Imagine: Taking care of Matt.

You were used to fact that during nights life of your boyfriend was dangerous. You were also used to the fact, that he was returning every morning in one piece.

Not until THAT night.

You were in your bed, trying to fall asleep. You wrapped yourself tight in a blanket and nuzzled to Matt’s pillow, inhaling his scent. Suddenly you heard loud noises coming from living room. A loud noise of something smashed by some other stuff. You slowly got up from bed and took your baseball batt. You went to living room, watching your ever step.

You stepped into big room, ready to see a robber or someone like that, but the room was empty. At last that was what you were thinking. Suddenly you saw your boyfriend Matt still in his daredevil costume, laying on top of crushed coffee table.

You quickly threw your batt away and ran to him. “Matt… Mattie… what happened?!" you got onto floor next to him and took off his mask, tossing it aside.

He was really confiused, Matt couldn’t even say a word. You were really suprised and happy that he was even able to get back home. You gently touched his face to calm him down, he only caught both of your hands really tight. You hissed. “Hey… Hey.. Matt… it’s me, Y/N, it’s okay, you are home. You are safe…” Matt was breathing heavily. “Y/N…” he said and slowly started to calm down.

It took you some time to took off his whole costium. You took it to bedroom and left it there. 

Matt got up and with big problem he sat down on couch, whimpering from pain.  You looked at him and it hurt you. He was covered in wounds, bigger and smaller one, the same was about bruises. You took first aid kit and went to him. Matt looked at you. “I’m sorry… I just… there was too many of them… and they…. they got me… I was scared… that I won’t return to you” he whimpered sadly. You smiled sadly and put first aid kit away, than you hugged him gently. Matt sighed heavily and nuzzled to your hair, inhaling your scent. You stroked his hair gently. “It’s okay… you are back. Now I'm gonna take care of you.”  Matt only nodded “Okay… okay… Thank you.”  You kissed his forehead gently, after that you started to take care of his wounds. Later you took shower with him making sure that you washed off whole blood that left on his body. After that, you took him to bed. Matt slowly wrapped himslef in the blanket and nuzzled to his pillow. You were happy, because you knew that now he was happy and he was safe in home with you. You laid next to him and took his hand into yours, than you looked at him.  Matt only smiled “Your hands are so soft… Good night Y/N.” You smiled and closed your eyes too. Both of you fell asleep really quickly.

At morning, when you were in kitchen, you heard some noises in bedroom but not too loud. You good knew it was Matt who's looking for his normal clothes. He went to the kitchen, wearing only pants and hoodie. “Morning” You said happily “Morning, Y/N.” Matt responded and wrapped arms around your waist, nuzzling to your shoulder “I don’t wanna go to work… I don’t wanna leave you…” He murmured. You giggled and stroked his hair “I know… and you don’t have to go there today. I called Foggy and I told him that you are sick.” Matt laughed and kissed your cheek “My angel… I guess that every devil needs his angel.”  You giggled “I would say that ever man needs a woman, that will love him… but you summary is good too.”  Matt sighed happily “I love you, Angel.” “I love you too, devil.” You said eagerly before both of you shared a passionate kiss.

Imagine: Taking care of Matt’s hands.

Everything was fine before that weird earthquake that happened so suddenly.

It was scary and confusing, you had no idea what just happened, but you could see trough huge window of your and Matt’s flat that it was bad, really, really bad.

But the most weird thing happened to Matt, you watched him confused before he just ran out of flat, without saying anything.

You spend hour watching the news in the tv, than you decided to go to bed, even if you were really freaking out by this earthquake, but you were too tired to stay up.

You slowly walked to bedroom and laid in your and Matt’s bed, you couldn’t sleep. You were thinking what he was doing, where was he, if he was okay.

Finally you fell asleep but you had been quickly woken up by the sound of the door.

‘Matt’, You thought and quickly sat up on bed to look into living room.

There he was, he looked so angry, all you could hear was his panting. He tried to look trough first aid kit but he was too angry, and he failed.

You watched, how Matt, full of anger pushed box off of the table. You were surprised that he didn’t call you or didn’t try to find you. You quickly got up from bed and walked to him.

“Matt… Matt what are you doing? What’s wrong with you?” You asked and started picking up stuff from the floor.

“[Y/N]… I am sorry. I just had to go… just, I heard so many voices, screams, begging for help.” He said and sat on couch, Matt slowly hide face into his hands. Then you could see why he was looking trough aid kit, his knuckles were completely bruised  even wounded in some places.

“You fought without anything on your hands..” you said quietly and slowly raised up from the floor with aid kit in your hands, Matt only nodded. You sat next to him and took his hand into yours.

“Let me take care of this, Matty.” You said quietly and he let you do with his hand whatever your have wanted.

You started slowly clean his fist off of blood, you were really gently with his hands. You washed his hands precisely and started carefully wrapping them in bandages.

“Next time… tell me where are you going, and maybe… put on the suit again.” You said quietly.

Matt looked into your direction and nodded.

“I… I will… I need to do something. I’m sorry, angel.” He said and took your face into his hands.

You nodded and gently nuzzled to his hands.

“I know… My devil.” You smiled sadly.

Matt kissed you gently.

“I need to go now…” He muttered and left. “Love you, Angel!” He said before closing door.

“I love you too, devil.” You giggled sadly and shook your head.

„Soo… He is like..” Tony looked at Steve over papers that he held in hand, frowning softy.

“Blinde… Yea I know that… but he is good, it took me a while to make sure about this but he is good, really good.” Steve said. “Like really really good. You should see his skills, the things that he can do. He fights like normal person, even better. He fights like a real hero.”

Tony rolled his eyes. “Come on, Steve! This guy’s blinde, blinde like a mole. I don’t believe you, how someone like he can even call himself a hero?”

“Have you read newspapers? He is all over them… maybe we should at last try… give him a chance. Pleaseee Tony.” Steve sighed sadly making kind of a puppy eyes.

“Okaaaay! Fine!” Tony muttered. “If something will happen, it will be your responsibility, Cap.” Man said.

“It always is my responsibility..” Steve said quietly to himself.

“What?” Tony frowned.

“No! Nothing! Thanks, Tony.” Steve said and left.

Matt felt a bit uncomfortable, he didn’t really know this new place very well. He also wasn’t really sure about him joining Avengers, it was so out of place. Well yes, he was a hero but he wasn’t like any member of Avengers. However he came anyway.

Cap and Bucky walked into room, Steve looked at Matt and then at Bucky. Bucky only shrugged and sat on a couch.

Steve smiled at Matt and offered him hand. “Mathew Murdock, am I right?”

“Yes, Captain, but Matt is enough.”

Tony walked into the room and looked at Cap. “Steve…. He is blinde. He for sure won’t see your hand.” He laughed.

Steve smiled awkwardly and immediately his face became red. Bucky rolled his eyes and took Tony’s empty cup from a coffee table. “Hey! Devil! Catch this!” He yelled and threw cap into Matt’s direction. Man caught it without problem. “I knew that second guy was there.” Matt said happily.

Tony blinked and frowned softly. “Whatever! And YOU! Never threw my stuff” He growled and left. Bucky only laughed. “I love to piss him off.”

“Um… Thanks Bucky. So… Matt? Welcome to Avengers?” Bucky only facepalmed when Steve again offered his hand to Matt, this guy was just too nice.

Matt smiled and nodded. “Thank you Captain Rogers.” Matt said and took Steve’s hand. “I hope that cooperation will be successful.”

Icy Adventure || Ice Skating For The First Time AU

SUMMARY: Ice skating is your life. Matt, as your friend, wants to try it with you for the first time.

A/N: AU written for @caplansteverogers​ writing challenge.

You and Matt were friends many years now. He was a great lawyer and you were a young promising figure skater. You two were really close, he was your only real best friend. Despite the fact that Matt was blind, he still was coming to see your trainings or shows and to take you back home. You could always see his smile.

It was really sweet of his, until he got this crazy idea.

You were tying up his skates. "Matty? Are you sure about that? You know you don't have to do this."

He was leaning against a balustrade separating you from the ice rink.

"Hey. I've told you before. I'll try at least. Who doesn't risk, doesn't gain success."

Matt were already having his skates on. He was waiting at you to finish with your skates.

"It may be funny."

You shook head and laughed.

"The man without fear, huh?" You said as you finished. "Okay, now we can go, Matty. Grab my arm."

slowly entered the ice rink with Matt. It felt like home, but you looked at your friend worriedly. "How is it for you?"

"Hehe hehe..." he laughed shortly and within second he ended up on the cold ice hitting himself hardly in the back. "Oh Lord! I didn't think it's gonna be so slippy!"

He slowly rolled on his tummy and knelt carefully.

"Y/N, can you?" he questioned reaching his hand. "I won't get up by my own. Not this time, haha!"

You jumped a bit when Matt fell down. "Oh God, Matty. You see? That's why I didn't like this idea. This isn't your thing." You said and took his hand to help him up. "Now slowly... one foot... now the second one."

You smiled happily when he was standing on both feet. "There you go." You grabbed both of his hands tightly. "Do you trust me, Matty?"

He was trying to stop his knees from shaking but failed, in a result his legs again started to separate.

"Let's say I do.. To be honest, in my current position even if you'd be my enemy I'd have to trust you." He laughed making few little steps to put his legs back together. "Gosh. I can't catch the balance."

You waited until he catched some balance. "I told you it's a stupid idea, Matt. Now, take few breaths and stay calm." You ordered and pushed yourself off, pulling him slowly behind you.

"I got you, Matty." You whispered and started picking up on speed a little bit.

He couldn't help. He yelled loudly, but soon his yells turned into pure laughter.

"Aaahhh! This! Is! Awesome, Y/N!"

He was holding your hands strongly securing himself from falling down again.

You laughed loudly, observing his every reaction.

"You see, Matty? This feels so amazing, that's why I love it so much. I feel free." You explained and changed your direction. "How do you feel? Do you enjoy it?"

"I do!" He let your hands to clap his own. Matt completely forgot he had to hold on you and because of the previous speed you both got, he slided furter on ice

"Y/N! Look! LOOK! I'm standing! I'm sliding!!!" he laughed happily.

Unfortunately, taking Matt was blind, it didn't help him at all in avoiding obstacles. He hit in the balustrade with the full impetus, falling down.

You watched him and hissed covering your eyes when he hit the balustrade.

You rushed to him and got on your knees. "Matty? Hey, are you okay?" You asked taking his face into your hands. "I think we should end this for today."

"One more lap! Please!"

Matt caught the balustrade and pulled up getting back onto his feet. "One last time! It's the best fun I've ever had!"

You blinked surprised. "Okay, let's go."

You used balustrade to pull yourself up, then took his hands in yours.

You took him for another two laps, but after that, you walked off of the ice.

"I hope you didn't hurt yourself too much, Matty." You asked as both of you sat down on a bench.

"Trust me, Y/N, I went through worse things than that" he giggled happily. "It was worth all of this."

He leant down to take off the skates.

"Can you take me here more often, Y/N? I would like to learn ice skating. I think when I'll practice it'll be my another attribute."

"I can... only if you will stop hit the balustrade." You said with a soft smile and leant down to take off the skates.

After few minutes you left the building holding Matt by his arm.

You nuzzled to him softly on your way to his flat.

"It was really great, Matty. You were good but you need to be more careful.

"I know. I bet with you by my side I'll learn how to bw careful."

When you got to his flat he gave you a tight hug. "Thank you once again for today, Y/N." He muttered opening the door. But before he got inside, he turned to you and grabbed your hand. Matt pulled you to him and kissed you briefly.

You blinked but kissed him back, purring quietly into the kiss and wrapping your arms around his neck.

You broke the kiss and looked at him "W... What was that, Matty?" You asked shyly with a big smile on your lips.

"Just... Something" he said blushing. "Do you want.. Come in maybe? Of course if you don't have other plans.." he offered.

You took his hand and walked Inside with him. "No... I don't have other plans." You said, closing door Behind you.
