying along Malleus".

Sebek's face turned red, he threw his 'sword' onto the ground and proceeded to march away.

Yuu looked up at Lilia, "Did I do something wrong? I am sorry, I didn't understand the rules".

Lilia smiled down at them and pat their head, "No dear, Sebeck tends to take things too seriously". Lila then picks up Silver, "Apologies Yuu, but I must leave. Silver needs to take a nap before dinner. Make sure you leave with Sebek. You may be old enough to wander on, but you're are still new to the Brair Valley area, many get lost here".

Yuu watched Lilia and Silver leave the overgrown thorn bushes garden. Yuu was alone, well besides Sebek somewhere in the garden. Dark clouds could be seen moving in the sky; rain or snow could be fallen at any minute. Yuu didn't want to get caught in any storm so they went to look for Sebek.

After walking through the woods the endless woods for a a good 30 minutea, Yuu looked behind the tall dark trees, and there they saw was a small clearing, Sebek was in the middle of the clearnimg, making circle of crocus.

"What are you doing Sebek?"

"I'm making a fairy ring, so I can catch a better human. Then maybe I'll have someone to play correctly with me and Silver".

Yuu's lip thinned, "Well that isn't very nice. But aren't you supposed to be using mushrooms?".

Sebek whips his head around, "DON"T CORRECT ME! Anyway, what do you even know about Fae and Fairies? You're just a dumb human".

Even though Sebek was eight he still towered over Yuu, "I don't know but my grandma always told me not to set foot in a ring or tell any stranger my name. Nor talk to strangers".

The two stared at each other, and snow slowly fell from the sky.

"Sebek can we go back to the castle?". It was getting colder by the minute, the sun was setting making the forest look darker and cleaning, much more scarier for Yuu than it already was.

Sebek turned around and started walking, "Fine, follow me. Stick close".

The two started making their way through the trees and the thorn bushes. The sun was already gone and the snow fell harder.

"Sebek"

"Sebek"

"WHAT"

"I think we are lost". Yuu was freezing and no matter how far they walked, they felt like they weren't going to get closer to the castle.

"No. We aren't lost. We are almost there. So shut your mouth and keep walking".

Sebek looked scared, Yuu was scared. It had been a few hours at this point since they last since Lilia.

Crack.

The two both whip their head towards the sound; nothing. Nothing in the dark, they only could hear the sound of them breathing,

Yuu felt like crying, "Sebek I want to go home".

"Me too, let's try this wa-"

CRACK.

The two stared at each other and started running. Yuu was trying to hold onto Sebek's hand as they ran through the heavy snowfall. They heard heavy footsteps running after them. Sebek saw a bush up ahead, and quickly he pushed Yuu in front of him making them land in the bush.

Sebek quickly sorted himself, putting his hand over Yuu's mouth as he peaked outside of the bush. Two dark, tall, scrawny, figures rush passed them, screeching.

The two sat there for a while, holding their breath as much as they could in the freezing cold. Yuu was shivering, their lips almost blue, and cheeks red. Sebek was keeping watch, looking for a way out of this mess. He wanted to cry. But he needs to be brave as well.

'What would a knight do?'. He thought.

He quietly stood up and slowlylooking around. Then he sees it, the entrance to the castle's gate.

"Yuu" He looked down at them smiling. His smile disappeared, Yuu was falling asleep.

"YUU!" he yelled quietly.

The screeching sound could be heard from a distance.

Sebek shakes them awake, panicking as he heard the loud footsteps from before.

Yuu slowly comes to their senses, Sebek tugs on their hand and starts running towards the gate. Yuu was slowly running from behind, having a hard time keeping up with the young fae. They felt tired, they felt cold.

Sebek throws himself at the gate. His face turns white, the gate was locked. He was panicing, no matter how hard he shook the gate, it wouldn't budge. He looks around and sees a ditch, pulling Yuu and then helping Yuu lay down in the ditch.

"Yuu, Am going to look for a way into the gate or a guard for help, okay? Stay here until I come back". Sebek puts his huge jacket onto Yuu, then quickly piles sticks, leaves, and dirt onto them.

"I'll be back" He runs off into the dark.

Sebek runs along the fence line, knowing he has little time before Yuu goes to 'sleep'.

"Children!!?"

"Sebeck?!!"

"Yuu?1?"

Sebek looks everywhere to find where the voices were coming from, from a distance he sees the warm glow of lanterns.

"MASTER LILA". Sebek gives his body a final push and runs towards the light. He didn't care about the thing in the woods, he wanted to go home, he wanted his parents, he wanted cry.

In front of him stood a couple of guards on horseback, Lilia, and Yuu's father.

"Oh Sebek, there you are". Lilia pulls him into a hug. Sebek starts crying into his arms, even wailing at this point.

"Sebek, Where's Yuu!" asked Yuu's father.

Sebek faces drains, he felt like throwing up, he had left them behind. "SIR! I left them in a ditch! They couldn't keep up and there was something chasing us, so I told them to hide as I ran for help".

The two adults face drained, Yuu wasn't a fae so their body heat wasn't regulated as well.

"Sebek, quickly, were did you leave them?".

The two adults got onto the horses, "By the old gate".

Achoo

Yuu was laying by their Papa in bed in the infirmity wing. They were still cold, after all, they spent hours in the snow. Sebek and Silver huddled around the bed. Sebek was still in distress, the feeling of guilt was eating him up.

"Are they going to wake up soon?" asked Silver.

Yuu's papa smiled at the young boy, "Hopefully. We can thank the seven that they were found in time". The man looks toward Sebek, with a soft smile, "If it wasn't for Sebek, they might have sub come to hypothermia or even worst frostbite. We wouldn't want that".

Sebeck started wailing, "I AM SORRY SIR! IF IT WASN'T FOR MY ARROGANCE, THEY WOULDN'T BE IN THE INFIRMITY!". The two stared at Sebek in disbelief.

"Sebek, calm down. This is embaressing". Silver decided to get up on the bed and lay down next to Yuu.

SLAM

The three looked towards the door, seeing Malleus and a couple of maids run after him.

"Your majesty! You must return to your studies!?"

"Young master! Please calm down!"

The boy marched over towards the four, and an angry expression could be seen across his face. No matter how intimidating he was, his baby face couldn't be taken seriously sometimes.

"What happened?", there was a scrawl across his face.

Sebek starts tearing up again, "I AM SORRY YOUNG MASTER, IT IS MY FAULT! I DRAGGED THEM INTO THE WOODS AND WE GOT LOST AND THEN IT GOT DARK AND -"

"And they made it out safely". Lilia, once again making his surprising appearance, walked towards the bed.

Malleus frowned at Sebek, not disgusted but as disappointed. He knew that Sebek had displeasure towards some humans. But he didn't think it would go this far. Either Malleus was making a misjudgment or Sebek really made a mistake. Malleus looked over and pulled down the blanket a little and looked closely at sleeping Yuu.

'They look so peaceful'.

"Ah, Mr. (L/N). I have a small schedule for little Yuu and a term of residents where you all will be staying". Lilia pulls a letter out of his pocket.

Mr. (L/N) reads over the letter, "Thank you, I will inform Yuu when they awake. Also where is this small cottage? There isn't a map in here".

"Oh, that would be over at the end of the garden area. It was shed, but no one uses it anymore but it is big enough for your family".

As the two men talked, the three children's eyes were locked onto Yuu's sleeping form.

'They've been sleeping for a long time, maybe longer than me".

"Don't say that, You'll make Sebek cry again".

"MASTER, I AM SORRY!" He wails again.

"Children!". The three look up at Lilia, the face Lilia was making almost made them think that they were going to eat his cooking again.

"It is time to resume your studies before dinner", he said with a smile.

The four said their goodbyes to the other two and left the infirmity wing.

The small family moved into that small cottage (or old shed), it was bigger than their house on the farm. Yuu had their own bedroom, and their parents had their own bathroom. It felt like home.

"I wonder why they decided to put two bathrooms in a 'shed'" said the small child.

Yuu's Papa was helping Yuu get ready, the family used the last of their savings to buy Yuu a bookbag, gloves, hat, and a better jacket. "Don't worry about it dear, now are you ready for your first day of lessons?"

"Yes papa, are you going to be okay being alone?"

Yuu's father was offered a job as a guard on the opposite side of the castle, meaning that he could be barely home.

"Yes, dear" With a kiss on their head, a knock could be heard at the door.

"I believe that would be your little knight," he said with a light laugh.

Yuu's face flushed, they haven't really spoken to Sebek since the whole incident. But Sebek has come to their home often asking their papa if they were okay.

Yuu opened the door and there stood Sebek and Silver.

"YUU ARE YOU READY TO LEAVE THE PREMISE?". Silver and Yuu both squeezed their face, trying to block out the loudness that came from Sebek, as just dawn arose.

Yuu gave one last goodbye to their papa and left with the two boys.

It was awkward between the three, after the whole incident, there was guilt between the two. Both felt they weren't strong enough in the situation.

"Yuu? Can I see your lesson plan?" asked Silver.

"Um. Sure" Yuu reached into their book bag and pulled out their paper.

Silver and Sebek both scanned the paper intensely, Sebek gasped.

"YOU CAN"T READ?"

"Damn, and they put you in Fae language studies at the same time?" Silver said with pity in his voice.

The two looked at Yuu with pity.

"I didn't learn how. Not all of us are fortunate".

"Yeah but wasn't there a school where you lived?" asked Silver.

Yuu shook their head, "No not really, there weren't any teachers nor enough kids for there to be a school. There were a lot of old people though. I used to have this old neighbor and she was mean some days. Once I peaked through her window to watch TV and she chased me down with a broom".

The children laughed.

"Maybe she was a witch" Sebek claimed.

"No, she couldn't be a witch. I read that witches eat children to stay young" Yuu said.

Silver shooked his head. "No, then that means my dad is a witch. But I've never seen him eat any kids"

Yuu laughed, "Maybe he is just fattening you up!"

Sebek and Yuu laughed, Silver face flushed with embarrassment.

"Now children, we aren't dilly-dallying are we?"

The three screamed and looked behind them. Lila was smiling at the three. "Well?"

"NO MASTER LILIA".

"No Dad".

"No Sir".

Lilia smiled, "Good, now follow me. We are almost in the castle and I don't want either of you getting lost".

The three followed Lilia.

"Hey Silver" Yuu whispered.

"Yeah?".

"Why does your Dad look so young? He looks younger than my dad's".

"It is because fae doesn't age the same way you humans do". Sebek explained. The two children looked at Sebek amazed.

"That means Yuu will die of old age and we'll be looking like Master Lilia".

"Sebek. That's enough out of you," Lilia said with a strict tone.

The three stopped talking. Yuu felt sad, they just started making friends and they found out that they were going to die before them? They are going to be an old cranky person while their so-called friends stay young? Yuu was in deep thought and it put a frown on their face.

The group made way through endless hallways, until they finally made their stop at a huge door.

"Alright children, please behave. I will come back to get you for lunch". Lilia opened the door, and through that door was what looked like to be an endless amount of books. Shelves that probably reached the ceiling, the many miles of bookshelves, and the long study tables. The two boys ran towards their seating. There were a few other children as well, probably children of maids and guards.

Yuu made their way towards the table but was stopped by Lilia, "I am terribly sorry Yuu, but you won't be joining them".

Yuu looked up at the man, "Why?".

Lilia sighed and took their hand, "You are too far behind to join them, so for now you will have a personal teacher until you can read and write in your native tongue and fae language".

The two made their way into the other side of the library, there was a door on the other side. As it was opened it looked like a small study room. " Your instructor will be here in a few minutes, I'll make sure to have the boys get you before lunch starts, okay?".

Yuu didn't know why but they felt so much anxiety, they were going to be left alone, with a stranger. Lilia picked up on their emotions, Yuu was gripping the inside of their palms harshly. Lilia softly grabbed their hands and kissed them.

"Listen little one, you'll be okay. I promise if there is any trouble. Just call out my name and I'll be there in a second".

Yuu looked at the man with teary eyes and nodded. Lilia gave them a small hug and left, closing the door behind them.

Yuu made their way towards the chair, then they heard a small noise.

CREAK

"Psst, Yuu. Down here".

Yuu looked down to see a small crawl space door open. "Malleus? What are you doing down there?"

Malleus smirked at them, "Isn't it cool? We have secret entrances in every room in case of an emergency".

Yuu was impressed, they sat on the floor near the small door. "What is that room that you've come out of?".

"Oh, that's my study room. I am already ahead in my studies than Sebek and Silver".

"Is it because you are going to be king one day?"

Malleus thinned his lips and looked up in thought, "Kinda, I don't know, But why are you in a separated room?".

Yuu looked down at their lands, "Well... It is because I don't know how to read or write".

The two sat in silence. "Well, that's okay, you are poor right?".

Yuu looked at Malleus with anger and embarrassment. "That is rude for you to say!".

"Oh, I didn't mean it in a bad way -"

CREAK.

The sound of Yuu's study door opened, Yuu look down to shoo Malleus away but he was already gone.

"Ah, (L/N). Are you ready for your- Um, I am sorry, why are you on the floor?"

"Okay, I think this wraps up today's lesson. You are excused".

As the teacher makes his way to leave, loud banging can be heard on the door. "YUU HURRY WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE!"

The teacher opens the door, "Ah Mr. Zigvolt, Are we going to use our inside voice today, or does someone need to re-dust the entire library needed" He said with an annoyed expression.

Sebek looked down and gulped, "No Mr.Merryweather sir".

"Good. Now both of you, leave the library".

Sebek, Silver, and Yuu made their way toward the second dining hall that was meant for the servants and the guards. There were already many children in line for their portion of meals.

"Dang it, now we are at the end of the line. Thanks, Sebek" Silver says annoyingly.

Sebek gasps and turns his head to lecture Silver, "Hey! It wasn't exactly my fault. It was that old fairy, Mr. Merryweather, he scares me".

As the two argue against each other, Yuu was in deep thought.

'Malleus was weird earlier. Also is he a fae? If he is a fae why does he have horns? But also he has long ears. Maybe I should ask Sebek. He seems to know everything'.

The three finally grabbed their food and made way towards an empty table.

"Hey Sebek, I have a question about Malleus".

Sebek's eyes lit with excitement, "First of all don't call the young master by his first name, it is very rude. And go ahead!".

Yuu coughed, "Well if the young master is a fae, why does he have horns?"

Sebek laughs, "That's because his royal bloodline comes from dragons. There are many types of fae; like Master Lilia, who is a bat fae, and The Young Master is a dragon fae!".

Yuu nodded, "Then what type of fae are you?"

Sebek puts his hand on his chest, "Well I am a half-fae, but you can tell who and who isn't a fae by looking at their ears. See, Mine and every other fae's ears are pointy".

As Sebek went on about fae heritage, Yuu heard a small sound of something dropping. Yuu looked down and saw that Silver had dropped his spoon. "Hey, Silver I think you dropped something-"

When Yuu looked up, they saw Silver clutching his ears and silently crying. "Silver are you okay?".

Sebek's attention flipped over to the crying boy, "Silver what is the matter?".

Before either could get an answer, Silver ran out the door still clutching his ears. The two looked at each other and silently agreed to run after Silver.

"Silver!!"

"SILVER!"

The two children were looking endlessly for the silver-haired boy, at this time they all probably missed their lesson, but that was the least of their worries. No matter how many doors they closed or opened, they couldn't find anything, not even a hair.

"Okay! Yuu, we need to split up!". Sebek was out of breath.

Yuu nodded and went to a different hallway than Sebek. After running for around what felt like hours (probably minutes), Yuu almost gave up. Then they heard it, the sound of someone crying. Yuu looked around but saw that it was coming from a wall or the inside of a wall.

'A panic room?'. Yuu thinks to themselves, they pushed on the wall that had the most sound coming out of. Then a door popped open. Yuu looked inside and saw silver huddled against themselves crying.

"Silver? Why are you crying?".

Silver looks up at them, eyes red from crying or rubbing too hard. Either way, it was painful to see.

Yuu scooted themselves in and sat next to Silver, "Is it because of what Sebek said?"

"WHAT DID I SAY HUMAN?". The two children looked at Sebek with wide eyes. Sebek made his way and sat in front of the other two.

"You mentioned how only fae's only had pointed ears, Silver doesn't have pointed ears but his dad does".

Sebek looked at Silver with his jaw hunged open.

'Wow, I guess that he never put two and two together' Yuu thought.

"That means.... I'll die before you, Sebek! I'll die before my dad and the young master!" Silver yelled.

Sebek started crying as well, and the two boys held each other. Yuu sat there awkwardly. "It's okay, I am adopted too".

Silver started crying louder, "I am adopted too!?!". Sebek glared at Yuu, "This is your fault!! You humans and your dumb questions!".

Yuu felt themselves crying now, "Says the person who got us lost in the woods, who is dumb now?!".

There was crying, snot, and yelling between the three.

knock knock

Yuu pushed open the small door, and their face met with Lilia. "What is all this crying about?".

"I AM ADOPTED?!".

"SILVER AND YUU ARE GOING TO DIE BEFORE ME?!".

"I WANT TO GO HOME!".

Lilia pinched the bridge of his nose and took a deep breath. "Children, come here," he said with a soft and comforting voice. Lilia opened his arms towards the three children; the three rushed into his arms, wanting to be comforted at that moment.

"Now, Silver we will speak alone later. As for your questions. Everyone dies at one point. Nothing on this planet lives forever. Yuu, Sebek, and Silver. You all are very very young, you don't have to worry about death anytime soon. It should be me that should worry about it".

The children started tearing up again, "That was a joke, I not dying anytime soon" he sighed.

Lilia dropped off Yuu at their home, "Thank you so much Mr. Vanrouge for dropping Yuu off. Their father and I were getting worried". Yuu's father picked them up from Lilia's arms. Yuu was peacefully asleep with tears stained on their cheeks.

"It is no problem. The children had a rough day" Lilia smiled down and rubbed Yuu's head, bringing a small smile to their faces. "Now I must take my leave, I need to get Silver to bed".

"Of course Mr. Vanrouge, again thank you".

Lilia walked away from the small cottage, in his arms Silver lays awake.

"Dad, promise me. Please don't forget about me after I die". Silver curls agasint Lilias chest.

Lilia looks up and wraps his arms around SIlver, hugging him tighter. With a shaky breath, he responds, "I promise".

Silver breathes out, "Thank you, dad, I love you".

Lilia smiles down and stares at Silver, " I love you too, Silver".

Lilia looks up towards the sky, "The moon looks pretty tonight".

He probably reads or brings his own magazines. Either baking, dentistry, or about the place he is traveling too.

Cater Diamond: Constantly taking pictures out of the window. (Premium Economy).

Anytime they pass something that looks "pretty" or cool, they are taking pictures. Even go as far to take videos or photo of people doing dumb things on the plane, (looking at you Ace).

Motherfucker takes "get comfortable" seriously. He is wearing a eye over, wearing earmuffs, he takes relaxing seriously.

Deuce Spade: Sleeper but wakes up bored so mess around with papers sitting in the front of the seat. (Economy).

Type of person to leave everything in a checked-in -bag and doesn't have anything to do on flight. He will mess with the papers in the front, try to use the tablet on the seat, look at others phones. Very unprepared.

His family owns their own jets. He probably has his own plane (small one, he probably has a flying license too). Anyways when he is flying with family he is sleeping or drinking, anything to take his mind off from screaming Cheka.

He is responsible enough to be prepared and brings a bag of his own food, whenever he gets bored he is just snacking or looking out the window.

He is just going to be listening to his meditation or fitness podcast or even sporting commentary. Doesn't really care about anyone else or mind babies.

He probably loves first class, he feels like he runs the world with this much privilege. If he hears a crying baby he can't focus and probably talks shit about the parents.

He is just chilling, wearing a neck pillow, gotta comfy blanket, humming as he just knitts. Man doesn't care about anyone else around him, he just chilling.

Since it's probably likely that Kalim's family owns their own private jet, they both are spoiled on the plane.

Always talking, probably offers to pay for someone's food. He probably doesn't even mind crying babies on a plane either, probably will try to play with them aswell.

He probably has to take anxiety medication because of flying, like worrying about if there is enough fuel, or if the jet had a good manience constantly asking the flight attendants how long the pilot has been flying and where he got his license.

I feel like he doesn't have his own jet but flys with other influencers who have their own jets, buy he does fly first class and drinks and gossips with other passengers.

I feel like he has never been on a airplane and when he was he was with Vil, talking and talking away and he isn't quiet about it. This man does not understand social cues! But he will be reading about the place he is visiting.

Since Vil isn't there to comment on what he eats, he is eating what his family packed him, fruits, candy, homemade chips, packed lunch.

He paid for the premium package where you can have wifi and internet. Let him sit in the corner of the plane and enjoy his game time.

I'm sorry but I feel like he was put under the plane because he is made completely m e t a l. (If I remember) but he is put in sleep mode.

Malleus Draconia: Curious. (First Class).

He has no need to be on a plane but he was curious as what it was and why so many people used it when they could use a mirror. He is touching all the buttons above him.

Lilia Vanerouge: Gamer but doesn't have headphones so volume is loud. (First Class).

He is the most annoying person to fly with, he doesn't listen when you ask him to quiet down, it's embarrassing. Old people and their social cues.

Silver Vanerouge: Sleeper. (First Class)

He literally sleeps through the worst turbulence, it's terrifying really, he looks dead. Only wakes up for water and goes back to sleep.

Sebek Zigvolt: Worrier. (First Class)

This man is clutching his seat, he does not feel safe. Constantly hitting the 'help' button and asking the flight attendant when they are about to land. He freaks out at the slightest turbulence.

02/20 I wanted to write short story along with this because I'm currently waiting for my plane to board! So here Yuu!(Reader), Epel, Ace, Deuce, Floyd, Jack and Diasomnia gang on a plane.

TSA was awful, Grim, who was considered a pet, had to be put in a pet carrier. All of Epels bags had to be checked troughly, Ace got detained for having three bottles of lotion, and then Sebek wouldn't stop freaking out about Malleus getting questioned for his 'cosplay', when it was his horns.

'Finally, we can just sit down'. Looking down at Grim who was under the seat, growing and mumbling in his sleep.

"Child of man? May I sit by you"

(Name) looked around, "um sure, as long as no was sitting there".

Malleus, hummed.

"Aaaaaweeee I wanted to sit by shrimpyyyyyyy".

Malleus glared at Floyd who was smiling and holding their tablet.

"Ah that's okay, Malleus how about I sit in the middle and you can sit by the window? Is that okay?". Malleus nodded, switching seats with (Name).

As everyone was getting seated, a screech could be heard in the back.

"ACE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

"Sebek, I'm relaxing, you should try and do the same"

"No Ace, I'm going have to agree with Sebek on this one. You're disgusting".

"Shut up Deuce, I'm literally doing nothing wrong. If there is a problem, the flight attendants would've done something by now".

'Please guy, not now......'.

"Oh, okay let me see it, and stop kicking the seat, you're bothering Silver".

Lilia stood up on his seat and turned around, "No it's fine! Look Silver won't wake up no matter what, but please stop for my sake. I'm trying to beat this boss".

Silver is often at Malleus’ side as his bodyguard, but just as often loses track of him. Unlike Sebek, Silver believes that it is important to give Malleus time to be on his own without a chaperone, which is a point that the two disagree on and about which they often argue.

He is not talkative. He is comfortable with listening while others share their opinions, rarely ever speaking negatively. He is calm and careful when judging a situation, and can be depended upon to make the most level-headed decisions in an emergency.

He wishes to, one day, become even stronger than his father, Lilia: capable of protecting the people he needs to protect, however and wherever they may need him. For this reason he is strict with himself about his physical training, swordsmanship and whatever other forms of training he decides will help him achieve this goal.

Silver’s magical pen is somewhat different from that of other magic users: it is large and detailed with black horns and thorns. He carries his pen strapped to a belt at his waist, as it is too large to fit into the jacket pocket of his uniform, where other students carry theirs. At a glance, it is easy to mistake it for a sword.

While he tries to avoid doing so in public, he refers to Lilia as “Father” in private, and he rarely smiles when he isn’t with (or talking about) Lilia. Lilia adopted Silver after finding him alone in the forest and named him for his hair color (there is some debate as to whether his birthday is the actual date of his birth, or the day that Lilia found him).

According to the official game guide, Lilia and Malleus raised him together. In his birthday vignette, Silver says that he and Sebek have been undergoing strict training regimes together since they were small, and that they are much like siblings.

He speaks often of Lilia, whom he adores. Silver explains that he originally thought that Lilia was his biological father, until he realized that their ears are different. When he asked about it, Lilia responded, “You hadn’t noticed?” and began to laugh. Confused, Silver immediately ran away, and Lilia had to search in the rain to find him. When they finally returned home, Silver collapsed with a fever. Lilia nursed him back to health, always smiling, and from that day Silver no longer cared about blood ties, happy to be his father’s only son.

Silver is not particularly concerned with his appearance, but he is always certain to be presentable and dressed appropriately. Lilia cuts his hair (when he does not cut it himself). 

Silver is constantly falling asleep during his classes and even his physical training, no matter how much black coffee he drinks. He claims it’s not because he wants to sleep and, while he wishes to overcome the issue, he does not know why it happens.

Animals are very fond of him. When looking for a plant to use in a potion to keep himself awake, Kalim calls out in surprise as squirrels and rabbits hurry to give Silver the plant he seeks. Jamil, nearby, says, “You fall sleep suddenly, and animals adore you…you’re odd”, and Silver agrees, saying, “I think so as well. What even am I?”.

Floyd refers to him as “Kurage-chan”, meaning jellyfish, and Rook calls him “Monsieur O-nebou”, meaning sleepyhead.

Silver can be naive, taking the things he’s told at face-value and interpreting them in a positive light, which can result in communication issues with those around him. In Leona’s ceremonial robes vignette (seen above), Ruggie explains that when Silver and Kalim are together, they create an “irritating fluffy space” (いらふわ空間) where the two of them are so optimistic and air-headed that it annoys everyone nearby. 

Silver and Kalim are fairly close friends, and their personalities mesh well (they have a lot in common, such as both having a lot of cosmic-based magic attacks*). 

Silver is grateful to Kalim for teaching him things that everyone else seems to know, that Silver—as someone with an unconventional upbringing away from the influence of the outside world—does not. 

Idia refers to Silver as “a rare type in this school”.

While growing up in the Valley of Thorns, Lilia would take a commemorative photo of him every year on his birthday, alongside Malleus and Sebek (who would visit to celebrate with them). They continued this tradition upon enrolling in Night Raven College, and Silver has the picture on display on the desk in his dorm room. Silver describes the photograph as “a wonderful birthday present. I wouldn’t trade it for anything”. He also has several clocks in his room to help keep him from oversleeping, as well as a bag of bird seed on his desk.

Silver first noticed when Sebek surpassed him in height when standing for a commemorative birthday picture together, but he does not particularly care. 

Sebek, on the other hand, is very proud of being asked to fetch objects from high shelves that Silver cannot reach. 

Silver assumes that this is because Sebek genuinely enjoys getting things down from high places, so even though Silver can fetch things from up high by himself via magic, he is always certain to ask for Sebek’s help, as it seems to make Sebek so happy.

When asked “How is life at the school different from your home?”, Silver expresses surprise at all the electrical appliances, which are rare in the Valley of Thorns, where most homes do not have electrical outlets.

He also explains that he was surprised by how good the food tastes, as—growing up—he had no choice but to eat Lila’s cooking. “Father…Lilia-senpai’s cooking is creative. He will look up a recipe, but not follow it as he cooks.” (lab wear vignette)

Silver is not a picky eater, and he is an accomplished cook, so long as he doesn’t attempt any cuisine (like stews) that require a significant investment of time, as he will fall asleep in the middle of the process. 

He has said he often receives bedding on his birthday, as people tend to assume that the reason he falls asleep throughout the day is because he does not sleep well enough at night. As a result, he has become familiar with many different variations and brands of pillows.

He has a naturally stern-looking expression, but this is unintentional and he is unaware of it. In-game, Vil refers to his eyes as “the color of the aurora”.

Translated notes from the image: “When he does smile—which is rarely—it is a gentle expression. Lilia sees him smile quite often. He usually does not look mean. Surprise. He usually hides when he is shocked so that others cannot tell he has been caught off guard, but he does get surprised. Anger! He gets angry if something puts Malleus and the others in danger. As he cuts his own hair (or Lilia cuts it for him), it is rather scraggly, but half of that is the fault of having bed hair.”

Rumor

While unconfirmed, there is a rumor that he may be based on Prince Philip’s “Sword of Truth”, from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, but he also has characteristics of Aurora herself, such as falling asleep against his will and attracting small woodland creatures. It is possible that Silver is in fact the only “Disney princess” enrolled at Night Raven College (as opposed to Royal Sword Academy, where the rest of them congregate). 

This raises the question, however, of why he was chosen by the mirror for the world of villains.

Which brings us to another point

 *The other two characters with a plethora of cosmic attacks are related to characters who were not true villains in their respective movies. Kalim, presumably based on the sultan, was hypnotized in the Aladdin movie by the villain to perform evil deeds, but was not, himself, maliciously villainous. Similarly, the hunter in Snow White—the basis for Rook—was employed by the movie’s villain and commanded to perform evil deeds, but ultimately refused and redeemed himself.

This illustrates that having a dotted-line association with the movie’s villain seems to be good enough for the mirror.

But that doesn’t help explain Silver, as neither the Sword of Truth nor Aurora can be associated—indirectly or otherwise—with aiding in a villain’s scheme. A certain live-action Disney movie insinuates that it is indeed Aurora who can be proven to have a deeper relationship to her movie’s villain than one would think, but does that timeline apply here?

And for further puzzling: In January of 2020, part of the early promotion for the game involve the official twst_jp account on Twitter posting short videos introducing the characters of each dorm. You had to retweet the video in order to play it, and it listed a still image of each character in the chosen dorm, one by one, and played a line of dialogue by that character.

I found the original promotional tweet, played the video and Silver’s line of dialogue is “That’s strange…I feel like I’ve seen you somewhere before”.

We already know that the player character sees Disney movies in their sleep. If this is a “I’ve walked with you once upon a dream” reference, it seems pretty safe to say that Silver might be 1/4th sword, but he’s easily 3/4ths Aurora.

For some reason, people would confuse Silver and Yuu for faes cuz you know, they talk in romanian (briarian ?? )

I know there are some people who don't think Malleus and Silver have a sibling relationship. And that's fine because there was never any explicit statements in-game that says so. But from everything that happens in Book 7, I think that's pretty much what the writers and Yana intended: that they're brothers born from different parents but nourished by the same man. "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb."

Some people might say that they don't act like brothers, but not all siblings treat each other like what's commonly accepted. Malleus was already grown when Silver came to their lives, so it would be very hard for them to joke around as if they're siblings with two years of age difference between them. This is anecdotal, but I myself am the youngest of siblings, with the older one 15 years ahead of me. I don't joke around with them because when I developed my brain enough to think properly, they were already well past the rambunctious age. Our relationship has always been built on respect and seniority.

And that's how Malleus and Silver's relationship is. Silver looks up to Malleus and wants to reciprocate everything he's done for him, and Malleus still thinks of Silver as a baby he needs to protect. Maybe this is not ideal, and maybe this isn't the healthiest, but for all their faults they care deeply for each other. So much that they get mad on behalf of each other, they get jealous of each other, they would go to extreme lengths for each other. Like what siblings do. They just don't know how to express it properly, because there's an unspoken wall between them: the simple fact that they didn't come from the same womb. And this is exactly what Book 7 intends to address.
