Lo'ak: bro's being set up as the new mc, JamCam's definitely not gonna kill him off

Tsireya: as the new mc's love interest, she's safe, cause this is a traditional blockbuster and we can't have a happy ending without the mc starting a family of his own after all the fighting's done.

Tuk: the Sully family has suffered enough after Neteyam

Jake: with Lo'ak being set up as the new mc, I could see Jake dying in the final conflict of movie 5, or passing away in a flashforward of old age

Kiri: they're clearly setting her up to be a messiah-like figure and messiah-like figures have a nasty habit of sacrificing themselves to save everyone else. I could see her death being similar to Princess Yue from the less-blue Avatar, like the humans somehow find a way to harm Eywa and Kiri sacrifices herself to bring Eywa back or something.

Spider: whether or not he dies is gonna hinge entirely on what Quaritch's character development demands, cause that seems to be the reason Spider's character exists. Just how Neteyam's death was used to motivate Jake, Neytiri, and Lo'ak's characters, if Spider dies, it will be used as motivation for Quaritch. It could be a positive "my son would've wanted this so I'm gonna be good now" thing or a "my son is dead and I got nothing to lose so i'm gonna kill everybody" thing.

Norm: Norm is important enough that the audience would feel sad if he died, but he's not important enough that the plot would suffer from his absence, so I can definitely see him on the chopping block.

Mo'at: she's a grandma. Grandmas die sometimes :(

Quaritch: I'm calling it right now. Quaritch is gonna be an asshole throughout the whole franchise, and then at the last second he's gonna have a change of heart, do one (1) good thing, and then die so he won't have to face the consequences of his actions. This has been cliche since Terminator 2, but then again JC wrote terminator 2 so can you really call it cliche if you made the cliche?

Aonung: Sylwanin, Tom Sully, Tsu'tey, Neteyam... I'm starting to think JC has something against older siblings. Sorry Aonung.

Wainfleet: the second Neytiri learns he's the guy who shot Neteyam it's over for his bald ass.

Scoresby: Payakan should've gone for the head and he's not gonna make the same mistake twice.

Ardmore: she's the head honcho now. Probably gonna get an arrow to the chest in A3.

girl you missed a lot of somethings! But it's cool, I'll catch you up to speed on all the leaks. It's a little late at this point, but 🚨SPOILER WARNING FOR AVATAR 3🚨

Varang using kuru mind-control: @spider-socorro-stan was able to make out some of the very blurry writing on this script page that was accidentally shown in BTS footage. As far as they could tell, the first line says "Varang wills Quaritch's arm to... bulging, as his hand opens and he..." which makes it sound like she's controlling him somehow. This led people to speculate that Varang might use tsaheylu to control others. Out of all the "spoilers," this one has the least amount of evidence supporting it so take it with a grain of salt.

2. Norm taken prisoner by the RDA: in this BTS image, two Na'vi in Ash attire stand with another Na'vi wearing an orange prison jumpsuit in the RDA control room. A lot of people believe that it's Quaritch and Wainfleet taking Norm prisoner.

3. Neytiri also in Ash People clothing: in this BTS image, Jake stands next to a Na'vi woman wearing Ash People attire, with Spider wearing... whatever the fuck that jumpsuit thing is in the background. It's hard to tell with her face hidden, but most people think the woman is Neytiri based off her height, build, and proximity to Jake.

4. The betabridge: this is the spoiler we have the least information about. According to the leaked script, right after Jake and Quaritch have their civil conversation while Spider is breathing the air, Quaritch leaves them (probably scared cause Neytiri showed up lmao) and flies back to Bridgehead with Wainfleet. There, they witness a massive machine that looks like "an oil rig crossed with a nuclear reactor." It lets out a loud noise and Wainfleet remarks that it is working now. We have no other information on what the Betabridge is other than what it looks like, but if it was built in Bridgehead, it can't be good for the Na'vi. Question for Avatar fans: How would you react if you woke up in an Avatar body?

Honestly, I think the thing that would stick out the most to me would be having a tail. I just know my dumb ass would panic thinking a bug was touching my leg when it was really just my own tail 😭 I'd probably keep forgetting it's there and slam it in doors when I close them behind me. Maybe that's why the Na'vi don't use doors.

Idk about this since the source its not really reliable but some fans theorize/said that Norm is actually supposed to have a bigger role in A3 wich makes me suspect that he's getting killed off. If that's the case then probably a more similar role than the one he got in the first film. I was wondering whats your take on this?

It's too early to tell either way, but I definitely could see Norm getting killed off. The Avatar movies don't shy away from killing off characters, and with all the promises of Avatar 3 taking a darker turn, I doubt it will be any different. Since the Sully family just lost Neteyam, I don't think they'll kill off any other main family members, at least not in A3, and I also believe Spider and Tsireya are safe from death since they were set up to have major roles in the sequels. And Quaritch has explicitly been confirmed to survive to Avatar 5 so he's not going anywhere.

So I don't believe we'll have a death in the main cast, but lots of secondary characters could be on the chopping block, like Norm, Tonowari, Aonung, or Wainfleet. If Norm is going to die in A3, I agree with what people have been theorizing, that he'll have a bigger role before he dies so his death will be more impactful. I believe there was an old draft of Avatar 1 where Wainfleet shot his avatar to death, and since Wainfleet is confirmed to be alive in Avatar 3, perhaps they'll revisit that idea and have Wainfleet kill him. Though I don't want Norm to die, if he does I hope he goes out performing a noble sacrifice to protect his friends, just like how Trudy died. At least they'll be reunited again 😭💙

Sooooo....I made and Avatar fanfic :p This is my first fic and it's for the first movie. I plan on making a second one for the second movie. It's a Tsu'Tey x reader fanfic because I love him so much and I couldn't break up the Sully family. The reader is Black/AA because I am half-black and I don't see many black reader fanfics for Avatar 😓 They are kind of gender natural I put they/them but when it comes to body parts/features I put male and female <3 It's on my ao3 and Wattpad (Username is LazyBoiKat on all platforms) and I might post it on here if I can figure out how to use Tumblr lol.
