Some Au svsss fic ideas...
1 In a very broken version of Canon, shortly after his transmigration Shen Yuan ends up a subject of a prophecy where he's named the wife of the Demon Emperor… except there's no word of who's the actual Demon Emperor in question is and hell if Shen Yuan will say anything on the matter. While the world debates whether the prophecy means he's the reincarnation of a past Empress or the eventual wife of a future Emperor, the demon realms decide to just make things simple and put him in the throne. Aka, Shen Yuan is forced to become the regent of a nonexistent empire while half of the Demon world looks to challenge his authority, and the other half tries to win his hand in marriage.
2 Shen Yuan is an alien observer trying and failing to adhere to first contact protocols while observing the world of PIDW. The system is his AI companion there to assist and keep him on track. They are both bad at their jobs.
3 Shen Yuan transmigrates into a post apocalyptic version of the canon PIDW after Bing-ge let the world fall into a ruin post "Bing-mei vs Bing-ge extra". With his broken System insisting that he's Shen Qingqiu now, Shen Yuan begins to rebuild the destroyed Cang Qiong Mountain Sect. (Possibly via necromancy).
4 During a drunken episode of feeling sorry for himself and his lot in life, Shang Qinghua writes a short story where one of his Shixiongs is taken over by a genre savvy transmigrator - and soon after Shen Qingqiu changes. Realising very quickly what happened, Shang Qinghua begins plotting to do it again - this time intentionally.
5 Emperor Binghe decides to relive his life but due to some sort of mistake is born as his own identical twin. Elsewhere, the System has an error during Shen Yuan's transmigration and rewrites the canon to give Shen Qingqiu a twin as well.

I don’t think that Luo Binghe just hates himself enough that he’s willing to overlook Shen Qingqiu’s early abuse of him in svsss. On the contrary, I think that lbh’s willingness to see good in Shen Yuan’s sqq despite that early childhood abuse done by Shen Jiu (who we are never told he knows is separate from Shen Yuan’s sqq) is because 1) Shen Yuan transmigrated when lbh was juuuuuust young enough to still (at least partially) believe that it was his own actions that made people like or dislike him, so sqq’s sudden flip to treating him well validated his idea that doing well = being treated well, and 2) he, like everyone else, assumed it was sqq’s qi deviation that changed sqq’s personality, so why should he hold a grudge against someone who may not even remember their previous actions and shows no signs of returning to them, especially when he had not gone through the event that cemented his pidw version’s commitment to repaying harm with 100x worse harm?
But on that note, sqq then throwing him into the abyss in Shen Yuan’s timeline both 1) breaks lbh of his belief that doing well = being treated well by forcing him to contend with the idea that someone may hate him for who he is, regardless of his actions and 2) leads him to believe that he is the cause of sqq’s abuse of him, because why else would his otherwise loving shizun who used to abuse him but then suddenly stopped try to murder him out of nowhere after discovering that he is a demon but after telling him that demons are not inherently evil? Must be a him problem, right? (On the other hand, the abyss scene in pidw is what showed bingge the truth that sqq’s abuse of him was never justified or about anything lbh ever did/didn’t do).
Days 1-3 of mxtxtober
It's so nice to be motivated to draw again. I feel like for the longest time I haven't been burnt out, just, uninspired. I don't known if I can finish the entire month, but I'll do as much as I can!

I feel like not enough people acknowledge that Tianlang Jun only found out he had a son after his son had become a full grown adult with a career. Therefore I propose a modern au where TLJ and LBH have their first meeting when they table at yaoicon across from each other on complete coincidence (they both make doujins about Shen Qingqiu. Of course) and people keep telling them they look just like brothers so they decide to take DNA tests just for shits and giggles and then they find out that they've literally been father and son the whole time
The power dynamic between Bingqiu is so complex and unhinged.
On the one hand, Shen Qingqiu is the Shizun, and Luo Binghe the disciple. He still pretty much serves and defers to him as such. Shen Qingqiu is the master, the elder, the superior, in a way that can never change in a culture so steeped in respect for such hierarchies, and where reversal or equalization is simply not a thing. Shen Qingqiu himself still refers to himself as "this master" for most of the story (even post canon? I can't remember), and the one quality he appreciates in Luo Binghe (at least that he says aloud) is his obedience. In both their minds, he's very firmly the one who raised and trained Luo Binghe - though with very different connotations depending on who you ask.
On the other hand... well... Luo Binghe plays the obedient puppy-ish disciple, but he pretty much cute/pathetic-bullies his way into anything he wants, because Shen Qingqiu is weak to him and can't say no. So Luo Binghe plays submissive, cries a little, then gets to top Shen Qingqiu into next Sunday in the most unfillial way imaginable lol. Also, and I cannot stress this enough, he's the most powerful person in the world, he doesn't have to serve anyone in a humble cottage. He literally has an empire and is a ruler, but he plays housewife and meek disciple to this one spoiled guy who gave him the correct manual once and head-patted him with abandon.
Also let's not forget that, to Luo Binghe, Shen Jiu and Shen Yuan are pretty seamlessly the same person. This serial head-patter is also the guy who poured hot tea on him and would string him up to beat him and made him sleep in the woodshed like a particularly miserable Cinderella. To him, one day, his cruel master deemed him worthy of his love after he made him go through many trials, and then slam-dunked him into the abyss, and then self-destructed to save him and then turned out to be alive and avoiding him like the plague and then sulked because Luo Binghe did not properly ask his hand in marriage. Luo Binghe may be the most powerful man in the world and have Shen Qingqiu wrapped around his manipulative golden little finger, BUT the grip and ascendant Shen Qingqiu possesses over Luo Binghe's psyche is unparalleled.
BUT the other side of this equation is that Shen Qingqiu feels so guilty, and loves Luo Binghe so much, he can't bear to make him unhappy and folds like a wet paper towel any time there is the merest hint of tears - which is a conscious strategy on Luo Binghe's part! Shang Qinghua told him acting pathetic works, and it does, and so he milks it! Who knows how much of it is real? Not me. Not Shen Qingqiu either, who also does not care that he's being manipulated. He knows he's being manipulated! But it works anyway!
Because what are you going to do when a cute puppy makes sad eyes at you?? Not give him the bit of meat???
You're his master but he owns your heart so that's your fate, now. He's huge and could maul you but he loves you too much and prefers to act spoiled. He sits when you say sit, comes when you say come. You tell him no but he climbs into your lap anyway and you are helpless to stop him so you pet him. It's messy, full of pathos, possibly unhealthy. You're both living your best life.
