Death Predictions for Avatar

🟢Definitely not dying🟢

Lo'ak: bro's being set up as the new mc, JamCam's definitely not gonna kill him off

Tsireya: as the new mc's love interest, she's safe, cause this is a traditional blockbuster and we can't have a happy ending without the mc starting a family of his own after all the fighting's done.

Tuk: the Sully family has suffered enough after Neteyam

Neytiri: JAMES FRANCIS CAMERON DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT

Jake: with Lo'ak being set up as the new mc, I could see Jake dying in the final conflict of movie 5, or passing away in a flashforward of old age

Kiri: they're clearly setting her up to be a messiah-like figure and messiah-like figures have a nasty habit of sacrificing themselves to save everyone else. I could see her death being similar to Princess Yue from the less-blue Avatar, like the humans somehow find a way to harm Eywa and Kiri sacrifices herself to bring Eywa back or something.

Spider: whether or not he dies is gonna hinge entirely on what Quaritch's character development demands, cause that seems to be the reason Spider's character exists. Just how Neteyam's death was used to motivate Jake, Neytiri, and Lo'ak's characters, if Spider dies, it will be used as motivation for Quaritch. It could be a positive "my son would've wanted this so I'm gonna be good now" thing or a "my son is dead and I got nothing to lose so i'm gonna kill everybody" thing.

Norm: Norm is important enough that the audience would feel sad if he died, but he's not important enough that the plot would suffer from his absence, so I can definitely see him on the chopping block.

Mo'at: she's a grandma. Grandmas die sometimes :(

Quaritch: I'm calling it right now. Quaritch is gonna be an asshole throughout the whole franchise, and then at the last second he's gonna have a change of heart, do one (1) good thing, and then die so he won't have to face the consequences of his actions. This has been cliche since Terminator 2, but then again JC wrote terminator 2 so can you really call it cliche if you made the cliche?

Aonung: Sylwanin, Tom Sully, Tsu'tey, Neteyam... I'm starting to think JC has something against older siblings. Sorry Aonung.

Wainfleet: the second Neytiri learns he's the guy who shot Neteyam it's over for his bald ass.

Scoresby: Payakan should've gone for the head and he's not gonna make the same mistake twice.

Ardmore: she's the head honcho now. Probably gonna get an arrow to the chest in A3.

Going back to the leaked script. Do you think Spider knows that Kiri saved him? Or does anyone know? Because it could be possible that he was unconscious when Kiri performed the miracle. And was anyone around? I only say that because Mo'at told Kiri not to tell anyone that she was the one who saved Spider that night. Which could be hinting that no one saw her do it.

Great questions, anon. Here's what I think:

Just going off of the leaked script, I think the only people who actually witnessed what happened are Kiri, Spider, Jake, and Quaritch. Kiri and Spider obviously because they were there, and Jake and Quaritch because in the script we see Jake reference a "miracle" that Quaritch witnessed tonight that should open his eyes to how special Pandora is. Even if Spider is unconscious during the actual event, I think everyone would explain what happened once he woke up since he would understandably be confused when he can breathe. It's also possible Lo'ak and even Tuk were there since in the scene right after Norm and Neytiri arrive and it says Neytiri embraces her "children" plural. They also probably tell Neytiri and Norm because naturally they're going to want answers when they see Spider breathing without his exopack. And I'm sure they also tell Mo'at about it when Kiri goes to speak with Eywa.

So the list of people who likely know what happened to Spider are: Kiri, Spider himself, Jake, Quaritch, Lo'ak, Tuk, Norm, Neytiri, and Mo'at.

As for who knows that it was KIRI who saved Spider rather than divine intervention by Eywa, that's a different story. From the way Jake and Quaritch and then later Mo'at talk about the event, it sounds like everyone believes Eywa did it. According to the leak, Mo'at says "I do not understand this, why the Great Mother would save the boy (presumably Spider) and deny you now" to Kiri. This is when Kiri seemingly confesses to Mo'at that she saved Spider herself and Mo'at urges her to keep it a secret.

Based off their conversation, I believe that all the important characters know WHAT happened to Spider, but only Kiri and Mo'at know WHY it happened. Everyone else assumes it was Eywa's intervention, but Kiri and Mo'at know the truth and keep it secret, likely to protect Kiri from judgement by other Na'vi and interest from the RDA. I don't think Spider himself even knows. We have no idea exactly how the miracle happens to him, but I imagine it will be somewhat traumatic and involve him suffocating a little bit before he gets saved.

As for HOW Spider gets saved, we still don't have any information on that, but I believe that however it happens, it's going to look something like the scene when the Na'vi tried to save Grace. Like, Kiri will connect her kuru to the ground and make the little roots connect with Spider's body and do... whatever the hell it is they do to him to make him breathe the air. So to the onlookers, like Jake and Quaritch, it will look like Kiri is asking Eywa to save Spider and Eywa obliges, but only Kiri herself will know that she did it all by herself. That's where the confusion comes from.

Summary: now that the RDA realized they can’t take over the pandora planet. Their plans had changed into using the species of it to make money.

“GO GO GO YOU GOT EVERYONE?!” Jake screamed herding the crowd of navi warriors invading the humans ship to save others.

After the war and all the damage the humans had caused, they realized how precious the skins and blood of some specific navis are. Taking over is hard but killing them is easy.

“NETEYAM GO CHECK THE CAGES!” Jake ordered as he looked through all of the cells to make sure no navi was left behind

Following his orders immediately, he runs through each cell, opening them and peeking in.

“Bro this one!” Lo’ak calls as he peeked through the cell’s bars

“Why is it locked when there’s nothing inside?” He asked facing his older brother. Neteyam simply shook his head before knocking at the cage

“Hellllloooo?” He knocked then waited,

Shaking his head as his brother while just as being confused

They both sensed something was in there, a being, a navi but there is none to be seen

Through all the knocking and shaking of the cell there was nothing to prove that there’s a navi

not realizing a demon’s robot is right behind ready to strike at them

“GET DOWN!” Jake screamed firing at the machine while neytiri fire an arrow through its main engine, blowing up the machine

Landing down, neytiri quickly grabs the boys checking each one.

“I pray to Eywa for the strength to not plug your eye balls out! Come!” She says quickly turning away calling for her ikran

Lo’ak followed fast then quickly jumps on and flew away

Neteyam took one last look at the odd cell before hoping on to his ikran

At the corner of his eyes, saw two glowing blue eyes staring straight back at him. It doesn’t feel navi at all, it feels so animalistic it’s hard to understand

Before he could do anything his ikran already flew up leaving the destroyed demon’s space ships

It has been 5 years since the last sky demon war. One that he almost died at.

Now they’ve come back again to actually kill or capture any Navi they come in sight of

“What’s on your mind Neteyam?” Kiri asked nudging her older brother who had been zoning out while she patches him up, a uncommon behavior.

“Hm? Oh nothing why just thinking about random stuffs” he answered bluntly taking a harsh breath in and exhaling sharply

“Oh you know you can’t hide anything, what did you see at the demon’s ships?” Kiri sighed, interrogating her brother

“No nothing really, it was probably my imagination actually” he said scratching his head

“Well then what did your -Imagination made you see?” She asked, tying up his bandages

“I don’t know how to describe it..- you know how uh the demons had been capturing any of us now yeah?” He said while she nodded humming to his question

“So me and Lo’ak had been searching the cells and freeing the people, then we came through a strange cell that doesn’t have anyone inside”

“Then why is it strange?”

“Cause it’s locked shut, multiple locks and stuff, even had a security code or something and yet nothing inside but there is a presence there- both me and Lo’ak feel it but there’s just nothing there!” He explained sounding more confused as he elaborates the situation

“Well then it was probably used for the previous navis..” she said, a clear disgust tinted in the line as she speaks.

“Probably.. but then when I was about to fly off, at the corner of my eye I saw just a pair of big blue eyes staring right back at me” he claimed trying to remember harder about that short moment

“It’s not navi like even- what just a pair of glowing eyes and nothing else?- I mean it’s kind of ridiculous-“

“These are probably hallucinations caused from the last war” Norm cuts in explaining

“You’re probably still healing from the trauma of the previous war, that can explain”

“Yeah.. that’s probably it” Neteyam says looking away at the distances from where the warriors comes back

“Any new news except the fact that we can’t keep 10 fucking navi?” The general says slamming her fist at the table

“No ma’am” a guard said, straightening his posture at her thick anger

“But they left this one from last night’s attack” Quaritch said knocking at the cell

The general slowly walk up towards the cell

“The only Navi they left us from last night raid”

“A female?”

“Yeah..”

“She’s a savage ain’t she” he said, voice laced with disgust to the general

“A damn savage can make millions, not to count a white one” Lyle butts in, peeking through the glass window

There you laid in a circular position

Your hands and thick tale covering your face while your legs hugs tight against your stomach, hair covering your back

Your face banded with leathers to keep from biting or making any unwanted groaning noises

This is humiliating

They stare down at you like some wild, mad animal that they had just caught

You covered your face. To be honest if you were as strong as your brother, you would’ve banged on the cells till the metal breaks then bang it harder for the glass to break. If you weren’t scared the night before when 2 strange looking navi armed with odd weapons banged on your cell speaking an weird language, you would’ve been out by now

But now you’re just stuck here, praying to Eywa for something, someone and anything to help you get out of this hell hole

Scared, petrified even

They caught you 2 weeks ago from your home.

Putting you forcefully into a white room with only a table in the middle to hide under everytime you feel insecure with the disgusting gazes the demons throw at you

They don’t even feed you that much. Once every 3 days, they throw in a bunch of mostly inedible fruits. It’s like they don’t do any research on why can be eaten and what is poisonous.

Scared everyday, you went to sleep scared, woke up scared and now lost in time track.

You have no idea when is day and when is night, falling asleep everytime you wake up with the scare of realizing hitting you that you’re not home to make you petrified till tired

If only you had not venture out into the forest near the sky demon’s quarter late at night then this would’ve never happened 

“This one?” The general tapped on the cell

“Yeah, they all left her here, not even a scratch on the lock” a soldier said clicking the lock

“Say didn’t the sully kid stopped here?” Lyle budged in, holding one of the bars of your cell

“The sullies?”

“Security footage” a guard said

“Yeah… which one?”

“Both of the boys I think” Lyle shrugged

“The oldest seemed to stay the longest” he chuckled

“Curious much?”

“Why go though when this one’s in there? I mean white is pretty pop out color in flames no?”’

“No idea”

“About that maybe, but young to be out in war ey?”

The conversation goes on. You don’t understand anything they’re saying. They’re laughing and joking, at least that’s what you think. You don’t understand what’s happening.

“Then we draw him out” the general quickly came up with a plan, snapping her fingers

“With what?”

“Are you stupid or do your have shit for brains, her of course!” She said

“Jake sully had been focusing on getting back the captured navis. With that said there is a chance he’ll come back because his son took interest in this cage”

“How did you know he took interest?”

“You think navis can’t sense each other? All we need is this little bait to listen and do to what we said”

“You hear that sweet heart?” Quaritch look over, nocking harshly at the cell making you flinch

“You are coming with us for a plan!” They all laughed

You can only let out an animalistic whimper. They’re gonna do something to you. Something horrible.

This isn’t gonna be good
