A/N: Hi everyone! I have a surprise for the IzuOcha fans so here ya go, my alternate ending of chapter 429!! (w/o class 1a interrupting them)
Warnings: None! Yes, Ochaco may be sad but not for long..

"Uraraka!"
Ochaco turns to see Izuku shouting her name thus running to her, his body emitting that same emerald glow of his quirk in the evening. She always found it so intriguing but her somberness was getting in the way of how she really felt. A dear friend just died in her near presence! What can Izuku help with that?? Ochaco wipes away her tears before Izuku came any closer to her. She shields her face, preventing him from seeing her round features.
Izuku knew deep in his being that something was wrong with the girl ever since the biggest conflict in Japan happened. He could ask a thousand questions but instead he stays silent, a look of confusion appearing on his face.
"I told you I was going home, Deku. Why did you come here?" Ochaco faintly speaks.
"I had a gut feeling that you were going to be at this place, after all this is where we last talked before we fought in the war. Also you had some advert look on your face ever since you returned from the hospital, is anything wrong?" Deku responds.
Oh, The War. That same war where a certain female psychopath sacrificed her life for Ochaco's alone. They were about to become friends..until she got stabbed. It wasn't supposed to end that way and it sent a wrenching feeling in Ochaco's heart.
"But why?"
Izuku takes two more steps closer to her, the confusion slowly turning into concern in his eyes. His tone takes a softer approach as he says, "Sorry, I just wanted to show you something.."
Show me what?
"You have always prioritized others before yourself, ever since the Entrance exam, you gave points to me, remember? And then all those other times?.."
How could she not remember that? All the various memories came flooding back to her, The Sports Festival, the Hero License Exam and the Joint Training with Class B. All of those events was a point where she put her crush before her. For Izuku.
It was always for Izuku.
But that only leads to one question; How does that make her a hero and what does that have to do with what's she's dealing with right now??
Tears started to prick at her eyes once more, she starts to lower her guard, trying to contain the lump of sadness in her throat.
"What I'm trying to say is that...
"You're my hero Ochaco Uraraka!!" Izuku admits loudly, "And being that way doesn't make you a bad person, you reached out to Toga like I did with Tenko, we all tried our very best but I think you did it the hardest out of anyone in our class."
Ochaco's brown eyes started to flood with tears.
I am his hero??
Izuku continues, "I can't keep taking your great strength for granted..please take my hand and tell me what's going on.". He reaches his hand out to Ochaco, knowing it has saved a few lives before, now with Ochaco being the next...
Within seconds she couldn't take it anymore, she clung to Izuku and took both of his hands and sobbed heavily into his chest as hard as she could until she couldn't no more. Well, she knew that bottling up her feelings wasn't good for her health, she had to vent someday. But now that Izuku was here with her, embracing her, she could finally put her mind at ease as she needed to pour her feelings out to someone she could really trust.
"I-It's not fair, Deku! Wh-why did she have to get stabbed instead of me? If only-if only I could have done something to save her.." Ochaco cries, her voice trembling.
The image of Ochaco flushed red face, crying her eyes out not only shocked Izuku, it kind of hurt, especially in his heart, hes just never seen her like this. He could feel his own waterworks starting from his eye ducts.
He would do anything to make her smile again.
"I understand your pain Uraraka, when i was fighting Shigaraki, I was trying to save the inner child named Tenko that was within him, he was sad and just needed to be reached out to, but by the time it was too late since he was combined with All For One. I had no choice but to defeat him..." Izuku's voice wobbles, "Sure, it hurts sometimes,but that's why we have plenty of help and even friends to get us through it, but we have to move through the pain someday. Besides we have quite a future ahead of us..you still want to be a hero, right?"
The green haired boy wanly smiles, quietly signaling the girl to do the same.
"Of course..I'll just have to get used to the fact that people are willing to put their lives in danger for heroes they honor..like Toga did for me."
A weak smile starts to appear on Ochaco's round face. She sniffles a bit while her eyes eventually dry up.
She looks so beautiful when she smiles
"You have such a smart way with words Deku..I'm glad that you're still alive and stuff." Ochaco says, with a light chuckle.
"I'm very glad that you're still here, all of Class A survived, but who I was mostly concerned about was you..and Kacchan sorry-" Izuku apologizes instantly until Ochcao gives him a reassuring hum.
"It's okay. How is he doing also?"
"He's going to physical therapy, even though he doesn't want to because he thinks it makes him weak. Y'know, typical Kacchan." Deku answers.
"Yep, that pretty much sounds like him." Ochaco chuckles.
"Yeah.."
And once silence finally falls between them, he looked down at his feet and they were off the ground! All that comforting talk must have blinded him when she activated her quirk on accident when her hands came in contact with his.
"Oh! Im floating!" he exclaims, kicking his feet like it was going to work to get him down as Ochaco laughs at his goofiness, "You just noticed?"
The green haired boy usually would have died of embarrassment, but instead he laughed along with her, filling the atmosphere with a much more lighter mood for a change. Ocahco laugh fades to giggles as she takes in Izuku still laughing. This is what she wanted to do with him. Every. Single. Day. Seeing him beam like the sun was her magnum opus. And nothing could change that in her mind.
After the laughter fades, Ochaco blushes as she asked, "Hey, can i um..do something?"
"Hm? What is it?"
"Ever since we met, I have always wanted to...you know..do something more than just a handhold.
Izuku lightly gasps, whipping his head from left to right, making sure he sees no one sneaking up on them. All of his classmates decided to go home so its only them.
And them alone
"Y-you mean?" Izuku stutters.
"I mean, it's okay if you don't want to!" Ocahco blurts out nervously, squeezing her eyes shut whilst shaking her head as her blush becomes more noticeable. She never could know if the floaty feeling in her cnest was fear or love. But she would be oblivious to know that it is in fact love.
"No! I was just taken aback is all..," he says as he leans in until both of their foreheads touch,them now gazing at each other closer than ever. Ochaco could almost see the moon in Izuku's eyes, its like a sparkly little galaxy in there that she could gladly get lost in. As for Izuku, sure Ochaco's orbs of vision look dark as midnight now since it was dark outside, but now he could see light within her features, like the sadness completely wared off since he showed up. He's never been so happy to be so near her right now and he knows his girl thinks the same.
A feeling of boldness strikes through Ochaco's being as she happily offers with a smile, "Just shut up and kiss me, hero."
She pulls him closer and their lips finally mend for the first time in forever.
The kiss was gentle,full of emotion, sparking a whole new sense of accomplishment through the two teenagers. Ochaco felt like she could float herself the second her lips touched Izuku's. They were soft just as she imagined, a little rugged but she wasn't going to complain one bit. She wanted this as much as Izuku did, it was almost like fireworks going off in her brain.
Izuku takes the chance to quickly grab her by the shoulders and instantly deepen the kiss more. If he was going to make this free, blooming feeling in his whole body last a bit longer, he was going to waste every last breath in this kiss for her.
Shortly, Izuku pulls back, bretahing and his feet are back on solid ground. The first thing he sees is his dear Ochaco blushing once again, maybe more brighter than ever before.
"..that was..um..wow.." Ochaco admits in between breaths, smiling as her blush makes a great hue on her skin from the moonlight.
"Very wow." Izuku repeats with a light chuckle,letting his hands slide off her shoulders. He felt like he was growing a new aura from what they finally did for the first time, he wanted to run a whole mile with her after that, as far as the night could take them. But for now he just wated to spend just a little bit more time before they actually have to go back to their homes.
Ochaco finally then turns to the beautiful view of the new, renovated city. The lights illuminating from far beyond the cliff. She sits down and pats a space of grass beside her as Izuku quickly joins in, wrapping an arm around her. Immediately, Ochaco sinks into his comforting embrace under the stars.
"The city looks amazing from up here..hey, thank you Deku for-"
"You don't need to thank me Uraraka. I will always be there for you, no matter what. Also one bright city wouldn't be enough to be more amazing than you."
The brown eyed girl giggles at Izuku's compliment as the pair snuggles close, enjoying each others company, talking about what the next year of school would be like and what not and then sharing silence once in a while.
"So, do you think we should go back home now?" Ochaco asks, not really wanting to leave but she knows how worried her parents get if she doesn't come home in time.
"I'll walk you home, its already dark out anyway." Izuku gladly offers, grunting as he stands up to stretch his legs and arms. How did she get a loyal boy like him on her side?
Ochaco gets up on her feet as she grins at Izuku, "Sure thing, my hero."
Joining hands again, they walk away from the clifftop, a lone flower blows in the wind as if marking where the first most happiest memory sprouted after the most life changing conflict.

Shouto doesnāt like the way he looks in photographs. Katsuki is determined to change that.
I know I don't have much of an mha audience on here since I mostly post bsd, but fuck it, bakugou rarepair headcanons bc I cannot stop thinking about them
BakuTsuyu
As the eldest daughter, Tsuyu has some sort of power over Katsuki no one else understands. As an only child he never stood a chance
People often notice how Katsuki starts only listening to Tsu. Kaminari asks him to get him a water bottle, Kats grunts at him to do it himself. But when Tsu asks for it? He's off his feet and gives it to her without a word. Not even a grunt or sign of complaint.
Tsuyu may be calm and soft spoken, which contrasts Katsuki in every way, but that's actually what makes them work.
She's one of the only people who can counter his angry insults without even getting annoyed or upset. She has this superpower and people start calling her the "Bakugou Whisperer"
If someone wants Katsuki to do something, they ask Tsuyu to ask him to do it, bc they know he only will if she's the one asking.
When they go out to the mall with the rest of their class, Tsuyu stays by Katsuki out of instinct. He usually walks a little farther away from the rest of the group but she stays close to him like she's watching over him.
When they pass by a toy store, Katsuki can't help but play with the toys on display, and when he does Tsuyu silently waits for him to finish before they continue walking. No one else does this, and it's like some sort of unwritten rule for the two of them.
Sometimes, when the group is talking loudly and don't hear Tsu speak at all, Katsuki makes use of his big booming voice to tell them to shut up and listen to her speak. Everyone immediately quiets down and Tsuyu gets the chance to actually be heard.
While Tsu absolutely can stand up for herself, especially around Katsuki, she has trouble doing so around strangers. So if she's too meek to speak up against someone who bumped into her or cut in front of her in a line, Katsuki's there to be her guard dog and tell that person off.
Katsuki can be vulnerable around her. I feel like that's the peak when it comes to his relationships--when he can trust them enough to see him be weak.
While he doesn't show it to the rest, Tsuyu can immediately tell when he's in an off mood. And she doesn't force him to talk about it if he's not comfortable. Instead she makes sure she accompanies him, even if they're not talking, just so he knows he's not alone. She doesn't realize how much this means to Katsuki.
It's the other way around for Katsuki. He also has a sixth sense when it comes to her emotions, so he can easily tell when she's not alright. But she tends to keep that to herself as to not bother others. However he makes sure she makes her feelings heard, even if it's just to him, and listens to her when she vents. As someone who's considered the "reliable older sister" of the group, she appreciates this greatly.
Tsuyu's siblings LOVE katsuki. They used to be pretty scared of him, they have seen him on TV during the sports fest after all, but after she brings him home for family dinner, they start to love him dearly. He becomes part of rhe family right away, even if Tsuyu's father doesn't like him immediately.
Tsuyu loves that Katsuki is so gentle with her siblings and even her mom, helping with dishes and homework, and even letting Satsuki climb up his back and piggy ride him.
Samidare is also a brooding edgy boy so he was skeptical at first, but then he grew to greatly admire Katsuki, even if he doesn't want to admit it.

It's wiped clean and everything.
He thought about laminating it, but that would've changed its structural integrity. Instead, the bag has been put in a document sleeve and stuff, for safe keeping.
Deku's a collector.
He's also a damn nerd, who has received his first gift from his cru dear friend.
Uraraka finds out about this, someday.
1-Aās most popular girl
Horikoshi may have put an underaged girl into the most inappropriate āhero costumeā in BNHA and gotten her tons of... admirers in real-life. Uwabamiās commercial may have gotten Yaoyorozu legions of fans in-universe. But the most popular girl within class 1-A?
This one.
Jirouās the female classmate who has been seen interacting with the most of 1-A guys: Ā According to the BNHA wiki, if you pay attention to the background events, Jirou is seen talking and chilling with each, Sero, Ojiro, Satou and Kouda, quite often.
Admittedly, all these guys easy to get along with in general. All of them are also who Bakugou would refer to as extras... but they still count!
I still stand by my previous post about how - except for MomoJirou and KaminarixEveryone - the band members aren't really friends with each other. However, to Bakugou and Tokoyami, two of 1-Aās moodiest kids, Jirou is probably still the female classmate each of them is closest to (well, Ashido might have the same degree of closeness to Bakugou that Jirou has).
Tokoyami's surprised and Bakugou has one of his many grumpy gremlin expressions on. However, both boys don't seem to be in a hurry to escape from her hold.
At the very least, Jirou is comfortable with manhandling these two.
And we all know, how Kaminari feels towards Jirou.
Or at least Tokoyami does.
And now I headcanon Tokoyami as being that person, who's usually the first one to be aware of who's crushing on who.
Kyouka: Friendzoned and friendzoning
So. Jirou seems to be the female classmate who the majority of 1-A's guys are most comfortable with.
However, contrary to my headcanon about the most popular 1-A guys, I feel like most of them aren't romantically interested in her.
It might sound a bit sad, but I headcanon that her miffedness about Mineta not naming her among those female classmateds that he wanted to perv on, is not entirely unwarranted... although, having Mineta salivating over you, is probably not something that anyone with self-respect should desire.
I can see her having gained some male admirers outside of the hero students, after the cultural festival.
At first sight, it might seem that Hagakure and Ashido are the most romance-focused girls in 1-A. However, supplemental and canon materials have depicted the tomboyish Jirou as being conscious about the male gender, the most:
During 1-A's practice match against Togata, she was the only girl who completely freaked out over his nudity.
In one of the drama CD stories, she made a big deal inside her head about holding onto the hem of Tokoyami's uniform, when they visited a haunted house together.
In one of the gag comics, she thought that Bakugou was self-conscious about holding her a girl's hands, when he wasn't actually. She basically just self-projected onto him.
In several of the gag comics, Jirou has been depicted as being self-conscious around Kirishima: One example has her perving on him in his costume. Another one, that retold 1-A's trip to the mall before Deku got accosted by Shigaraki, has Jirou imagining being on a date with Kirishima, when the kids paired up to look for Deku... and be pissed, when Kirishima dropped her at the first sight of Bakugou.
Ironically enough, she displays none of that awareness around guys who were hinted as having some interest in her: Kaminari (and I think, I've read something somewhere about Kouda liking her since their practical exams?)
Oh Jirou. You're definitely among those 1-A kids, who have the most growing up to do in the romantic department.

I just noticed that, except for Togata, all of the examples above include guys with whom Kaminari is explicitly friends with.
And now I headcanon poor Kaminari getting friendzoned by Jirou until at least until graduation.
The irony of 1-Aās resident flirt being canonically the first one out of all of 1-Aās boys who recognizes that he had fallen for someone: The girl, who just goes through successively crushing on all of his close friends... Now who's the flighty one, huh?
Yes, I imagine the unrequited love switcheroo trope, where Jirou wonāt be able to recognize and acknowledge her own feelings for Kaminari for a while. She starts to consciously takes notice of him as a romantic prospect - juuust right when he's about to move on from his own feelings for her.
Drama ensues.
Katsukiās precocious crush
If I were to ship Bakugou with anyone, it would probably be Fuyumi.
To be more precisely, if Bakugou were to develop a crush on anyone, Iād like to headcanon it to be Fuyumi.
Simply because the comedic potential is too great to be ignored:
1. In Fuyumiās eyes, Bakugou is her baby brotherās friend. A boy, who seems to know and appreciate the labour behind a good meal more than most. A kid, who (kinda) complimented her cooking skills - and then insulted her family's hosting skills within the same breath. A child, whose self-awareness about his own lack of manners, seems to be virtually non-existent.
It is almost comically endearing, because that feature reminds Fuyumi a lot of "her own" kids.
But it's also slightly worrying. Afterall, Shouto insisted that Bakugou Katsuki is his friend. But a refined palate aside: This kid clearly has the rabies.
= Fuyumi wouldnāt notice Bakugou's big fat crush on her for years.
I can see Bakugou (the guy who probably decided that he would surpass All Might when he was still a toddler, and then actually stuck to it) as someone who can harbor an unrequited crush for years. Which is fine, because Bakugou would probably need a good while to come to terms with something as mundane as a crush.
2. Fuyumi is Icy-hotās sister. Whoās even more clueless. Until Deku accidently points it out to him, that their mutual friend like-likes his sister. Afterwards Icy-hot tries himself at the āprotective-brotherā-thing. But instead of confronting Bakugou, he does petty stuff to test the latterās temper endurance, e.g., intentionally repeating sentences over and over again, when Fuyumiās with them. This theatre lasts for half a day, until Icy-hot decides that heās ok with Bakugou crushing on his sister. Because deep, deep, deepĀ² down inside, "Baku-bro" ("Stop copying shitty hair!!") is a kind-hearted person.

3. Sheās Endeavorās daughter. Who is Bakugou's mentor-boss. Whom Bakugou finds to be kind of a dick. Which he has told Endeavor to his face. On his very first day of work-study. At what has been their very first face to face meeting. The comedy basically writes itself.
Look at this gremlin, grinning like a little dipshit smiling at a lady for the first time.
Generally, I can see Bakugou developing attraction to either: Someone nurturing and sweet like Fuyumi, or someone who doesnāt take his crap and sasses him for it, e.g. Burnin, Mirko.
Personally, Iām more inclined towards nurturing-sweet. At the very least, Bakugou seems to hold some respect for Fuyumi: Bakugou's indignancy regarding Todoroki's knife skills (Sub, AND dub: "You shamed your sister!"), are among the funniest - and strangely sweetest? - things he's said over the entire series.
Wdym, yellingly demanding your crush to teach you their recipe isn't romantic? That's just Bakugou asking for a date.
Anyway, apparently my brain pictures him going for someone slightly older? He wouldnāt even be on their radar for years. Like, until heās been well out of school for a while.
... I just like to imagine him suffering like that for some time.
Or idk, if I would want him to suffer a bit lessā¦ maybe Utsushimi might work with Bakugou too?
Tenya and the madwoman (or: The madwoman and her literal boy toy)
I ship Class Rep with Mei Hatsume. It's "uptight loves wild"-galore.
I donāt know how well such an extreme dynamic would work out in real-life.
But in fiction? The way to get there would be hella hilarious.
Guy meets girl. Guy is scared shitless of girl... don't all great romances start like this?
I know many anime fans like to shit on dub for sport. Honestly, I'm also not very fond of the majority of dubbed animes - simply because the Japanese do it so well. But in my opinion, MHA is one of those rare ones that has really good English dub.
I just love everything about how J. Michael Tatum had Iida saying: āMy quirk is in my legs, you madwoman!ā
The palpable indignation in his voice made me choke on my tea in the best way, and convinced me of Iidamei-dynamic immediately.
They have so many comedic possibilities.
And played out in a dramatic fashion? Bunch of misunderstandings, bunch of necessary adjustments to overcome their differences.
Even if they couldn't make it work: He could use some out-of-the-box-thinking himself and she would benefit so much from a bit more structure = so many opportunities for personal growth.
But if they made it work? The world wouldn't be ready for the indomitable Iida-Hatsume union.

Okay, so I was thinking about the ending of my hero academia recently, mostly how the ships could be handled, and like... what if we just never get any confirmation about any of them at all?
There's way too many ships and way too many ways to get people mad, so what if it was left open for the readers/viewer to make their own ending?
Like let's say, people think Izuku x Ochaco are going to be end canon bc "Deku is straight" (which btw, why is it such a thing? would it be bad if Deku was bisexual or gay?) but so many people in the fandom believe Kacchan x Deku are going to be end canon (or at least hope so)... then there's Bakugou x Kirishima but it's counter part being Kirishima x Mina-- I'm about to say all the ships at this point.
No matter how I see it, it would create chaos if any of them got confirmed. Sure, it would help knowing with canon material which are the canonical ships but like, if none of them get confirmed I wouldn't be surprised.

I had a single thought today about how Ectoplasm and Snipe both hide in their coat and went "Haha if they were pushed theyd have to kiss bc no arms" but then I took it too seriously and looked it up and found out it is an existing ship. Soooooo-
Every ship I ever liked comes to my mind when I hear this song (but my gf even more) and omg sonce currently obsessed with mha its Erasermic and Edgejeanists turn with the song.
Especially erasermic though because they have such an opposing personality and so Aizawa saying he'd listen to records he doesn't or watch cheesy romance movies for Hizashi? Sharing a jacket?
