------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You were at the tribune of the football game, sitting with your bestfriend Emma. Actually you were sitting and almost falling asleep while she was screaming her lungs out for a person named...Lee Know? You heard of him ofcourse...who doesn't know him?
Girls screamed, held posters in the air and their phone number. You rolled your eyes, you really did not understand what was so cool about him.
'Oh my gosh...LOOK!' Emma screamed in your ear
'Gosh, my poor ears' you said 'what is it?'
she grabbed your arm and pulled you up, she pointed at the boy, Lee Know.
'He is all sweatty!'
you saw him going through his hair with his hand. Sweat dripping of his forehead, his forehead covered with wet hair strands. You must admit that his football uniform showed all his muscels and abs....i mean it was a very good sight....
'Isn't he hot?!' she screamed
'I guess so...?'
She gave you a judging face
'You 'guess' so? What is wrong with you?'
'He is just not my type....i mean he is attractive but...no'
Lee Know ran and bumped into everyone to get his winning point. Everyone was screaming and giving him more 'power'. He scored the winning point. His teammembers running towards him. The public went wild...not only the girls...but also boys... You did not like the yells and the loud noises. You could not believe Emma could convince you to come here, while you also could be covered in a warm blanket with hot chocolate milk!
The cheerleaders cheered too. Lee Know ran through the field, people reached out to touch him. He ran his tongue over his full lips. You leaned against your seat and closed your eyes, trying to get away from the noise, as if that helped. Lee Know saw you sitting there from a distance. Everyone around you was wild, shouting, ranting, but you…there was a calm atmosphere around you. He observed you for a brief moment. He saw you here before with your best friend Emma.
'He's looking this way! Minho!' Emma yelled
you gave an encouraging gesture to Emma. 'Go for it.'
Lee Know looked down and smiled, he looked back at you. There was something about you that always fascinated him. He and his team went to the locker room. He passed the bleachers where you were leaning. He looked at you with the corner of his eye before walking in and washing himself.
'We go?' you asked
"You go…I want to stay a little longer…"
"For him, surely?"
"Stop it…" she blushed
“Be safe okay? It's already dark. You know…I'll wait for you at the school gate.'
'Okay thanks.' she hugged me.
'Bye-bye!'
'Bye.' you smiled.
Many girls are waiting for Lee Know to come out again as usual. You went to the school gate and leaned against it. You observed the darkness around you. You hated the dark, you never know what lurks in the dark. You heard girls giggling from a distance, so loud. You waited for a long time for Emma to come back.
'There you are! Gosh.”
'Yes, sorry…but I'm here now.'
'Okay let's go shall we?'
'Yep!'
You guided Emma to her bus stop. You waited for her bus to come. She got into her bus and waved at you before the door closed. You watched as the bus drove on. You turned around and saw Lee Know leaning against the fence.
"Gosh, you scared me." you clutched your heart.
"Sorry princess."
'Apology accepted.' you turned around and slowly walked away.
“A young lady like you shouldn't step out into the dark alone. It's dangerous.'
you stopped and turned your head.
'What did you say?'
He came closer.
"I said a young lady like you could be in danger in the dark."
'Well, if someone attacks you in the dark with a knife, it doesn't really matter whether you're a girl or boy.'
he laughed
'Good insight, but…' his expression became serious 'don't talk about that.'
'Okay?' you turned around. Walking slowly through the dark. Only the street lights illuminated your way.
He stepped next to you
'Do you also live on campus?'
'Why do you want to know that.' you said with a cold tone.
"To guide you, of course."
'I'm flattered that you want to accompany me to my dorm. Oh…wow'
he laughed
"I like your sarcasm."
'Thanks.'
'So?'
'So what?'
"Do you have a room on campus?"
you sighed
'Yes.'
He walked through the streets with you. He looked at you discreetly. The street lights illuminated your beautiful face so brightly. You went inside the campus. There wasn't a single student in sight. You stepped up the stairs in complete silence, until you broke the silence.
'Do you also live on campus?'
"Yes, number 25. And you?"
"number 30."
"Ah…so you're passing my dorm?"
'Well noticed.'
You stopped in front of his room.
"We're at your room."
"Princess, I have to guide you."
'No thanks. Go into your dorm, it's already late, way too dangerous.'
'Oh the protective type…I see it…I like that…'
'What did you say? The last sentence.'
'Nothing.'
You looked at him strangely 'Okay…. Well open the door and go inside. Lock your doors and windows, you never know.'
'You're the boss.'
he opened his door and went in. He closed the door slowly.
"Are you really going to stand there until the door is completely closed?"
'Yes.'
He played with his door, opening and closing, opening and closing…open…and closed again…and then open again…
You grabbed his door and slammed it. He laughed.
'Good night.'
'Goodnight princess.'
you rolled your eyes and went to your dorm. You opened the door. You were greeted by the cozy atmosphere. You dragged yourself to your room and jumped onto the bed before falling into it.

You went to school. Your school bag over one shoulder. You stepped inside the gate. You observed the grounds…you saw the cheerleaders practicing…some popular boys on the left side…weird alcoholics…some rich kids…the football team…they were having a talk. leaning against the wall. You entered the school slowly, passing the team. Lee Know looked at you…his eyes were only on you…he handed his football to one of his friends and ran to you. He stopped right in front of you.
'Hi there.'
You looked up and saw him. He was quite tall.
'What do you want.'
"Escort you to our classroom."
'Okay…'
"Since when are you like this…no wait…since when do you talk to me?"
"Since I saw you."
'Yesterday?'
he laughed "four months ago."
'When?'
"I still remember…" his face came closer to your ear, you felt his warm breath on your ear….
"You sat in the same place where you always sit… you leaned your arm on the armrest as you looked at the stars…" he paused
'…you were so calm…so calm in all that screaming. You're always…so…so calm…” he paused and looked at you
'I like that…'
You looked at him strangely… you felt something strange in your stomach… and no, it wasn't because you hadn't eaten anything….
'Cool.'
His face came closer to yours this time.
'Always so nonchalant…'
He put his hands in his pockets. He breathed deeply and straightened his back again.
"Okay, are we going to class or are you just going to stand here the whole time?" you asked
'Let's go.' he with a smile on his face.
-ׂ-----------╰┈➤✧.ˏˋ°•⁀➷★✺✳ ┅ ⑅ ┅ ✳✺★⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ׂ╰┈➤------------
The two of you entered the classroom together. You sat in the front and he sat in the back, because that was the seat planning. He really wanted to sit next to you… fate did him good today… The class quickly filled up….chatter resurfaced. You leaned your elbow against your desk. The teacher walked in at a slow pace. Your teacher, Mr. Kim, always has such a sarcastic expression on his face.
"Today…we're going to change the seats…yay…" he said under his breath.
"Pfff…well you're going there…and I'm just going to put you there…and you can come from here…and…" he stopped at you.
"You're going to sit back there, next to that one…" you looked over and saw Lee Know smiling. You sighed and sat next to him.
'Hello Neighbor.' he said
"Well hello…you."
He laughed
"What a coincidence…right?"
'Yep.'
"Or… was it our fate to sit next to each other…?"
'Coincidence…'
'Hmm…I guess it was our fate…'
you rolled your eyes.
'No.'
He moved his desk closer to yours.
'What are you doing?'
'What do you think?'
'Preparing me for death?'
"No princess, I want to be closer to you…" he leaned his elbow on your desk
"Uhmmm…sir what do you think you are doing."
'Sitting?'
"Your elbow is on my desk."
'And?'
'This is my desk, see? This is the FRONTIER.' he smirked and laid his head on your couch
'And what now?'
'Oh you must be happy that the teacher is present…'
He looked at you
"Oh what else would you have done?"
"I would have dragged you away."
'Oh….dragging me away? You would like that don't you….' he said in a low voice.
'What do you mean.'
he moved his face closer to yours
'You would like…to drag me away…by my collar…' he caressed your hand towards his collar
"…you would intervene…." he placed his hand on yours and pressed so that you grabbed onto his collar
"….my face would be near your neck…." he came closer to your neck, you felt his warm breath. You straightened your back.
'…and I would kiss it…'
you pushed him away
"Better focus on the lesson."
"You're the boss, princess."
'Indeed.'

The weeks passed like this. He turned you around… he irritated you… even though he saw it as teasing. You eventually started to ignore him…you pushed your desk away from him every time…you didn't look at him…you felt something in your stomach…a kind of electricity going through your body every time you saw him…you were scared…you were afraid of what this feeling did to you…you saw him in your dreams…you thought about some strange things…sexual things…it made you go crazy…today was the football game again…
“Y/N! It's the game today!' Emma shouted
'No.'
'What no?'
'I'm not going.'
'Why not? It's going to be fun.'
"I really can't today Emma."
'Why not.'
'Private information.'
"That's fine, why don't you want to go?"
"My head really hurts today…and my stomach too…I don't know what's wrong but I'll find out."
Emma's voice softened
'Real? Okay…should I come with you to your dorm?'
"No no, it's okay…just enjoy the match okay?"
'Are you sure.'
'Yep'
she hugged you
'Okay…. but call me immediately if something is wrong….'
"Okay thanks….I'll do that."
You saw her go to the stands, she looked back at you, but you left slowly. You went through the hallways of the school and outside. The football team just came out of the locker room behind you. You slowly walked away. Lee Know saw you, he wondered where you went. The match was the other way. He wanted to go to you but his friends stopped him
'What are you doing? The match is about to start?' said one of his friends. He looked back at you.
You opened the door and went outside. He didn't want to see you out on the streets alone…in the dark…it was too dangerous. He wanted to run to you but again his friends stopped him.
'What's wrong with your dude. Come on, we've got a game to win.' they dragged him onto the football field, he looked behind him, but you were already gone….
╰┈➤✧.ˏˋ°•⁀➷★✺✳ HIS POV ✳✺★⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ׂ╰┈➤
We held them tightly and dragged me along…I still saw her…but when I turned around she was gone. Did I do something wrong? Why doesn't she come? I ran my hands through my hair in frustration as I put on my helmet. I looked around and saw girls shouting and cheering. When I looked at them they almost fainted…but the only girl I wanted to see wasn't there…
I swallowed and started to stand in my position. I couldn't lose this match. I put my frustrations into the game. I knocked the rest out of my path as I got my hands on the ball. I ran as if she were at the finish line. I don't know what's happening in my head…this feeling…is so strange…of course I already have experience with certain things…but with her it's different…me. …I'm…in love…
I ran to the end goal. The timer only had 10 seconds left. I pretended like she was standing there…like I had to save her…I ran as fast as I could…I made it before the timer stopped…but she wasn't there… Even though we won, I didn't win.
My friends surrounded me and lifted me up. I heard the rest cheering. Girls trying to grab me. I didn't want to join the party, I wanted to get out of here. I jumped from their grasp and fell to the ground and rolled. I stood up and threw my helmet at one of my friends like it was the ball.
I ran to the school gate, I ran out. I ignored the dark…I ignored the fact that I was sweaty…I ignored the looks other students gave me when they saw me running away. I could still hear my friends calling behind me. I ran to campus, her dorm number was 30…a number I will never forget because of her. I quickly walked up the stairs. I ran to her dorm. My hair was wet, I was panting. I knocked hard on the door….I stomped on the door.
'Open up!' I shouted
╰┈➤✧.ˏˋ°•⁀➷★ 'YOU' POV AGAIN ★⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ׂ╰┈➤
The sound startled you and you fell off the bed.
'Open up!' you heard Lee Know shout.
You yawned and slowly made your way to the door. You opened the door and saw him leaning with one hand against the wall. He still had his football suit on. He gasped and looked at you. His look was different this time.
“Lee Know?”
he looked at the ground
'Lee Know…?'
he looked at you and pushed you inside your own dorm. He grabbed your face and stroked your cheeks with his thumb. He looked at you…
'What are you doing?' you asked
'Something I should have done a long time ago…'
you felt his lips on yours. His movement was urgent. It was passionate at the same time. His tongue explored your mouth. He opened his mouth wider so he could taste more of you. He wouldn't stop kissing you. One of his hands slid to your hair. He moaned into your mouth. That feeling came up in your chest again…a kind of electric sparkle. You gasped.
He grabbed you tightly, wrapping his arms around you. He gently lifted you up as he continued to kiss you. Your arms fell on his shoulders. Your eyes closed automatically to better feel the moment. He kicked in your door, he entered your room with you in his arms.
His focus was on the bed, you were gently laid down, still he didn't break the kiss. You both gasped as the kiss broke. You lay on your back and looked at him. He was on his knees. He looked down and panted. His hands went to his belt. With a quick movement he removed his belt. You didn't break eye contact. He kissed you again as he exposed his upper body.
His muscles were clearly visible when the moonlight shone on them. His hands went to your blouse, he quickly unbuttoned it, he wanted you now and here. He threw your blouse on the floor. Now his focus was on your bra. He moved his hand behind your back and unclipped your bra. He moved from your mouth to your neck, leaving hickeys. You hadn't even realized that he had thrown your bra on the floor. He started kneading your breasts, gently of course, as it is a sensitive part of your body. It felt so good, you moaned softly… it scared you a bit… you didn't even know you could make sounds like that…
“You taste so good baby..”
he said in a low voice as he pulled your pants down, leaving you with just your panties.
He looked at your body with hungry eyes.
You looked him straight in the eyes as he grinned at you. He carefully took off your panties and also threw them onto the floor where the rest of your clothes were. He slowly took off his pants. Your eyes focused only on his upper body. He threw all his clothes on the floor so that he remained naked in front of your eyes. You gulped.
'You like what you see?'
You weren't sure how to answer.
'Mhm…'
You felt so exposed and vulnerable under his gaze, but it also gave you a certain feeling that couldn't be described. He came on top of you. One of his hands rested on the bed, the other hand went down, down to your clit. You looked with eyes widened at him.
'I'm going to make you feel good… so good…'
one of his fingers pressed on your clit, another moan leaving your lips.
'You like that?'
he pressed it again, your back arched. Your legs spread automatically. He stroked your clit.
'I'm going to take care of you…you are so precious…'
you felt one of his fingers pumping inside you.
he looked into your eyes as your mouth opened slightly.
“Ah…” you moaned
His pace was slow but erotic.
'Hmmm…you like that don't you…baby…'
He inserted another finger into you. He stretched you well. He caressed your cheeks and whispered
'You love taking my fingers….don't you?'
you moaned in response.
His lips found their way back to yours. His lips moved quickly, his tongue swirling with yours. Your heart was beating fast. His fingers sped up. The room was filled with moans and pumping sounds.
"You're so beautiful…" he looked at you intensely. He kissed your lips softly.
'My little angel….'
'My little good girl....'
You came, your legs trembling.
"Oh…Lee…"
he caressed your slit gently, his fingers catching your arousel. His fingers twisted before he pulled them out again.
Your cheeks were red, your beautiful eyes looking up at him. His heart swelled at the sight of you, he came closer and kissed your forehead softly.
His length was already pumped full with blood. Your legs were sweaty as the tip of his length gently grazed your clit. He slid in with an ease. You gasped as you felt him entering you. He came closer again and kissed your upper body. He started grinding softly and slowly. His large and veiny hands slowly moved to your small ones. He interwined them and pinned them on the bed. He loved seeing the difference in size, you were so small compared to him. He felt protective over you. He moved in a romantic rhythm. He looked at you.
'You're so beautiful…so small…'
you looked into his eyes, your beautiful eyes that he can't look away from.
'Keep looking at me like that…'
He grabbed one of your legs and gently lifted it over his shoulder. He looked at the view and groaned. He kissed your leg and went down to your thigh.
'Lee Know…'
He looked at you while kissing you. His hand caressing your leg as he moved again. He smirked as he heard his name.
'Oh baby....i am going to give you so much pleasure tonight....'
He moved from your leg to your neck.
"….you're going to scream my name…."
one of his hands went to your breast and caressed it
'…all night long…'
He grabbed your small hands again. His grip tight but soft. He leaned on them as he pushed himself back into you. He looked at your face. Your head thrown back….your eyes shuttered close….your heavy breathing….the sight was too much for him….he looked at the place where you connected. He watched as he pumped into you.
'You are doing so good baby….'
his head rested in the crook of your neck, his lips sucking on the sensitive skin there.
His movement became faster.
“Ah…daddy..” it just fell from your lips
he looked up to you, his ears fluttering at your moans
'Call me that again baby….' he moved again slowly but hard.
your back arched
“…daddy..” you never knew you could say something like that. You used to read those fanfics, but when they said 'daddy' you cringed….but now….now you don't care…
He groaned and gripped on your hands tighter as his pace went faster but still hard. Your legs trembled, your breath became heavier. He suddenly hit a very sensitive spot of yours. You gasped to catch your breath.
'….right there…' you moaned to him…. the endless words just falling from your lips automatically.
'Right there baby?' he hit it again, this time deeper..faster….and harder.
'…mhm…' He stroked a hair lock of yours behind your ear. He started to hit the spot over over over and over again. Your body trembling beneath his touch.
You looked at him, his black beautiful hair stuck to his sweaty forehead. Your hand wanted to run through his hair, but they were pinned down. You spread your legs more. His eyes gleamed downward. The sight he saw made his heart skip a beat. His lips came close again and devoured your mouth. It was all too much…you felt something in your body…something you had never felt before…. He kept pumping into you, his hands touching you everywhere.
“i-i..” you stuttered
He could feel your body tense up, he knew you were close.
'You're doing so well…I love you baby…'
those words sent something through your body, he pumped faster and faster…until…you came. You cried out his name….your legs trembling with pleasure….he gently grabbed your chin and brought it closer. His kiss very gently with love. He started his movement again, he rested his head on your shoulder while still holding your hands…you felt him coming. You felt his breath close to your ear. You both panted. He looked down at you and slipped out. His two fingers pushed the cum deep into you
'take it all baby….take all of it….'
your back tensed as you felt his fingers. He near your ear 'ready for another round…?'
you looked at him with sacred eyes '…yes…'
And you all knew what happend next...

-The Next Morning-
I awake to the sound of my alarm, frantically shutting it off as it's sound is seemingly piercing in the morning silence.
As I lay my head back down on my pillow, the ceiling looks unfamiliar to me and I quickly sit up, swinging my legs over the edge of the bed, and looking around the room.
As my eyes adjust and the morning brain fog clears, I remember where I am.
I take a deep breath, calming myself back down and stand up. I then head to the master bath to get dressed for my morning run.
As I run from the circle drive, past Yunhos house, and down the street, I take in the fresh air and light breeze. Enjoying the sunlight and beautiful neighborhood, I find myself somewhat lost in thought. That is until I almost run smack into someone, barely stopping in time.
"I'm so sorry! I was a bit lost in thought, that could've ended badly." I panicingly apologize to the girl standing in front of me with her hand over her chest and a shocked expression.
"Oh no! It's okay! I wasn't really paying much attention either!" She brushes off the apology with a frantic wave of her free hand. "I was coming to check the mail since I just woke up. I should have looked before just stepping onto the main walkway."
Her shy smile as she babbled matched her soft appearance. I couldn't help but think that she was absolutely adorable.
"Looks like it's both of our faults then." I laugh, trying to lure her mind away from blaming herself.
She giggled in return. "I don't think I've seen you around here before?" She stated very curiously, almost questioning as she tilted her head slightly.
"My family owns 113, I just moved back late yesterday afternoon." I explain, pointing in the direction of my home.
"Oh! Well, welcome back!" She smiles very sweetly, holding out her hand. "I'm Heeyoung!"
"My name's Jaemin, Nice to meet you." I return the smile shaking her hand gently.
"Okay, well I'll let you get back to your run. Don't be a stranger Jaemin." She says as she opens her mailbox, grabbing the mail, then starts back up her driveway, a slight skip in her step.
"Thanks." I reply, waving as she makes her way back to her porch, a man standing in the doorway with a confused look on his face. "Who is that?" I could hear him asking as I started back on my run, Heeyoung's soft voice fading as I gained distance.
I reach the end of the road and look both directions before crossing, walking up to the open blue coffee shop doors.
When I walk in, I immediately stop as I see 2 people bickering at eachother and chuckle under my breath, shaking my head.
"You two are at it already? You've only been back for a day and it's only 9am." I tease.
The brunette behind the counter looks over to me. "They have been at it since she walked in the door yesterday. Please help my poor ears." He half jokes with a very 'over it' expression.
"Look Sunoo, Yeri started it!" The blonde protests.
"I did not!" Yeri whines turning to me. "Jaeee, Key is being mean to me already.." she pouts, sticking out her bottom lip and attempting puppy eyes.
"Why, he wouldn't give you the babygirl treatment?" I tease at her.
Yeri and I have been friends since we were in diapers. When Mom and I moved away, she came with us. Leaving her shop in the care of our other friends we've known since our early school days…Key, Sunoo, and Minho. We have roomed together since, and when I moved back she followed.
Yeri stared at me with her jaw dropped, visibly appalled that I didn't automatically take her side.
"Have you even unpacked everything from your car yet?" I poked at her.
Just then Minho walks by the open entrance where I am standing. "This is the last box." He says, making his way to the open door leading to the upstairs apartment and I tisk at Yeri.
"Whatever. Minho is my favorite anyways!" Yeri huffs, plopping down into the closest chair to her.
Key and Sunoo both roll their eyes, as I just laugh and take the seat directly across from her, Key sitting to my right. Sunoo then walks out from behind the counter with a wooden tray holding 5 very different drinks, setting it down on the table and taking a seat in the open chair to my left.
He knew exactly what coffees to make for our group.
A chocolate chip mocha blended frappuccino with barley any espresso for Yeri.
A hot americano for Key.
An iced americano for Minho.
A mint chocolate blended frappuccino for himself.
And finally, an iced caramel white mocha with hazelnut syrup for me.
As he is passing the respective drinks to each person, Minho returns through the door, pulling up a chair from a separate table and placing himself between Yeri and Sunoo.
The group of us catch up, we make plans to host a welcome party at my place.
"Who would we invite? Most of the houses on the block have been bought out by the college and turned into dorm like estates, so we don't really know anyone here anymore." I point out, as Yeri and I haven't been home in a while.
"Well, everyone in the neighborhood are pretty friendly. And the estates don't belong to the college directly, the owner just prefers to rent out rooms in the houses to college students since it's close to the school." Minho informs.
"Exactly. So you could really invite whoever. You know we're all down and I'm sure Jackson and his group would be up for it too." Sunoo suggests.
"Yeah, we could just invite the neighborhood and whoever shows up, shows up." I state, open to meeting new people.
"You and being social." Yeri rolls her eyes.
"Well we can't all be hermits who stay inside and avoid people all day, like you." Key teases her.
"Ya know what?! Fine! Invite everyone! Let's have a party!" Yeri protests Key's accusations, standing up and making her way to the back counter.
The rest of us laugh at the way Key knows exactly how to get under Yeri's skin.
"Then it's decided. I'll work on the invitations tonight." I finish, standing up and helping the others carry empty glasses to the counter.
"Now, speaking of Jackson, I need to go talk to him anyways, so I'm gunna head out. I'll bring invitations by in the morning!" Waving goodbye to my close friends, I walk out the door and head towards Jackson's place.

Want so Bad
genre:; fluff and (..) word count: 3.9K
Minho x reader! Minho x fem. reader!!
wherein: Minho is everything you never wanted in life. But he wants you….so bad.
(an: this is my favorite and i had fun writing while listening to Minho and Jisung's "Want so Bad" again and again and again. so i hope you enjoy reading it!! a comment, like, and reblog is very much appreciated)
"Why are you here?"
You roll your eyes, barely glancing up at the person standing in front of you, your voice dripping with boredom.
"I'm here because I miss you," he replies, winking at you in that infuriating way that always makes you cringe.
You’re in your living room, buried in your textbooks, when this boy suddenly appears in front of you, as if someone summoned him from nowhere.
Minho.
He’s your brother Jisung’s best friend in the entire world—or so they claim. There’s a three-year gap between you and them. They’re in their final year of college, while you’re just a freshman.
You would give him a proper introduction, but the truth is, you can't stand him. You’ve hated him ever since you were 15. He and Jisung have always loved teasing you, making your life miserable whenever they could.
"Jisung! Your favorite family member is here!" you shout, unable to handle Minho’s relentless teasing any longer. Sure, you’re in college now and supposed to be more mature (or so you tell yourself), but after years of dealing with them, you’ve become accustomed to hating their antics.
"I wasn’t even part of the family… but I guess I will be after I marry one of the family members," Minho smirks, his voice dripping with mischief.
"Then go marry my brother," you retort, your expression as nonchalant as ever.
He laughs and casually snatches the book you were studying. You’re so used to his flirty teasing by now that it barely fazes you.
It all started back in high school when Jisung teased you relentlessly, convinced you had a crush on Minho. He found it on your pink diary and read it out loud, complete with the cheesy music that played whenever you opened it. (Well, you did have a crush on Minho back then, but it faded over time.)
Jisung teased you so much that you cried your eyes out, and then he told Minho all about it, sparking years of torment.
"Oh no, my sister might actually ace her exams now that she’s seen her only inspiration," Jisung chimes in as he walks down the stairs, pulling on a t-shirt. You roll your eyes at him too.
"I think I should come over more often. I might just make your sister the top student," Minho adds with a grin.
There goes your peaceful day.
But thankfully, they don’t bother you too much, as they soon move to the kitchen to eat. You try to refocus on your studies, but chemistry is giving you a hard time, so you pop in your earbuds and pull up a tutorial on YouTube. Just as you’re getting into it, a glass of orange juice and a muffin appear on your table (or rather, on top of your notebook).
"Eat, little devil. Food helps you focus more," Jisung says, placing the snacks down.
You mumble a quick thanks, thinking he’ll leave, but instead, he plops down on the couch behind you. You’re sitting on the floor, leaning against the couch, your books and notes spread out on the coffee table in front of you. Then, without a care in the world, Jisung props his legs up on the table, acting as if your things are invisible.
You were almost touched by your brother’s gesture… but never mind.
"Yah!" You glare at him, but he just shrugs and turns on the TV, putting on a movie. A minute later, Minho joins him.
"What are you studying, kid?" Minho asks, even though he’s already glanced at your book.
"None of your business."
"Oh, is that a new subject? I’ve never heard of it before."
Argh.
"You should help her, Minho. I heard from her professor that she scored low on a quiz," Jisung says, his tone annoyingly casual.
How does he know that?
"Really?" Minho leans forward, peering at what you’re writing. "Well, chemistry is indeed tough."
"Help her out. You always got high scores in that subject back in the day."
You’re listening to them while half-heartedly writing, your earbuds now turned down low. You’re trying to pretend they’re just ghosts, but hearing them talk about your struggles in chemistry makes you want to join the conversation.
"Sure, if you give me that game console," Minho quips.
"On second thought, I think my sister will manage just fine."
Arghhh.
You can’t take it anymore. You gather up your things, smack your brother’s leg, and stomp upstairs.
Later, you’re back in your study area, trying to focus again when there’s a knock on your door. It can only be one of them since the three of you are the only ones at home. Your parents are working, even on a Sunday.
"What?!" you yell, your irritation clear.
You’re about to open the door when it swings open on its own, revealing Minho.
"You shouldn’t talk like that to your tutor," he says, flicking your forehead.
"Ow!"
Tutor? Jisung must’ve given him the console.
You don’t bother complaining because, aside from being tired… well, yeah, you’re just too tired.
"You should listen well, okay? If you don’t, we won’t get married," Minho teases, treating you like a child as always. You hate it, but you’re too drained to argue.
"Okay." You roll your eyes for the ninth time and settle in to listen as he starts to explain.
The tutorial is full of bickering and Minho’s relentless teasing, but unexpectedly, you finally understand the material. Your questions are answered, and for the first time in a while, you feel a bit of relief.
"Thank you," you say as you bid him goodbye.
"Goodbye. Let me know when you get home. And say hi to your baby cats for me," your brother says, waving Minho off.
"How did your chemistry exam go?"
You’re happy with your results and you share them with Minho.
"I got an almost perfect score!"
"Really?" He messes up your hair. "Then you should thank me. You owe me."
"I’ll get Jisung’s console for you," you joke
Minho is at your house again. He says they have a group study session, but Jisung isn’t home yet. You both settled into the living room, the hum of the TV in the background as Minho lounged on the couch, his legs stretched out comfortably. You took a seat on the floor, leaning against the couch, your study materials spread out on the coffee table.
“So, what else do you need help with, little genius?” Minho teased, nudging your shoulder with his foot.
You rolled your eyes playfully. “I don’t need your help again, Mr. Top Student. I can manage just fine on my own.”
Minho chuckled, the sound light and teasing. “Sure, you can. But remember, you owe me for that almost perfect score. I think I might start charging for my tutoring services.”
“Don’t push your luck,” you shot back, a smile tugging at your lips.
Minho leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand as he looked at you, his expression softening slightly. “You know, you’re pretty impressive. Balancing all this studying and still managing to have a sense of humor.”
You felt a small flutter in your stomach at his words, a sensation that caught you off guard. You quickly masked it with a smirk. “Flattery will get you nowhere, Minho.”
He grinned, leaning back against the couch. “Who says I’m flattering you? I’m just stating facts.”
You opened your mouth to retort, but the words got caught in your throat when you met his gaze. There was something different in his eyes, something that made your heart skip a beat. The usual playful glint was still there, but beneath it was a warmth that made you feel… special.
You quickly looked away, focusing on the notes in front of you, trying to shake off the unexpected feeling. “Anyway, where’s this group of yours? I thought you were supposed to be studying.”
Minho shrugged, casually twirling a pen between his fingers. “They’re running late. I guess they’re not as eager to study as I am.”
“Right, because you’re so eager,” you muttered, the sarcasm clear in your voice.
He chuckled again, the sound warm and familiar. “Maybe I just wanted an excuse to hang out with you. You’re much more fun than Jisung.”
Your heart fluttered again, and you bit your lip, trying to keep your cool. “You’re just saying that because I actually study, unlike my brother.”
“True,” he agreed, his tone light. “But also because you’re interesting. I never know what you’re going to say next.”
You were about to respond when you heard the front door open and Jisung’s voice echo through the house. “I’m back! Did I miss anything?”
You quickly straightened up, feeling a strange mix of relief and disappointment that your brother had arrived. Minho, however, just smiled, a mischievous glint returning to his eyes as he leaned over and whispered in your ear, “We’ll continue this later.”
Your breath hitched at the closeness, and for a moment, you couldn’t think of a single thing to say. As Minho pulled back with a wink, you felt the butterflies in your stomach take flight.
Jisung entered the living room, oblivious to the tension that had suddenly filled the air. “Hey, what are you two up to?”
“Just studying,” Minho replied casually, as if nothing had happened, though the smirk on his face told a different story.
You nodded, trying to compose yourself. “Yeah, just studying.”
But as you glanced at Minho, who was now chatting with your brother like everything was normal, you couldn’t help but wonder if things between you had just shifted in a way you hadn’t expected. And as much as you tried to deny it, you couldn’t ignore the fact that, for the first time, Minho’s teasing had made your heart race in a way you couldn’t quite understand.
You were walking through the university courtyard, your thoughts scattered as you mentally planned your study schedule for the rest of the day. It had been a busy week, and you were looking forward to some peace and quiet when you suddenly spotted Minho across the way. He was chatting animatedly with a girl, her laughter ringing out as he carried a stack of books for her.
You instinctively slowed your pace, your eyes lingering on them for a moment longer than you intended. The girl was pretty, with a bright smile and an easygoing vibe that made her seem instantly likable. She playfully nudged Minho with her shoulder, and he grinned back at her, that familiar teasing spark in his eyes.
For a second, you considered changing your route, avoiding the interaction altogether. But then you stopped yourself. Why would you do that? It’s not like it mattered. It wasn’t like you cared who Minho was talking to, or how close they seemed. Right?
So you took a deep breath and kept walking, your expression carefully neutral as you approached them. As you got closer, Minho caught sight of you, and his grin widened.
“Well, well, well, look who it is,” he called out, his voice full of mock surprise. “You just couldn’t resist, could you? Saw my handsome face and had to come over.”
You rolled your eyes, a smile tugging at your lips despite yourself. “Oh please, I just happened to be walking by. Don’t flatter yourself.”
The girl next to him laughed at your banter, and you noticed the way she lightly slapped his arm, a gesture that spoke of familiarity. It was clear they were close. Your eyes flickered to her, and you couldn’t help but feel a tiny pang of something—what was it? Jealousy? Annoyance? Whatever it was, you quickly pushed it down.
Minho noticed your glance and, as if reading your mind, raised an eyebrow. “Ah, sorry. Where are my manners? This is Seoyun, a friend from my class. Seoyun, this is my little genius here,” he added with a teasing smirk.
You gave her a polite nod, trying to ignore the way your heart skipped at the word “friend.” “Nice to meet you, Seoyun.”
“Nice to meet you too!” she replied cheerfully. “Minho’s told me a lot about you. He says you’re quite the brainiac.”
You shot Minho a look, and he just grinned, clearly enjoying your reaction. “Yeah, well, someone’s got to keep him in line,” you said, your tone light but with a hint of sarcasm.
Seoyun laughed again, and you couldn’t help but notice how comfortable they seemed together. It was… unsettling in a way you couldn’t quite pinpoint. But you weren’t about to dwell on it.
“Well, I’ve got to get going,” you said, glancing at your watch. “Places to be, things to study.”
“Always so busy,” Minho said, shaking his head in mock disappointment. “But you know, all work and no play…”
“…keeps you out of trouble,” you finished for him with a smirk. “But don’t worry about me. I’ll manage.”
Seoyun smiled at you again, giving a little wave. “It was nice meeting you. Hopefully, we’ll see each other around.”
“Yeah, maybe,” you replied, waving back before turning to continue on your way.
As you walked away, you couldn’t help but glance over your shoulder, just once, to see Minho and Seoyun laughing together as they continued their conversation. You tried to ignore the uneasy feeling that settled in your chest, brushing it off as nothing.
‘She must be his girlfriend,’ you thought to yourself, trying to sound nonchalant even in your own mind. And then you shrugged, forcing yourself to focus on your day ahead. ‘Why would I care?’
But even as you walked away, you couldn’t quite shake the image of them together, the way they seemed to fit so naturally. And for the first time, Minho’s teasing didn’t just annoy you—it made you feel something deeper, something you weren’t ready to face just yet.
“Hey.”
You looked up at the voice calling your name. It was Jeongin, your classmate.
“We got paired for the presentation,” he reminded you. Oh! You remembered now, probably too occupied with other subjects to focus on this. “If you don’t mind, can we start after class? That way we’ll finish early and can focus on other things.”
“Sure,” you agreed, appreciating his practical suggestion.
“Great. We should head to a coffee shop after this.”
After class, you walked together, discussing the presentation details. Jeongin had some good ideas, and you found yourself easily slipping into a productive conversation. The atmosphere between you two was relaxed, and soon you arrived at the coffee shop.
“What do you want?” Jeongin asked as you both approached the counter.
“Latte, please,” you replied, smiling. “Thanks.”
As Jeongin went to order, you scanned the room, your eyes landing on a familiar figure. Minho. He was with a group of friends, casually chatting. When he looked up, his gaze met yours. He smirked at you, and you were about to wave, but then he broke the eye contact and turned his attention back to the person next to him. You scanned the group quickly, noticing your brother wasn’t there.
You tried to focus on your work, but you kept catching Minho glancing at you from the corner of your eye. For the first time, you wondered what he thought of seeing you with another guy. The idea made you smirk a little, enjoying the small twist of the situation. Minho, always so sure of himself, might just be a little thrown off by this.
Jeongin returned with your latte and his own drink, setting them down on the table.
“Ready to get started?” he asked, pulling out his notes.
“Yeah, let’s do this,” you replied, pushing the thoughts of Minho to the back of your mind—for now, at least.
You were studying in the living room, the soft murmur of a video tutorial explaining organic chemistry filling the space. You were too focused to notice Minho entering your house until his voice broke through your concentration.
“Hey, my favorite person,” he greeted with a playful smile.
You glanced around, looking behind you and to the sides. “My brother’s not here,” you stated, raising an eyebrow at him.
He laughed, shaking his head. “Of course you are the one I meant. My favorite person.”
You rolled your eyes, though a small smile tugged at your lips. “If Soonie, Doongie, and Dori were people, they’d be your favorites.”
“Of course,” he agreed, his tone light.
You returned to your studies, but Minho didn’t leave. Instead, he plopped down on the couch, stretching out as if he had all the time in the world. You tried to ignore him, but it wasn’t long before he broke the silence again.
“So, who was that guy you were with at the café earlier?” His tone was casual, but you could feel the underlying curiosity.
You hesitated, not sure how to respond. You didn’t have to be honest, but something made you want to see how he would react. “He’s a suitor,” you said nonchalantly, not looking up from your notebook.
Minho’s expression shifted slightly, but he quickly masked it, leaning back with a smirk. “A suitor, huh? I should tell your brother. Maybe he’ll confiscate your phone so you can focus on studying.”
You narrowed your eyes at him, feeling a spark of irritation. “I’m not a kid, Minho. I can decide who I want to spend time with.”
He chuckled, clearly enjoying your reaction. “Oh, really? You’re still just a freshman. You should focus on your studies instead of getting distracted by things like relationships.”
Your irritation grew. “What about you? You’re in a relationship with that girl you were walking with, but I can’t be in one?”
Minho’s eyes widened slightly in surprise before he quickly composed himself. He knew you were jealous, and he had to hide the smile threatening to break through. “So, you were jealous?” he teased, leaning forward.
You felt a flush of heat rise to your cheeks, and you stood up abruptly, gathering your things. “I’m not jealous,” you snapped, turning on your heel to head back to your room.
As you walked away, Minho couldn’t help but smile. He knew you were, even if you wouldn’t admit it, and that only made him like you more.
Life continues as usual, with your brother Jisung and Minho still finding every opportunity to tease you. Tomorrow is their graduation day, and as you walk into your brother's room to borrow a math book, you decide to ask him a question that's been on your mind.
"Jisung, what’s your plan after graduation?"
You’re genuinely curious, even if you’d never admit it to his face. Despite all the sibling rivalry, you’re proud of him for making it this far.
"Probably end up unemployed," he replies with a shrug.
You give him a deadpan look. What answer did you expect, anyway?
"Obviously, I’ll take the board exam first, then start job hunting," he says while folding his clothes. Then he glances at you, squinting. "You’re not asking because you’re curious about Minho, are you?"
Yeah…no!
You quickly throw a pillow at him, trying to hide your flustered expression. "Do you really think my world revolves around him?" Jisung catches the pillow and smirks, clearly not convinced.
"Even if you don't ask about Minho, I'll tell you anyway. Remember when I told you to spend more time with him? You should’ve listened, because after graduation, he’s going abroad. There’s a job offer waiting for him."
Oh…
You manage a nonchalant nod, but as you leave his room, the news weighs heavily on your mind.
That night, as you lie in bed, you can’t help but replay Jisung’s words over and over. Minho is leaving. The thought sends a strange ache through your chest. You try to tell yourself that it’s not a big deal, that his absence won’t matter—but deep down, you know it will.
Graduation day arrives in a whirlwind of excitement. Your parents are there, beaming with pride, and you stand among the crowd, clutching a bouquet of flowers. You watch as your brother and his friends, including Minho, happily pose for group pictures, congratulating each other and hugging in celebration of finally finishing their studies. The joy is infectious, but there's a tinge of sadness in your heart.
Minho is leaving.
The thought lingers, even as you force yourself to focus on the present moment.
"Hey, little devil, take a picture of us," your brother calls out to you. You roll your eyes at the nickname but comply, grabbing the Polaroid camera hanging around your neck. It is his day, after all.
You snap the picture, capturing their bright smiles and laughter. The moment is perfect, but it tugs at your heartstrings.
Minho is leaving.
No matter how much you’ve pretended to hate him, the truth is, you’re going to miss him more than you’d like to admit.
"Are these my flowers?" your brother asks, reaching for the bouquet in your hands. You quickly hide it behind your back.
"They’re not yours! Mom has your flowers," you retort, giving him a playful glare.
He chuckles, his eyes sparkling with mischief, probably know what you are planning. "Okay, okay, I get it."
Just then, Minho approaches you, his usual teasing grin in place. "Can you take a picture of me? So you’ll have a souvenir picture of me," he said with a wink.
Pushing aside the urge to roll your eyes. Today, you’re happy for him, even if it’s bittersweet.
"Ha ha ha, I’m honored," you reply with mock sarcasm, but you can’t help laughing with him. You snap the picture, trying to ignore the fluttering in your chest.
"We should take a picture together too," he says suddenly, taking the camera from your hands. He hands it to one of his classmates and stands beside you, draping an arm over your shoulder. You try to hide the blush creeping up your cheeks, secretly pleased to have a picture with him. You’re going to miss him.
After the picture is taken, you slowly extend the bouquet toward him. "These are for you. Congratulations."
Minho’s eyes light up with surprise and genuine happiness as he takes the flowers. "It’s my first time receiving flowers. I’m blushing," he says with a laugh. Then, with a mischievous grin, he adds, "Are you asking me to be your boyfriend? Wait, I need to think about it."
He presses a finger to his temple, pretending to be deep in thought.
You slap his arm lightly, laughing. "It’s a farewell gift, you idiot."
"Wait, you should give me more time to think," he says, closing his eyes dramatically. After a few seconds, he opens them with a playful glint. "Yes. I will be your boyfriend."
You freeze, caught off guard. What?
"So from now on, you’re my girlfriend," he declares, and before you can react, he leans in and plants a quick kiss on your lips.
Your mind spins as his words sink in. "I promised myself I’d wait until you graduate, but I can’t help it—especially since I’m going far away, someone might take you from me." he says softly and laughs, messing with your hair. "So wait for me, okay? I promise I’ll come back to you."
It takes a moment, but you finally manage a small nod, a smile tugging at your lips.
Minho smiles back, his eyes filled with warmth.
You realize then,
more than ever,
that you want him
just as much as he wants you.

As you walked out of that party, tears blurred your vision. The taxi ride home felt like an eternity, each second filled with the weight of the choice you knew you had to make. Choosing to follow your heart felt like a betrayal—either to yourself or to the friendships you held dear. The tears flowed freely, a silent acknowledgment of the impossible situation you found yourself in.
When the taxi finally pulled up to your apartment building, you stumbled out, barely holding yourself together. You made your way to the elevator, desperate to escape into the solitude of your room. But just as you were about to step inside, a voice called your name, stopping you in your tracks.
You turned around slowly, your heart pounding. There, standing a few feet away, was Minho, his motorcycle helmet in hand. His breaths were labored, as if he had sprinted to catch up to you. His eyes locked onto yours, filled with worry, regret, and something else—something deeper that made your heart ache even more.
Seeing him there, so close yet so far, brought a fresh wave of tears to your eyes. You couldn't hold them back as he took a hesitant step toward you. The concern etched on his face, the way he looked at you like he was seeing through all your pain, made you crumble.
Without another word, Minho closed the distance between you. He grabbed your wrist gently and pulled you into a tight embrace. His arms wrapped around you as if he could shield you from all the hurt in the world. "I'm sorry," he whispered into your hair, his voice thick with emotion.
You clung to him, your face buried in his shoulder, your tears soaking into his shirt. "I'm sorry too," you choked out, the words barely audible. "Sorry because I loved you." The confession hung in the air between you, raw and unfiltered.
Minho pulled back just enough to look at you, his eyes searching yours. "Why are you sorry for that?" he asked, his voice trembling.
"Because… because I'm afraid," you admitted, your voice breaking. The pain of those words was almost unbearable, and you could see it reflected in his eyes.
For a moment, Minho said nothing. He just stared at you, his expression a mix of sorrow and determination. Then, without warning, he took your hand in his, his grip firm but reassuring. "Then let's run away," he said, his voice steady now.
Before you could respond, he was already pulling you towards his motorcycle. He put a helmet to you, still reeling from everything that had happened. You didn't protest, didn't question where you were going or what you were doing. You just followed his lead, trusting him implicitly.
As you climbed onto the back of his bike and wrapped your arms around his waist, the world around you seemed to fade away. The roar of the engine filled the silence between you, and you pressed your face against his back, feeling the warmth of his body through the leather jacket. The wind whipped past you as Minho drove, and for the first time that night, you felt a sense of peace.
You didn't know where he was taking you, and it didn't matter. As long as you were with him, you felt safe. You let go of everything—the party, the confusion, the fear—and allowed yourself to simply be in the moment, with Minho.
You loved Minho. From the playful banter that always made you smile, to the way he showed his care in subtle, thoughtful ways. You appreciated everything about him, even the teasing that others might have mistaken for indifference. It was in those moments that you saw the depth of his feelings. The teasing was just his way of showing love, and you understood that. He loved you in his own way, just as you loved him. But the friendship you both valued so much had always held you back.
Tonight, though, all those barriers seemed to dissolve. It was just the two of you, riding through the night with the moonlight as your only witness. You held onto him tightly, savoring the feeling of his presence, knowing that this moment was yours and his alone. For once, you let yourself not care about anything else—just you and Minho, under the stars, running away from the world together.
Minho brings you somewhere—a place only the two of you know. It's a small, cozy house nestled right in front of the beach, a secret hideaway that has always been your sanctuary. The moment you step inside, you’re overwhelmed by the familiarity of it all. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the faint scent of the ocean air.
Without thinking, you throw your arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace. You hold him as if letting go would mean losing everything. He hugs you back just as fiercely, his hand gently caressing your hair. “I’m not going anywhere,” he whispers into your ear, his voice soft and reassuring.
He pulls back slightly, just enough to look into your eyes. “We’re here now,” he says, his thumb brushing away a stray tear from your cheek. “Together.” You nod, feeling a warmth spread through your chest, the fear and doubt momentarily forgotten.
Minho then leads you to the couch, where you both sink into its plush cushions. For a moment, the world outside disappears, and it’s just the two of you, wrapped up in each other. He leans in and presses a gentle kiss to your forehead, his lips lingering there as if to seal a promise. You close your eyes, savoring the feeling of his love, pure and unspoken, but deeply understood.
-
The next morning, you wake up to the soft light filtering through the curtains. You stretch lazily, realizing that you're wearing one of Minho’s oversized shirts, the fabric smelling faintly of him. It’s a comforting scent, one that makes you smile as you sit up and take in the surroundings.
The sound of clattering pots and pans draws your attention, and you find Minho in the kitchen, cooking something with his usual focused expression. The sight makes your heart swell with affection. Unable to resist, you quietly tiptoe over to him and wrap your arms around his waist from behind.
He glances back at you with a smile, his eyes warm and tender. “Good morning,” he murmurs, leaning down to press a kiss to your temple. “Sit down, I’m almost done.”
You do as he says, settling at the small table. Just as you’re about to get comfortable, a familiar white cat leaps onto your lap, purring contentedly. It’s the cat you both adopted from the animal shelter—a sweet, fluffy companion he named after yourself. You smile, petting the cat, feeling a sense of peace wash over you.
A moment later, Minho places a dish in front of you, and the aroma makes your mouth water. He’s always been an excellent cook, and today is no exception. He hands you a glass of milk, the small, thoughtful gesture making you grin.
You take a bite, the flavors rich and comforting, and you can’t help but smile up at him. He’s watching you intently, waiting for your reaction. “It’s delicious,” you say, your words filled with genuine appreciation.
Minho chuckles, clearly pleased. You scoop up another spoonful of food and, on a whim, offer it to him. He raises an eyebrow but leans in to take the bite, and you both end up laughing at the simple, playful gesture. The laughter fills the room, light and carefree, making the moment feel almost surreal. For the first time, you allow yourself to be completely true to your feelings, to enjoy this fleeting happiness without worrying about the future.
Later, you both find yourselves outside, lounging in a big hammock that sways gently in the breeze. The ocean stretches out before you, a vast expanse of blue that seems to go on forever. You’re sitting between Minho’s legs, his arms wrapped around you, holding you close. The warmth of his body against yours, the sound of the waves, the scent of the salty air—it all feels so right.
Minho tightens his hold on you, his chin resting on your shoulder and he whispered ,“I’m willing to risk everything for you,” he says quietly, the sincerity in his voice making your heart ache.
You shake your head, turning slightly to look at him. Eyes started to well up.
“Minho ---That’s not what I want,” you called him. "It’s okay if I’ll step away, as long as you stay the same. You’ve been with them for so long—you’re like family. I don’t want to be the reason to end it.”
Minho’s eyes darken with determination. “Whatever happens, I’ll choose you,” he says firmly.
His words are like a knife to your heart, and you can’t stop the tears from welling up. “But you’ve spent eight years with them,” you say, your voice cracking. “You have dreams together, and I’m just going to break it?”
You feel like you’ve fallen in love in the wrong way, at the wrong time. The guilt and fear threaten to overwhelm you, and the tears spill over, streaming down your cheeks. Minho gently wipes them away, his touch soothing.
“Everything will be okay,” he whispers, his voice full of conviction. “I’ll take care of it, I promise.”
You want to believe him, to trust in the strength of your love. So you close your eyes, leaning into him, and for now, you let yourself be comforted by his presence, holding onto the hope that somehow, everything will be okay.
-
The weekend with Minho flies by too quickly. You wish you could stop time, hold on to these moments a little longer, but you know that’s not possible.
With a heavy heart, you make your way to Chan’s studio. He’s always been the one you could talk to about anything, a steady presence who feels like a big brother because of how mature and understanding he is. As you approach the door, you manage a small smile and gently knock.
“Can I come in?” you ask, your voice soft.
Chan looks up from his work, a warm smile spreading across his face. “Of course,” he says, nodding towards the chair beside him. You hand him a cup of his favorite coffee as you sit down, and he takes it gratefully. “Thanks,” he murmurs, taking a sip.
He studies you for a moment, concern flickering in his eyes. “How are you?” he asks, his tone gentle.
You take a deep breath, forcing a smile that doesn’t quite reach your eyes. “I don’t know,” you admit, your voice barely above a whisper.
Chan’s expression softens even more. “It’s okay,” he says reassuringly. “Everything will fall back into place, eventually.”
His words are meant to comfort, but the uncertainty in your heart remains, and Chan knows it.
Chan always know you. He knows what words you need.
“As your friend, and as someone who cares about you a lot, seeing you happy, following your dreams and wants, that’s what would make me happiest too.” The sincerity in his voice catches you off guard. "So choose what's your heart saying." He’s always been honest with you, but this feels different—more personal.
He tries to lighten the mood with a joke, his smile returning. “Besides, feelings fade eventually. Who knows? Maybe feelings will just disappear in a day.”
You chuckle softly at his attempt to make you laugh, but deep down, you know it’s not that simple. You know it all too well. After the laughter fades, you look at him, your expression turning serious.
“I’m sorry,” you say quietly, the weight of your decision pressing down on you.
Chan’s smiles, understanding shining in his eyes. “You don't need to be sorry of the things that wasn't your fault,” he replies softly. “And no matter what happens just know that I’m here for you, no matter what.”
The room falls into a comfortable silence, the unspoken words hanging in the air. Chan’s presence, steady and reliable, gives you comfort. You smiled at him and he smiled then ruffled your hair.

You helped Felix move out of his old apartment, a task made necessary by the noisy neighbor who had been causing him endless frustration.
You were relieved that Felix never brought up the awkwardness between you two, which meant you could focus on the task at hand without dwelling on the unspoken tension.
As you both worked, Felix’s usual teasing and jokes brought some normalcy back into the day. You laughed at his comments, the sound of your laughter mingling with the clatter of packing boxes.
Suddenly, a knock at the door broke the rhythm of your work. You both paused, and Felix’s neighbor appeared, his face a mix of annoyance and frustration.
“Hey, can you keep it down?” the neighbor said sharply. “You’re disturbing other people.”
The words struck a nerve. You could feel your anger rising, and before you could think twice, you shot back, “Look at what you’ve done to my friend! He’s moving out because of you. Maybe you should be more considerate yourself!”
Felix’s hand landed gently on your shoulder, a subtle reminder to keep calm. He stepped in front of you, his tone even but firm. “It’s okay,” he said. “We’ll handle this. Thanks for letting us know.”
The neighbor’s expression shifted to one of guilt. He muttered a half-hearted apology and quickly retreated. As soon as he was out of sight, Felix couldn’t hold back his laughter. “Well, that was interesting,” he said, still chuckling. “I talked to him about this before, but I can’t believe he’d actually come here to complain.”
You joined in the laughter, the tension of the moment easing away. “I’m just glad he’s gone,” you said. “Moving day is stressful enough without dealing with that.”
You continue your work and when the packing was done, you were ready to bring it downstairs to the unit beside you. When he stopped you with his words,
“I’ll be moving a bit farther away." he flashed a soft sad smile, "Hyunjin’s roommate moved out, so I’m going to crash at his place.”
Your heart sank a little and got surprised at the news that was different from what you had expected. But before you could express your disappointment, Felix patted your head affectionately. “Don’t worry, it’s not because of you,” he said reassuringly. “It’s just a better fit for now. Everything’s going to be fine.”
You weren’t entirely convinced, but Felix’s warm smile and reassuring words helped to ease your worries.
Felix’s grin widened. “Everything’s fine,” he repeated, and you could see the sincerity in his eyes. “Thanks for helping me today. It means a lot.”
You smiled back, feeling a mix of relief and lingering sadness. As you watched him finish packing up the last of his things, you couldn’t help but feel a sense of finality, but also an appreciation for the way Felix had managed to make the best of a difficult situation.

The sun was setting, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink, casting a warm glow over everything. You were sitting alone, and the serene moment was interrupted by a familiar voice calling your name.
You turned to see Minho standing a few feet away, a playful glint in his eyes. He walked over and sat down beside you, his arm slipping around your shoulders, then patted the cat that was purring and resting comfortably in your lap.
Minho's eyes twinkled, and then he laughed, "I was actually calling our cat."
You rolled your eyes playfully, a smile tugging at your lips. "Why did you name it after me?" you asked, feigning exasperation.
Minho chuckled, his laughter warm and infectious. He pulled you closer, his touch reassuring and tender.
You leaned into him, enjoying the comfort of his presence. The cat, sensing the affection, rubbed against your legs, purring contentedly. You looked at Minho, seeing the joy in his eyes, and then shifted your gaze back to the horizon.
The sky was now a canvas of vibrant colors, the sun dipping lower and lower until it was just a sliver above the water. The scene was breathtakingly beautiful, and it felt like the perfect backdrop to your moment together. You both fell into a comfortable silence, simply savoring the tranquility of the evening.
Minho's fingers lightly traced patterns on your arm, and you felt a sense of calm wash over you. The earlier worries and complications seemed distant now, replaced by the simplicity of this shared moment.
You turned your head slightly to look up at Minho, who was gazing at the sunset with a soft smile. There was a sense of peace in his expression, and you felt a similar calm settle within you. The world seemed to slow down as you both took in the beauty around you.
The sun continued its descent, casting long shadows and bathing the beach in a golden glow. It was a perfect ending to a challenging day, a reminder that amidst the chaos and confusion, there were moments of pure, simple happiness to be cherished.
You took a deep breath, feeling grateful for this serene moment with Minho, and the two of you shared a contented smile, knowing that no matter what lay ahead, this was a moment you would always remember.
