Lore update on the construction gopro
VE (E is for "Excavar" btw) The only one of it's kind, as it wasn't ever green lit for mass production, the day after it was originally completed was supposed to be the day it's creators presented it to the big company that made machines, but all hell broke loose (literally and figuratively) that day, and it wasn't long before humanity got snuffed out, leaving it nothing more than a built proof of consept.
It's original creator was Hispanic, a robot creator who wasn't payed enough for their work, they had planned to sneak their creation out of the facility it was housed in a day before it was sent off to be shown off to the higher ups, out of spite. But as they were getting away with their active creation the truck crashed due to a rogue machine during the start of the end to humanity.
Relationships
VE Is friends with the Ferryman, after awhile of it following him around and coming back to the ship every now and then with different coins from the surface, though at first he was just annoyed that the metal thing wouldn't leave him alone, but eventually accepted it's presence.
A crappy doodle
It dislikes V2 because he is a cocky SOB, and he thinks that VE "Isn't a true V model." Because it was made by a different person than he and V1 was.
Moar stuff about VE
Due to being a construction machine, it hates all the broken buildings left over from humanities annihilation, it has the urge to fix it all, even when it knows it's impossible.
Has special pads on the bottom of it's feet, the more weight is on top of it, little spikes come out to help brace and keep the thing up, like soccer cleats but more extreme.
Can't speak words, closest it can get is replaying words it's heard from others, it has a recorder in it, and it eventually figures out how to prank others with it- "I am the superior Machine, you're nothing but scrap." - something V2 said to VE and it repeated it after finding him with his arm gone from his first fight with V1. Safe to say V2 now had 2 other Machines on his shit list.
VE is 110% a horder, it's able to store little things in its arm-wings, since they're made of the same stuff as V1 and V2's wings, but it has a much lower capacity.
Aaaaand thats about it for now, don't got any new art of the machine, cuz motivation is harder to come by than blood on the surface after humanity was deleted.

VE but foomph
I based it on a Maned Wolf, because Muzzle said that V1 and V2 are both wearing wolf outfits, so I thought, why not dress them up in a wolf but not quite a wolf? Shows that while the 3 look very similar, they are completely different things all together!
Also look at them gangly arms and leggs, fits my long armed toaster

Made VE in whatever Mirage's world thing is. They are basically the really strong kid who helps with things like, making and setting up stage props (for like, a school show or something), helping the P.E teacher put the more heavy things away, and also being a menace to them skittish bullies that would die on the spot is the strong kid was like "whatcha doing here?" But suprisingly they don't do any sports.

Added visible spike pads on feet, changed the arms a bit (Normal and Wings).

This is the gremlin version I'll probably use in my silly drawings, its a little different than the main one, mostly the pelvis/hip part, which is made to look kinda like Orpheus from Persona 3, and the eye being more expressive.

Finally giving VE a weapon, it's a sword, why? VE is a phys attacker, melee is it's specialty, crushing people like soda cans with those wing arms. Plus it can't make ammo like V1 and V2 can, as it's blood usage is primarily healing and repair based. So it would have to scrounge for the materials and sacrifice its already small amount of blood to make more constantly as it runs primarily on thermal energy, not blood. It's plating doesn't absorb blood as fast as V1 and is much thicker, but it can use old blood unlike V1 and V2 who need fresh blood.
All in all, guns aren't it's specialty, punching shit until it explodes in a rain of confetti or a shower of blood and organs. Or in this case, stabbing and slashing things into ribbons.
Plus it thought the Swordsmachine looked cool as fuck.

It doesn't think its doing anything wrong, but once you tell it why it shouldn't, it'll respect that and not do it again, no matter how intrusive the thoughts are, unless it doesn't like you, then it will just do it more.
It's ai is an in-between of V1 and V2, cuz neither would work on it's software so their creator messed with copies of V1 and V2's ai to make theirs. So it has the curiosity and unrelenting force of V1, but can understand emotions somewhat decently like V2.
Aftermath
Moar weapon lore below the cut, this one's gonna be long
VE's sword is of their own creation, they found an old art book from pre-humanity's destruction (some official game art or something), it being the curious shit it is it looks at it for awhile, finding some cool weapons on a character, it liked the design and added a "side mission" to the objectives list it has to find materials and such to make a functional recreation of the cool characters sword, just below the "Humanity is Dead, Hell is Full, Blood is Fuel" ping that all machines that use blood as a fuel source (primary or not) got one day.
While following the strange mission sent by who knows what, it finds an entrance to Hell (I like to think there's more than one way to get into hell other than the one V1 takes) and desends, eventually reaching a Terminal, and seeing that it can help create the sword, but in exchange for points (the Terminals want entertainment, why not dangle something the machine really wants to get that entertainment) and obviously it agrees and goes on a violent crusade for points, the Terminals loaded the whole point counter and style meter into VE's software, since it was capable of doing so but was never properly connected to the Terminal network since it wasn't really ever ment to go exploring Hell.
The Terminals found its way of fighting quite interesting since it had no firearms of any kind, even Swordsmachines had a gun to go with the sword, while VE was solely a melee fighter, very different and interesting. The Terminals eventually did a scan for it's Model and such to see whats up with it, finding that it was the only Excavar Model in existence, even the V Model had multiple iterations, this obviously made the Terminals curious, so they would keep a figurative eye on this one (and V1 obviously).
VE eventually returned with the points, and some extra blood to spare, the Terminals fulfilled their end of the deal, fabricating the sword it wanted, and revealed that since it was a construction machine they would also exchange points to make more weapons, if it so wished, and VE kept that in mind as it continued it's descent into Hell, just like all the other machines there.
Now some actual facts about the sword itself! It has a special magnet in the hilt that makes it return to VE's hand (think like Star Wars when Jedi use the force to get their Lightsabers back). And it is extremely durable, wouldn't want your only weapon getting destroyed easy. VE has actually named the sword, why? It remembered seeing words on the same art book that it originally saw the sword in, it calls it "Moonlight Edge" as the game the book was connected to was very focused on the moon for some reason.

It also has diggy front claws and the spike pads on the back, the front ones are slightly hollowed out like a shovel, perfect for making unnecessary holes in the ground
And also, it's neck has a few ball joints that make it able to move its head in all directions
