Moar weapon lore below the cut, this one's gonna be long
VE's sword is of their own creation, they found an old art book from pre-humanity's destruction (some official game art or something), it being the curious shit it is it looks at it for awhile, finding some cool weapons on a character, it liked the design and added a "side mission" to the objectives list it has to find materials and such to make a functional recreation of the cool characters sword, just below the "Humanity is Dead, Hell is Full, Blood is Fuel" ping that all machines that use blood as a fuel source (primary or not) got one day.
While following the strange mission sent by who knows what, it finds an entrance to Hell (I like to think there's more than one way to get into hell other than the one V1 takes) and desends, eventually reaching a Terminal, and seeing that it can help create the sword, but in exchange for points (the Terminals want entertainment, why not dangle something the machine really wants to get that entertainment) and obviously it agrees and goes on a violent crusade for points, the Terminals loaded the whole point counter and style meter into VE's software, since it was capable of doing so but was never properly connected to the Terminal network since it wasn't really ever ment to go exploring Hell.
The Terminals found its way of fighting quite interesting since it had no firearms of any kind, even Swordsmachines had a gun to go with the sword, while VE was solely a melee fighter, very different and interesting. The Terminals eventually did a scan for it's Model and such to see whats up with it, finding that it was the only Excavar Model in existence, even the V Model had multiple iterations, this obviously made the Terminals curious, so they would keep a figurative eye on this one (and V1 obviously).
VE eventually returned with the points, and some extra blood to spare, the Terminals fulfilled their end of the deal, fabricating the sword it wanted, and revealed that since it was a construction machine they would also exchange points to make more weapons, if it so wished, and VE kept that in mind as it continued it's descent into Hell, just like all the other machines there.
Now some actual facts about the sword itself! It has a special magnet in the hilt that makes it return to VE's hand (think like Star Wars when Jedi use the force to get their Lightsabers back). And it is extremely durable, wouldn't want your only weapon getting destroyed easy. VE has actually named the sword, why? It remembered seeing words on the same art book that it originally saw the sword in, it calls it "Moonlight Edge" as the game the book was connected to was very focused on the moon for some reason.
Fuck you, Pokemon OC post
BASICALLY, I like to think my PLA Character is the same as the one in SV, she wasn't supposed to go back to the future, but a somewhat feral 18yr old with access to multiple Gods wasn't gonna take no for an answer, so a panicked Arceus yeets her into a random future.
When she first got drop kicked through time, she knew of the future, she didn't lose her memories, but a strange force prevented her from spilling the beans, she wanted so badly to remind Ingo of Emmet, but the force said nah, Unovan by birth she knows about the train bosses.
Now in a future she doesn't know about, in a region she never really cared enough about to learn anything about, she is actively planning multiple murders.
She has a Darkrai, she doesn't fight with him, but hes essentially emotional support.
But essentially, the original protagonist of SV got yoted and she was put there in thier place, nobody knows, but her, Arceus, and Darkrai, so yeah, suffice to say she was on the war path, school was optional in Unova, now shes forced to wear a uniform, FORCED to go to a prissy school, and FORCED by multiple people to do things for them (Nemona, Penny, and Arvin)?! but thank whatever deity you worship that she eventually got along with them, and loves Koraidon very much.
Darkrai finds the Paradox Lizard silly and secretly makes him sandwiches with a Sinnoh twist. Every other random trainer got annihilated with zero remorse, and some younger ones had nightmares about the crazy demon girl (none of which were Darkrai's fault!)
Extra Teal Mask shinanigans!
She will die for Ogerpon, she was legit thinking of a way to go back in time and make everyone suffer for hurting the bean.
When she found out Blueberry Academy was in Unova, she wanted to strangle Arceus even more, she couldn't ask anything about it tho, stupid divine Intervention keeping her from physically telling on herself.
Moar pokemon oc lore
Her name is Maria, her original team before she got thrown into Hisui was a single Aggron who she raised from an egg, named Thanatos, they were best of friends. Maria was relatively sane, a little chaotic, but pretty normal, she was friends with N, who appreciated how she treated Thanatos, who was out of his ball 90% of the time, even though the professor said she shouldn't. And back when Schools were optional, she avoided them like the plague.
On the subject of having to go to school, she has planned multiple arson attempts, but Darkrai stopped her before she could! She absolutely hates the uniforms with a passion, she was never one for fashion or anything like that, but in her eyes, whoever designed the uniforms are evil and deserve suffering.
She really wants to go back to Unova, oh so very badly, she wants to see N again, and Thanatos, who she was forced to leave behind when she was sent to Hisui. A combination of so many mental problems had drove her to near insanity! But she retained enough braincells to be a functioning person, for the most part...
Completely original Angel OC moment
Fasten thy beltseats bitches this is gonna be a little long
First Consept!
His name is Raziel, God's secret or keeper of secrets!
Simple, because complex designs make me have panic attacks. I didn't realize until after he was finished that I made his Halo look like ram horns.
Version 2!
Changed his weird shirt vest thing to look like it's less loose.
Look upon his Halo and dispair, for it will be impossible to make consistent.
Numero 2.5
His skirt thinggy is longer, and he has some shorts underneath because I don't feel comfortable implying that he isn't wearing anything
Also weapons!! Knife and sword combo, iykyk
And thats his designs so far! Now have a silly
Made it while out and about today!
Now his personality is still a work in progress, but selective mute and knows all of heavens secrets, but aint no snitch and doesn't tell his knowledge unless explicitly told he can, and even then he probably wont is his thing. He's not primarily a fighter (thats Gabe's job now) but he can kick ass if he needs too
Thats about it for now! Hope yalls find him silly like I do
Another angel! This time he's a part of the council (against his will).
Nanael – angel who governs the sciences, and philosophy.
Forced to be part of the council because he is really good with paperwork (he hates doing it though).
Not a fighter, at all. Was the only one to vote against Gabe's light being taken. The rest of the council were planning to kill him to make an example, but Gabe committed mass annihilation to the rest of the council (Nanael was on break so he missed the grand spectial). Kinda an alcoholic, lives on caffeine and smells like coffee. Would have loved to punch a specific coworker in the face but is content with them being killed. Friends with Raziel.
Random angel facts
Raziel is god tier at carving and making sculptures
Nanael is a really good singer, like, he can hit every note in existence
Hamael is phenomenal at making drinks bartender style
And Puriel is stupid good at painting ((if he wasn't so much of an ass he would be the best painter ever))
Doodles
Fucking around with AI Harry Potter rp and made a whole thing that's basically a crossover with Hollow Knight, thought I'd write it down and get y'all's opinions on it. ((For the record, I know little to nothing about HP and that's probably gonna show))
It's gonna be long
The Kingdom of Hallownest
A sprawling kingdom hidden and isolated from the rest of the world, only recently opening it's society to the outside world, and swiftly caught by the Magical World due to the abnormal nature of their Kingdom, can't have a bunch of cave people with unknown magic interacting with the non-magic masses.
Masks and cloaks are a very important part of Hallownest's traditions, as showing your true face to strangers is taboo.
Soul Masters are the kingdoms equivalent to Wizards and Witches. They don't do crimes against humanity to get Soul powers, just a long time of learning and practicing.
Soul is what they call Magical Energy.
They seem bug-like but are mostly human, except for the whole living underground for generations. ((They do have bug genetics))
The Pale King and White Lady
The Monarchy of Hallownest are powerful figures and considered Higher Beings because of their powers. ((PK is less of an ass in this world))
PK is an engineer secretly, WL loves gardening.
They have many children. ((Totally not an experiment...))
PK surprisingly loves his children, WL is a great mother and takes care of every single child.
The children are called Vessels, but they all have individual names. ((WL went on a naming spree))
The Void and Vessels
The Void is a substance only found in Hallownest, some fear it, some revere it, but the Pale King uses it for his experiments. Vessels are a product of infusing Void into his unborn children, this was more out of curiosity than anything, they are completely mute, and have cloaks permanently attached to them, they have masks that are enchanted to bind to the Vessel and keep their inate powers under control.
The Radiance and Infection
The Radiance is another ruler, though her domain is the Crystal Peaks, which is attached to Hallownest. She and the Pale King went to war due to a misunderstanding, but the Vessel of the Void stopped them before it got really bad. The Infection was a curse put upon the citizens of Hallownest by The Radiance, but was dispelled after the Peace of Hallownest treaty.
Little Ghost and The Hollow Knight
Twin Vessels born before all the rest, Hollow Knight or just Hollow, was the strongest out of the two, while Ghost was more in-tune with the Void, ending up as The Shade Lord and revealing that the Void wasn't just a substance and was technically alive.
Deepnest and Hornet
Deepnest is a land below even Hallownest, hyper aggressive and brutal, the only way to keep his nation safe was to make a deal with the Ruler of Deepnest, Herrah the Beast, which ended with Hornet being conceived. Hornet herself was trained as a protector of Hallownest due to Deepnest's traditions saying the rulers protect their land or they are no rulers at all.
The Nightmare Heart and The Grimm Troupe
A nomadic faction who have traveled far in search of fuel for their God, which is negativity, The Grimm Troupe serve a being in between realities, and after the War of Lights ended The Radiance let the Nightmare Heart use part of her domain so that the Troupe would be able to stay in Hallownest and claim their own area.
Other Higher Beings and The Unity of Gods
Higher Beings are considered gods in the kingdom, Unn the one of Greenpath, the elusive Mushroom god, the Lifeblood beast, the Shade Lord, The Pale King, The White Lady, The Radiance, and The Nightmare Heart are the main and most powerful Higher Beings in Hallownest, while there are smaller ones they pale in comparison. The Unity of Gods was a way for all Higher Beings to have their domain and land as to not have to go to war and destroy countless lives.
The Ambassadors to the upper world
Due to the nature of Hallownest, it is considered a part of the Magical world, and isn't allowed to interact with the non-magic masses, and to integrate the kingdom, the King sends ambassadors with Soul Master status to share their culture and bring back news of the outside, some of the Kings children were even invited to join magical schools to further strengthen relations between them, which was accepted, and there are Vessels in almost every big school, usually only one or two in a school, since there is only so much space.
If you want you can use this for writing or art or stuff like that, it's just a thing that's been lingering in my small brain.
My Roblox Avatar is now also my Pressure OC.
Their name is Mirran and yes that is their actual head.
Worm head + doodle world neck cuff thing + Izanagi classic shirt and pants + Justice and Splendor ((yes I bought Gabe's fuckin swords and wear them proudly)) is the default avatar
Pressure Version
Weird prisoner with a worm head that was sentenced to death row for violence, murder and claiming they are a death god, they did murder people, but they were all even worse people than them. The respawn mechanic just made them think they truly are a death god because even after getting mauled by the Angler over 60 times and aren't dead.
Tldr: crazy worm person claims they are death and have been sentenced to execution by being thrown at demented monsters for the foreseeable future, more at 5.
Potential worm lore
Bitch might be an experiment by Urbanshade, since normal humans don't have furry green worm heads. Still on the fence with that one...
They are genderfluid, any pronouns are correct, unless it's ment as an insult, then you lose an arm to their sharp ass teeth.
The neck cuff doesn't show up on the in-game model, but IDC that's an important part of this shit fucks design. Why do they have it? Fuckin, uh, Urbanshade being assholes.
They technically have claws, because I can't refrain from making an Arsène reference in every fucking character I make... His swag is too strong for my simple brain.
My in-game model has Gabe's wings on, forgot to take it off and I'm too lazy to change it, same with Justice and Splendor, Mirran doesn't have the Gabe wings/halo or the swords cannonicly. Because that would be weird.
Cannonicly is fuckin blind in the dark/low light. They're just like me fr fr! ((I think I have night blindness))
Would kill for a flashlight, see above for reason why
+Enraged is my greatest achievement, so it's theirs as well, Eyefestation hates them.
Despises Angler and it's variants, Pandemonium, and other Rush-esk fuckers. ((I'm an idiot and always have stupid fuckin memes blasting into my ears when playing on my computer, so I can't hear the fucker, and sometimes I miss the lights flickering))
They still think they are a death god... Because I love Thanatos and my characters being absolutely fucking insane. And I think it would be funny for them to scream "I AM BECOME DEATH, DESTROYER OF WORLDS!" As they flashbang you and run away laughing, or alternatively committing acts of violence.
I don't read a lot of meta so there is every chance that this has been discussed before but my new ffxiv conspiracy theory is that the Garleans are an Allagan creation.
Reasoning:
Not being able to manipulate aether is an incredibly unusual trait for any creature on Hydaelyn considering that like fish can do it.
There is no mention of a Garlean equivalent on the First. (This can be explained away by the Flood but we are noting this as part of the larger picture here, ok?)
The origin of the people who would become the Garleans is said to be Goug, a Clockwork City. The Allagans were well known for their clockwork soldiers. (Note: The Gougians "abandoned" their clockwork city.)
The Gougians/Garleans eventually settled as peaceful farmers in Corvos and were forced off the land by the magic wielding races of the area. This information is obviously suspect given that only the Garleans seem to corroborate it and this is their basis for their imperialism, for now, note that the only other race known to be active in the area for certain is the G tribe of Miqo'te.
The Garleans have no problem using Allagan technology. This can also be explained by Emet-Selch but given how into bloodlines and bioengineering the Allagans are I think it's worth keeping in mind.
In the Bozja storyline, Gabranth is both said to have been researching Garlean ancestory and to have found "lost knowledge" about the Allagan Empire. Adding in the fact that he wants to establish a new nation in Goug....
Thus I propose:
The Goug were a product of Allagan bioengineering that were to serve as a labor/slave race (like with the Ixal.) Their inability to manipulate aether would have made them reliant on technology and thus ideal to have doing maintenance on machina.
The Gougians got run of the Clockwork City after the Allagan Empire collapsed. Being an island in the post-apocalypse, they lacked the resources (and possibly the magical prowess) to maintain it and are forced to abandon it for the greener pastures of Corvos.
The G Tribe, having been entrusted with the Allagan Royal Blood and a load of Allagan artifacts seem like the ideal people to get the Clockwork City up and running again. The G Tribe, who do not want Allag 2.0, refuse to help them.
Therefore the conflict that emerges is based around the Gougians wanting the Allagan artifacts and the G Tribe not wanting to give them over to the wrong hands.
The Gougians obviously lose this conflict and are forced north to the region that would later become Garlemald.
They are then easily found and manipulated by Emet-Selch, who probably knew of their origins from the get-go meaning that he is able to twist the truth into the story the Garleans are spouting now.
I do not know if I am right, odds are I've missed some things but tis a fun theory nonetheless :3
Cant see a section on the Allagan. Oh wise Mirke! Show me what you got!
The Great Allagan Empire
Encyclopedia Eorzea - The Birth of an Empire: “Approximately 5000 years ago, Eorzean civilization reached what can arguably be considered its peak - at least in the sense of technological advancement and overall influence on the rest of Hydaelyn - with the advent of the Allagan Empire and its spread north to Ilsabard, east to Othard, and south to Meracyda.”
Saint Coinach: Proving the Myth of Allag
The Raven - Dalamud Nigh: “’The future is but a reflection of the past’—so wrote Saint Coinach, who dedicated his life to excavating the ruins of the ancient Allagan Empire that the wisdom of ages past might be recovered.”
Encyclopedia Eorzea - Saint Coinach’s Find: “Nearly six centuries ago, a determined young man in Ul’dah by the name of Coinach would stumble upon what would prove to be the greatest discovery of the Sixth Astral Era - relics of the great Allagan Empire.
An Order of Nald’thal seminarian, Coinach was immensely clever, consistently receiving the highest marks amongst his peers. The Order had high hopes for the young prodigy and envisioned him a future leader in the church. These hopes crumbled to dust when Coinach became infatuated with stories of a long-lost empire briefly mentioned in holy scripture - Allag. Despite being less than a year from graduation, he abruptly abandoned his studies and began a fevered pursuit of knowledge on a subject most in the Order regarded at best as allegory. Turning a deaf ear to the pleas of his professors, Coinach was expelled from the seminary and eventually ostracized by his closest companions. This, however, only fueled the young man’s passion to prove his detractors wrong.
To fund his obsession, Coinach became a merchant - every coin earned put into the acquisition of ancient tomes and the overseeing of exploratory digs in remote locations across the realm. It was not until the year before he passed away - over five decades after his search began - that Coinach finally found what he was looking for in a sparsely populated corner of Mor Dhona. Once a laughingstock in academic circles, Coinach was now a hero. Universities begged him to join their staff, while sponsors from across Eorzea showered him with coin to finance future excavations. Further vindication was achieved after his death when he was canonized, not by the order which forsook him, but by the followers of Thaliak, the Scholar. Coinach’s name lives on to this day in the Sons of Saint Coinach - an organization dedicated to the continuation of the eponymous archaeologist’s work.”
Kan-E-Senna: “Perchance you are familiar with Saint Coinach? He is among the revered figures whose images grace guildleves. In Saint Coinach’s time, the ancient Allagan Empire was no more than a myth. He dedicated his life to proving that it truly existed, and for his tireless labors was raised to sainthood. Saint Coinach taught us the value of passion - a quality I am pleased to see you possess in abundance.”
This has been a massive undertaking that I have put off for a really long time. There’s just so much information woven throughout the world that ties back to Allag. Even after dedicating most of a week’s free time to researching, transcribing, and compiling everything below, I’m still not sure I’ve found everything about Allag that’s out there.
The scope of Allag’s influence across Hydaelyn, even today is incredible. From religion to modern technology taken from the ancients, to fashion and economy, or to entire races, cultures, even ecosystems which owe their creation (or inspiration) to Allag. There’s no way to fully encompass that in one post, but I tried.
For more lore on the History of Allag, Allagan technology, aetherobiology and chemistry and cloning, the Crystal Tower, Summoning and Summoners, Primals and Eikons, Phlegethon and other heroes who rebelled against Allag, the Meracydian campaign, the Warring Triad, Bahamut, Dalamud, the fall of the Allagan Empire and its aftermath, Ultima and Omega Weapons, the Meteor Project eras later, the White Raven, the Sons of Saint Coinach and NOAH, Azys Lla, Tomestones, and everything else Allag left behind… click the [Read More] link below!
