Imagine: Jinx helping you?đ
(This came to mind as I had watched the âEnemy of my Enemyâ Arcane clip! This may look a little bit rushed, I mean, it came onto my mind suddenly so I just went for it!)
(SHORT!)
(Jinx X Fem Reader!)
(All of a sudden, inspiration!)
Rating: PG forâŚangst and fluff!
All you could see was destruction around you. Bodies of those Piltover soldiers lay lifelessly around you. Another battle against them. Apparently, Jinx had overused her explosives a little, causing a chain reaction with her supply, making the whole building you were in explode. And you had gotten caught in the middle of it. You try to push yourself up with your arms but they felt weakâŚinjured. Laying back down on the ground, you could see someone rush over to you, pulling you into their lapâŚit was Jinx. âY/n! Itâs okay! Iâm here, Iâm here!â, You glance up, seeing her worried pink colored eyes stare into your own. You canât help but smile faintly. All you could do was whisper. âJinxâŚI toldâŚyou not to overuse your...weaponsâŚyour ammunition...â, Jinx frowns slightly, pushing a strand of your hair out of your face. âI know, I knowâŚI got carried away! But donât worry! Iâll get you back on your feet!â, Jinx cradles your body, standing to her own feet as she carries you, bridal-style, your weight being nothing to her as she carries you back to her private quarters, at the âLast Dropâ. Upon entering, she places you onto her bed, analyzing your body for any major wounds you may have.
Since there were none, with only a few cuts and bruises on your arm and head, Jinx grabs this syringe full of Shimmer, injecting it into your shoulder. You could feel the serum working as you cringe, with your cuts and bruises already starting to heal up. âThereâŚthat should do itâŚâ, Jinx mutters to herself, proud of her âhandiworkâ as she puts the syringe away, grabbing a stool to sit nearby you. She grabs her gun, tooling away on it. âYâknowâŚwe should do this more oftenâŚâ, You sit up, hearing her words as you looks to her. âSaving each otherâs ass?â, Jinx chuckles. âYeah, yeahâŚsomething like thatâŚI help you and you help meâŚa win-win kind of thingâŚâ, You nod to her. âMmmâŚI seeâŚbut Iâm being real Jinx--â, You sit up fully to face her, your legs hanging off the bed. âI donât want anything to happen to youâŚâ, Jinx nods, her face turning solemn as she puts her gun off to the side. âYeah I knowâŚsame goes for youâŚâ, She scoots her stool closer to you. âHow do yah feel?â, You look to your arm, seeing your cuts were gone, the bruises fading away, also feeling your head to feel no cuts there either. âBetterâŚâ, Jinx takes your hand in hers. âNo matter whatâŚIâll be here for you...ââ, She gestures to you, wanting you to finish the sentence, as you canât help but smile. "âAnd youâll be here for meâŚâ, Jinx wraps an arm around you, embracing you lightly before letting go, standing to her feet.
âNow, Iâm off to go take care of some businessâŚyou need restâŚthe Shimmer will probably dissolve in an hour or twoâŚand youâll be on your feet in no time!â, She gently grasps your shoulder, making you lay back down onto the bed. âJust lemme know if you need anythingâŚIâll just be downstairs!â, You could only nod to her, feeling her give you a quick peck on the forehead, watching her as she leaves out the door. You could feel your exhaustion start to develop as your eyes grow heavy, starting to close them as you slowly drift into slumber. You were glad to be on Jinxâs side, being able to help her while she helped you in return. This would be a good outcome for the both of you.
The End!
Hopefully you enjoyed! If you liked it, then I thank you! It may be a bit rushed, but like I said, it went POOF onto my mind!
Made this little short of Michael Langdon from a comment one of my moots, @langdonss, said to meâŚ
Prompt, in quote: âHeâll share his bread with youâ
(Using my OC name)
(First Person)
Entering this dining room, I find a short blonde haired man sitting at a table, looking disheveled but was eating away on this stew and some bread. His eyes were red from crying. I can tell he needed company. And I needed his company too. I slowly walk over, sitting myself in a chair across from him. His eyes met mine, noticing my weariness and the sadness in my eyes. Iâm guessing he could tell I was in a depressive state. He takes a piece of his bread, handing that piece to me. I look to it, knowing he was offering me some type of comfort as I take it from him. âThanksâŚâ, I mutter to him, as he only responded with a faint smile and nod. Eating on my bread, he eats on his bread too, eating more of his stew before he speaks. âYou wonât starveâŚyou wonât be aloneâŚnot on my watchâŚâ, Those comforting words reached my soul somehow as I smile a faint pained smile. âSoâŚyouâll help me?â, He nods. âWeâll both help each otherâŚâ, He settles his utensil down, holding out his hand. âIâm MichaelâŚâ, I could already feel my spirits being lifted as I reach for his hand to take it. âLydiaâŚâ.

Who is that man?
A Modern! Haytham Kenway x Maid! Reader
A/N: I know I made that post ages ago, but it's finally here. Don't expect miracles cause I'm still stuck on Chapter 4. I was working on another major story before this one and it's still stuck at Chapter 10 and word don't let me open it. (i swear if it got deleted i am going to cry) NOBODY HAS ANY PERMISSION TO COPY, STEAL OR TRANSLATE THIS STORY!! Like and reblog if you like
Warning: CRINGE WRITING, it's the beginning ok after two major unfinished stories. Reader is cringe and is really, REALLY struggling financially, Haytham may come off as a creep but he means well.
Walking down the street, Y/N made her way to the nearest newspaper booth to pick up a paper. Skimming through the paper, she came across the Job section and looked at the openings. They all demanded the same requirements: a college degree in a specific field, 20+ experience, complete understanding of the field and credible references. Frustrated, Y/N put the paper under her arm and made way to the bulletin board outside the Workforce office. Openings the door, she was hit by the fresh air of the AC. Sighing in relief she walked to the bulletin and looked at the papers all stapled on top of each other. Moving and lifting papers to get a better look at them, she was suddenly hit by the scent of a strong cologne hitting her nostrils.
She turned to the direction of the scent only to see a man in a navy blue suit, jet black hair slicked back into a pony tail and gray eyes. As he entered the office to the workforce, Y/N snapped out of her trance returning to the papers on the bulletin. She took out her phone and began calling some of the numbers. At this point, she needed any type of job, even if it meant getting catcalled by her coworkers or getting caked in dirt and looking like she had been to hell and back. All she had was her old car that she was currently living in, 2 dollars in her pocket , her bank had suspended her account due to her overdraft fees and she was stealing old food from restaurants.
Calling the 5th number and receiving no good news, her eyes began to fill with tears. She leaned against the board, head on the wall with her arm above her head and cried, the newspaper dropping to the ground. The door to the workforce opened and laughing emitted out it. A dark chuckle came out and the cologne scent from before came out. As she continued to cry, footsteps began to approach her. She didnât realize until an hand was put on her shoulder. Startled, Y/N jumped back wiping the tears from her eyes, she looked up and saw the man in the blue suit with his gray eyes looking up at hers.
âIâm sorry, am I in your wayâ? The man chuckled, âNo, I saw you crying is everything alrightâ? Hand still on her shoulder, Y/N grabbed his hand off her shoulder. âNo, I canât seem to find a job anywhere I â Iâm sorry itâs none of your businessâ The man smirked, â What type of job are looking forâ? Sniffling, Y/N let out a frustrated sigh, âAt this point, anything that doesnât ask for 30 college degrees or 40 years of experience. The man smiled, âWell, I think I can help. I have a position opening soon, my longtime maid is retiring. And I need to have the position filled as soon as possible, Can you clean houses, wash and iron, prep a quick meal if need be?â.
Overcome with hope, Y/N nodded her head. âYes, my grandma used to clean houses for a living and my aunt use to be a personal chef, I would always go and help them to earn some cash when I was younger.â âWell, that's more than enough of what I am looking for. Do you have living accommodations or do you need a place to stay.â? Y/N wanted to explode then and there. The perfect opportunity walked through the door to save her from an unknown fate. Holding her composure, Y/N replied, âYes, Iâve been living in my car as of late.â
Embarrassment and shame crept up on her face as she felt her face heat up. The man smiled âWell then, itâs settled I finally can give up this little hunt for a new maid. Congratulations, youâre hired. I expect you to come on Tuesday at 7:00 am sharp. I do not tolerate tardiness and wear comfortable white shoes and a uniform will be provided for you. Your hair is expected to be groomed and kempt. Your hands and nails should be kept clean and no flamboyant makeup or hair. No phones on duty and you will have a room of your own, please keep in mind of others and keep the room clean and â â
Grrrooooowwwwlll!!!
Everything was going so well, until Y/Nâs stomach made its presence known. Awkwardly smiling at the man, she wished the ground could swallow her whole. The man coughed, âYes well as I was saying - Gggggrrrrroooowlll! Yes, well keep that in mind, the address is 7820 in the Jefferson Estates. It's a white/ beige big manor on 40 acres as well as a fountain in the middle and a name plate out front. The phone number is 563-9823.â The man unbuttoned his suit jacket and reached into the pocket. He pulled out 3 hundreds and a business card.
Y/Ns eyes bulged out her eye sockets âHere for your 'troublesâ pointing to her stomach. Y/ N awkwardly giggled, cursing her stomach. He turned around, then turned back around, âAh, I didnât get your name, missâ. âHuh, oh itâs Y/N L/N. The man grabbed her hand and kissed her knuckles, âHaytham Kenwayâ . Heat creeping up her face, Haytham turned around and left. She slid down the wall and breathed a sigh of relief. She had never gone through a rollercoaster of emotions in a small amount of time. She had only realized that this man gave her three hundred dollars like pocket change. She began to freak out, but her stomach reminded her as to why she got that money in the first place. Looking at the business card she could have sworn that name sounded familiar.

A/N. I have terrible grammar I know, I am trying my best to fix this and do other things. Still trying to figure out how and what direction this story is going to go. Btw everybody including Edward and Ziio is alive except for Edwards first wife and maybe his second?. They'll be substories to this to explain more to the way they are.
Warnings: none really, terrible writing, btw NOBODY HAS ANY PERMISSION TO STEAL, COPY OR TRANSLATE THIS STORY. Likes and reblogs are appreciated.
Chapter 2
Rags to riches ....maybe?
Nervousness was in the air as the drive from the old parking lot to Kenway Manor was beginning to wear down Y/Nâs patience. She thought that this man lived in the city, but no, he had to buy a big fat house surrounded by other big fat houses. It felt like she was going in circles. Big, obnoxious lawns that all seemed the same were beginning to haunt her mind. Just as she was going to call Mr. Kenway, she pulled up to the only house that matched the description of the house. That and the big sign out on the gate that said KENWAY. There was a booth and the guard stopped her.
âCan I help you?â Sweating and nerves building up, Y/N said, âwork, I ..er.. new maid.â The guard went inside the booth and looked at the computer he came back outside. âYes, Miss L/N , Mr. Kenway's maid has been expecting you, youâre a little late so you might wanna hurry on in.â Looking at her phone, it was 7:54, she was an hour late. As soon as the guard opened the gate, she sped in like a Nascar driver and pulled up to one of the most beautiful houses that she had ever seen. The place reeked of wealth and luxury the fountain was no small feat within itself. This place looked like a big business instead of house.
As Y/N was gawking at the house someone approached the car and knocked on her window. A older lady in her 50s smiled and pointed to the watch on her wrist. Unbuckling her seatbelt, she opened the door and grabbed her bag and phone. She was wearing tights,a T-shirt and tennis shoes with her hair pulled back The older lady grabbed her hand and walked her in. âMy name is Ana, this is the Kenway house, you must be the new maid Mr. Kenway told me about, you are here for the maid position, yes?â
Y/N nodded her head, âYes, I was told to be here at 7:00 but got here late, Iâm sorry I got lost with all these houses.â Walking in the house with Y/N in tow. Ana shook her head and laughed, âDonât worry, I was the same when I first met Mr. Mr. Kenway." âMr. Mr. Kenway?â Ana replied, âOh sorry, Mr. Haythamâs father. He hired me and I have been working for the Kenways for over 28 years, I saw Mr. Haytham grow up into a man and have a child of his own.â They made their way into the laundry room where all the clothes were pressed and clean.
It smelled like heaven in that place. Memories began to flood Y/N about her Aunt and Grandma. She remembers it like it was yesterday, she could see her grandma with the washboard and hot iron. Her thought were disrupted by Ana giving her a uniform and telling her to try it on. Going to a corner, Y/N undressed herself and put the dress on surprisingly it fit her. She folded her tights and shirt, putting her shoes back on. Ana looked at Y/N, âWow on the first try, it looks good on you. You can bring your clothes with you."
Mr. Kenway said you need a place to stay , yes?" âYes." âThen come, I will take you to your room and introduce you to the house and all the rooms.â They walked down the hallway. As Ana introduced the rooms, which were bigger than any apartment Y/N had ever seen and some were even bigger than her childhood home. Mouth wide open, she looked around with curiosity and amazement. Ana chuckled at Y/Nâs starstruck face. âMiss L/N we are here, this is going to be your bedroom for the time being it has a private bathroom and closet." Y/Nâs eyes practically popped out of her head, her mouth was halfway to the floor. Ana began to laugh as she turned to look at Y/Ns face. âOh, miss L/N we have only seen one bedroom, wait till you see the whole house.â Y/N was speechless.
Setting her clothes down at the foot of the bed, Y/N was dragged out of her room by Ana and back into the hallway. â Youâll have plenty of time to admire it later.â Ana said with a chuckle.

My first fanfic! I'm proud of it even if it's a little rushed. I barely managed to get it out within the day. Tomorrow's prompt might just be a drawing.
Day 1:
Hug/Cabin 7/Shapeshifter
Fic below:
TW: very brief depiction of a panic attack, description of nightmare.
It had been a month since Vee's mom and sister came back from the boiling isles.
The stress Vee felt the few days it took for the return was immeasurable. A worry for her family took root in the back of her mind, it made sleep nearly impossible, and gave her nightmares.
Waiting for months, no contact, no words, no way of knowing if they are alive. No magic. She'd be found out, spreding herself too thin with Camila and Luz's responsibilities, inevitably slipping up. People from the town gazing upon her demonic form. The eyes of Belos's monsterous form looming behind everyone. her family, Luz's friends all dead they couldn't stop him THEY COULDN'T COME HOME THEY WERE DEAD HE KILLED THE â
In the present, Vee shook her head to dispel the images her imagination made. She remembers the dreams vividly, still occasionally seeing them in her sleep.
The week following their return, she found the pamphet Masha handed her. Blushing (But NOT because she remembers making a fool of herself in front of them), she decided it was time to take up their offer.Â
And it turned out AMAZING, Masha's gradoise flair really fitting the tour guide gig. It was just like back at Cabin seven when They waxed poeticly about the many pagen dieties and what they did.Â
Vee kept up with Masha's narration, interjecting questions when she thought of them, keeping the conversation flowing. Vee told Masha about herself, and Masha shared stories about their friends. An aching Vee didnât realize she had in her heart began to fade talking to her friend after so long, but only slightly.
Masha didn't know that she knew them. For all they knew, they were talking to a complete stranger. The person they talked to couldn't possibly be the shy, anxious girl they shared a cabin with. She couldn't be the friend they helped bring out of her shell, who looked at all things mundane with innocent wonder. She wasn't Luz Noceda.
The insecurity persisted, became even bigger after Masha invited Vee to hang out with their friends. Diego, the tall, relaxed boy who let his hair fall onto his face and probably had a million zits on his forhead. Samantha; or rather Sam, who had a love for video games and anime, and rambled about them to the captivated audience of her friends.Â
Neither of them knew her as Vee either. It was awkward, but managable, getting to know them a second time. She noticed that they were each more comfortable in conversation than when they were back at camp. They were all less reluctant to share the information about themselves that took them weeks to share at camp. Vee supposed she was also more confident, staying in a cabin with each other must have been to thank for that.
She didn't know how long she could keep lying to them, for her own sanity.
"Say," Masha began, "What about those kids you were hanging out with? They're your other friends, right?"Â
Vee, lying belly down looked up from the Cosmic frontier book she was reading. "Huh? She got so invested in the plot it took her brain a while to process Masha's question.Â
"Y'know, at the historical society, right before Halloween," Masha clarified. "You guys asked me about that rebus remember? That one kid was going on like, 'Grahh chop off my ear' or something," Masha giggled.Â
Oh. Luz's friends. Vee knew the witches also considered her part of the group, but it was easier thinking of them as her sister's friend group.
Wait... They didn't have a proper cover story! Vee was terrible at lying on the fly, but she needed to start talking now!
"O- OH YEAH, that was Gus. H-hes pretty fun. Then theres uhhh, Amity with the pink hair, Willow had glasses, and... oh yeah Hunter too but he was at our home that day." Vee needed to stall so she could come up with something.
"Is he The Blond cosmic frontier fan?" Masha asked, which confused Vee.
"When did you see him? I don't remember him going to your job after we left."
"No, I actually saw them at the haunted hayride! oh, I guess I only told you two-" Masha points two fingers at Sam and Diego respectively "-about that since you weren't hanging out with us back then. Whoops~"
Suddenly, Diego piped up. "Wait, you said 'Our' Home. So they like, live at your place or something"Â Â
CRAP!
"Uhhhh well... you see." Think of something Vee, just spit it out. "Foreign excange students?" she thought out loud. "-From out of state not another country!" she amended in a panic.
"Oâkay?" Sam raised her eyebrow "I've never seen them at school before, and you know I watch people like a hawk." It was true, back at camp, Sam compiled a list of the campers from other cabins activities in order to know who to watch out for.Â
It wasn't a skill she thought would be used agsinst her.
"Well, There are other schools in the area you know? I think they went to, yknow..." She didn't know the names of any other high schools. "...Not Gravesfield high?" She finished with a shrug. And also, they went back to their own rea-" DONT SAY REALM "TOWN like, right after Halloween, so yeah, that's why you've never seen 'em" She finished with a shrug and a manic chuckle.
How did she keep this up for thee months straight? She must've lost her touch. Then again, she considered not having to lie as a good thing.
"Sure, I'll accept that." Sam relented.
"Hold up, am I missing something, or does that like. Not make sense." Diego once again came in with his terribly timed questions. "Cause like, you said they lived in your house, why wouldn't they go to the same school?" How is he so perceptive!? It must be because he doesn't devote much energy into responding so he can listen better.
Masha put a hand on her shoulder "Hey, sorry about him Vee, if theres something you don't want to tell us, you don't have to." assured Masha. "We didn't mean to push so far." Masha turns toward the offender, "Diego." They enunciate.
Vee didn't her most of what Masha said. Where Masha tried to reassure her, Vee only heard an accusation. 'something you don't want to tell us' sounded more like 'You're hiding something, aren't you Vee.'Â And what did that last part mean? Could they tell she was panicking? WHY DID THEY SOUND ANGRY?
They'reGoingToForce AnswersOutOfmeNobodyTrustsMe-
Everything turned blurry, she was hyper aware of all the sounds of the room closing in on her. Her heartbeat was in her ears, everyones voices blended into a cocophony She needed to get away She's clammy and very sweaty-
It's queit, what changed, is there still danger?
She heard breathing, not her own, someone elses, not her own, and it makes her realize how quick she's breathing. She tries to slow down, matching the pace of the other person.Â
When she finally steadied herself (it felt like several minutes but also less than one)Â She opened her eyes (They were closed?) and sees Masha sitting on her knees on the bed in front of her (She doesn't remember getting into this corner). They continued to demonstrate the breathing exercise, which they also did with their hands.
Vee thinks she remembers something like this happening at camp, but isn't sure right now. Masha gestured their hands out wide, clearly asking if it was okay if they could give a hug.Â
You don't deserve one, her brain tells her. No, she shakes her hehead.
Masha sits with her, and they both breath. Such a simple act, filled with so much understanding. You doesn't deserve Masha.Â
She's now aware enough to know how mean she's being to herself. She spots her other friends sitting in the middle of the room, Dego on the floor while Samantha sits in the desk chair. She gives a meek wave and they wave back without keeping eye contact. They look ashamed, Masha must've given them a talking to.
"Hi guys, sorry you had to see that," she knew she shouldn't be apologizing, but this whole situation never would've happened if she was truthful from the beginning.Â
"No Vee, this wasn't your fault." Says Masha
Sam adds in "We're sorry. Diego said he should've realised before he asked that. And I'm sorry for getting so uptight about answers." Sam makes eye contact at the end, though it almost looks like she's scrutinizing Vee's face-
-She spins to look at the mirror and sees a splotchy mess of skin on her face. One could confuse it for vitiligo -a skin condition she learned some humans have- if not for the fact her face was previously a single solid shade of brown.Â
Her hair is now completely blue, and a bit shorter, exposing her ears in their full glory. They must've been flapping like crazy during her panic attack.
Her sclera was blue, and took on the glossy sheen of an amphibious creature.Â
None of those are human traits.
Her head snaps back towards Masha, cringing while waiting for a reaction.
"So..." They began. "I um. I like your ears?" They clerly want to say more, but refrains to be polite. "Once again, I don't wanna force you to answer. I've just got a lotta theories in my noggin right now and I would like to know the truth. But again, no pressure. Whetever the truth is, I'll try not to react badly." They finished by putting their hands up and smiling.Â
Both looked at their friends who nodded. "Hey I'm cool with you being a shape-changing spirit, or some cryptid, or whatever you are. Again, I'm sorry." Sam smiles.
Diego nods and says "Ditto, what she said."
"And if you're not ready right now, we trust you. We just want you to be comfortable with us. You can talk later
Now was the time to come clean to her friends. It wasn't because she was backed into a corner. They let her keep her secrets if she really needed too.
Her eyes tear up, and the tears wetted her cheek. They trust her.
Hopefully they stayed true to their words. Here goes nothing.
"Um, Let me tell you about a place called the Boiling Isles"
She shapeshifts into her true skin for the first time in their presence.
Sam fellbackwards off her chair while Diego simply said "woah." After squeaking in a high pitch, Masha just stared, taking in the details of her true for from her tail to her hair.
She couldâve eased the group in better, could've given them a better idea of what to expect. But flowery speeches were Luzâs deal, and Vee wanted to rip off the bandaid.
She hoped they would share Mom and Luz's opinions on how non-threatening she looked. Masha looked far from disgusted at least, but she had no idea what was on Diego's mind.
Sam lifted her chair to defend herself, before realizing how it looked and set it down. Vee only now remembered Sam has a fear of snakes, Ophidiophobia if she's correct.Â
She considered apologizing, but decided against it, given this whole thing was mostly Sam's fault. She could be petty, she deserves it. She's definitely getting around to it later though.
they let her explain herself in full, with no interruptions. She told them about the titan, demon and witches. She wasn't quite ready to tell them how she was born, but she told them she pretended to be Luz for the summer.
Everyone's eyes grew wide at the admission, and it looked like they had something to say. Then they looked in her eyes and she gave a look that said she never wanted to hurt them.
She didn't expect them to start joking around so quickly after several earth shattering revelations, but she could tell that they wanted to lighten the mood before discussing them.
They were also being super frustrating about the cute comments.
âI'm not cute. Luz calls everything cute, like. Possums, for one.â She scrunches her face, âand she didn't even bat an eye at a bunch of talking rats!âÂ
âYour face looks like a cat,â says Diego, his mouth curved in an uncharacteristicly mischievous grin. âBut like, a bald cat that fell in a can of green paint.â He teases.Â
"Hey, you up for that hug yet, Vee?" Masha smiled that pretty gap toothed smile, and Vee felt her resolve shatter.Â
"Y'know what? yeah. I could use one." Vee agreed.
"Want to make it four?" They asked, to which Vee nodded.
Vee tightly hugged Masha, and they embraced. With Vees hace in the crook of their neck, she wrapped her tail around Diego who had moved behind her. "Sweet" he simply remarked.
Masha looked at where Sam sat crisscrosed, hand hovering over Vee's tail hesitsntly. "Hey, you know she's not slimy, right?" Masha indignantly asked. "She's also warmer than I expected, she barely even feels like a snake. More like what I imagine a dragon would be like." Masha blinked "Can you turn into a dragon?" Masha almost shouted.
Vee shrugged, Sam insisted "But do IÂ have to?"
"Yeah, get over here dummy!" Vee wrapps the end of her tail around Sam's midsection. Vee thinks she looks a bit pale.
"Geez it must be 'everybody bully Sam hour' today! Really, I'm still sorry," Sam defends.Â
"You were a jerk, you owe me something expensive!"
Diego and Masha laughed at Sams expression, Vee leans deeper into Masha's hug.Â
"You okay Vee-Vee?" masha softly asks.
"Yeah," Vee looks around at her friends. getting an idea.
"Cabin seven!"
"HOO HAA HAA!" chorused four voices
"I love you guys." whispered the shapeshifter amongst her closest friends.
i had forgotten the part of editing where i forget to make even small changes and end up for some reason moving an entire paragraph. the good part is that it's for fun.
Hereâs the next chapter on this fic
And hereâs a picture my friend did of what hero puppy looks like
âOh my god, a mosco!!â - âIâm a FAIRY!!â
-----
Slammed on the wall was a humanoid creature with its head having what looked like red flower petals but still not? The creatureâs body was half really dark brown, and orange while it wore a ragged and torn cloak over its shoulders and dusty red and orange striped pants with no shoes. Around it were a few girls looking at it in confusion and slight disgust.
â...Did I kill it?â A young, slightly Asian looking girl with a large magenta bow on her head looked at the creature on the wall while a sandal was on the floor near the wall where the creature went splat and she coincidentially was missing one of her sandals. SLAP!
The girls turned and stared at a bigger girl with black skin, curly hair and green attire who just slapped the thing to the wall again. âYeah, I think it be dead dead now!â The girl said as she pulled her hand away from the dead creature. Or so they thought, the creature started groaning in pain and annoyance, making the girls panic. âKILL IT WITH FIRE-!!â
â
âWait wait wait wait, we canât start like this! Let me show you the context of this chaos!â
â--->
Earlier that day, five girls were all washing a car in the driveway, one of them just splashing others with the hose instead of actually helping clean the car. That one was Diane, a chaotic half Portuguese girl who did little to no actual work.
âQuit it Diane!â A tall, black skinned and curly haired girl with red attire named Adira yelled at Diane and huffed when Diane just giggled mischievously.
Her laughter stopped when the girl with the bow, aka Goldie, threw some water from a bucket at Diane, immediately running away cackling when Diane started chasing her.
âSooooo, why are you cleaning your momâs car again?â The girl with green attire asked, her name being Alanis. âIt was either this or get my stuff taken away.â A girl with light pink, blue and lavender hair said as she washed the car with a soapy wet cloth, her name being Gin.
âAight, thatâs fair.â Alanis said. âHey, did you hear about the forest fire from a few weeks ago?â
âOh, that? Yeah, I heard. Same day of the eclipse apparently. Crazy coincidence huh?â Gin said as Alanis nodded.
âSo weird! It came out of nowhere! I havenât heard any news of anyone getting hurt though so I guess thatâs good.â Alanis said.
The girls were enjoying the day just washing the car and splashing each other with water that they did not notice the rather short creature flying around the place. Adira had Diane in a headlock while Gin and Alanis laughed at the situation as GoIdie squeezed water out of her hair. The creature had been successfully kept itself hidden due to the girls paying more attention to each other than their environment but did the mistake of flying too close to Goldie, who freaked out when she felt a presence nearby and almost on instinct took off one of her sandals and threw it at the creature, the pressure of the sandal make it go splat on the wall! Goldie watched with wide eyes before calling out to the others. âGUYS!â
<----â
And thatâs how we got here!
âDude⌠what the fuckknuckles is THAT?!â Diane exclaimed as she and the other girls looked down at the creature that had fallen to the ground after getting slapped AGAIN.
âA mosquito?â Alanis suggested.
âToo big for a mosquito.â Adira said.
âCucaracho!â Gin exclaimed as the creature groaned. âShould we call someone?â
âYes but not our parents.â Goldie said.
âThat much is obvious. Gen?â Gin asked as the others nodded. âGen it is then!â
Taking out her phone, the cotton candy looking girl looked through her contacts and called the one that was named âRaccoonâ, waiting for the person to answer. The phone rang around 4 times before the person picked up.
âWhat did you guys do this time?â A tired and exasperated voice asked through the phone.
âHey, what makes you think we did anything?â Gin asked.
âYou never call unless you wanna ramble or you fucked up somehow. You said you were cleaning your momâs car, whatâs there to ramble about THAT?â The girl on the phone asked.
ââŚOkay, we have a bit of a situation.â Gin admitted.
âThought so. Iâm coming over.â The girl sighed before hanging up.
âSoooooâŚâ Diane said as she poked the creature with a stick. âWhat do we do with this?â
âOkay, what am I looking at?â A girl that appears to be the oldest of the bunch asked, looking at the creature that was now wrapped in a towel on a bed.
The creatureâs face was half really dark brown, and the other half was orange, its cheeks seemingly having what would be considered blush that could only be found on dolls. The girls were all in Ginâs room, Gen looking at the creature while the others looked at Gen.
âÂżMosquito?â Alanis said.
âItâs too big to be a mosquito.â Gen, the oldest, deadpanned.
âÂĄMosco!â Diane exclaimed.
âIt doesn't even resemble a mosquito! Why are you calling it a mosquito?!â Gen said as the girls just shrugged, making her groan in annoyance. âOkay, it is definitely NOT a mosquito or any kind of bug. Itâs not anything like Iâve ever seen before.â
âItâs lucky Ally didnât accidentally squash it.â Adira said as Alanis giggled nervously.
âMaybe itâs a fairy?â Goldie suggested.
SilenceâŚ
âNah.â
âCanât be.â
âImpossible.â âI donât think so.â
The girls were slapped behind their heads by Genesis when they said that.
âIt is clearly a fairy! Jeez, yâall dumb or what?â Gen said. âAlso, why is that so hard to believe huh? Have you forgotten the amount of times you all have gotten us in trouble because you messed with some magical thing when I specifically tell you NOT to mess with?â
âOh yeah⌠In my defense, I forget.â Diane said.
âOf course you do.â Gen said as she turned to the fairy. âYou think itâll wake up soon?â
âI donât know dude, Alanis slapped it a lot.â Gin said.
Gen sighed as she sat down on the bed beside the creature. She rubbed her temples as she felt a headache come in. It hasnât even been a week since the last magic trouble the girls have gotten into and now they have a fairy in their hands. Just peachy!
âYou think itâll be mad?â Gin asked as she poked the towel burrito fairy.
âI mean, Iâd be mad if I was slapped to a wall.â Adira said.
âHeheheh, Iâm in trouble.â Alanis chuckled.
âYeah you are.â Goldie said.
âUghhâŚâ
The girls all snapped their heads at the sound, looking at the towel burrito fairy⌠who was waking up. Its eyelids slowly fluttered open, revealing mismatched eyes with the irises being orange while the right sclera was a yellow color, almost white while the left one was pitch black. Most of the group backed away a bit but Gen stayed put, she didnât have the energy to back away from a potential threat nor did she really care.
âOoooh, we fucked!â Diane said as the girls agreed.
âSmol!â Goldie exclaimed in awe.
âAbby would so cry at its clothes.â Alanis mumbled.
âAgreed.â Adira said.
The fairy appeared a bit groggy when it woke up but snapped open its eyes the moment it took in its surroundings and saw the girls, HUMAN girls, standing there, staring at it.Â
âHi!â Gin said to the fairy, a wide smile on her face.
The moment realization set in, the fairyâs expression turned to one of pure hatred as it tried to get out of its fluffy prison. The girls watched the creature struggle a bit and couldn't help but giggle.
âOkay, this is kinda funny to watch.â Adira said as the others chuckled.
They didnât laugh for long, however, when the towel caught fire and turned into ashes.
Silence came over the roomâŚ
And thenâŚ
âÂĄCabrĂłn!â Gin was the one to break the silence with her scream, grabbing the fairy from the bed as she looked at the pile of ashes on it. âNow itâs gonna smell like smokeâŚ! Dang itâŚâ
âUnhand me this instant!â The fairy yelled in indignation.
âAnd the towel, the fucking towel! I am so lucky I used an old one, if I used one of the new ones, my mom would have killed me!â Gin said, not hearing out the fairy.
âHonestly, same.â Adira said as Alanis nodded.
âMe too! Ashes on the bed? Oh, thatâs a death sentence!â Diane added her two cents.
âOw!â Gin exclaimed as she dropped the fairy and looked at the palm of her hands in confusion. âDid you just burn me??â
The fairy did not answer at first, it simply flew in the air, glaring at the group of girls who either looked shocked, confused or just⌠bored.
âWhy am I here?!â The fairy demanded to know.
âUhh, Goldie kind of made you go splat on a wall cause she thought you were a bug so we brought you here to make sure Ally didnât accidentally kill you when she slapped you two other times.â Diane said as she looked at Goldie and Ally.
âSorry, I panickedâŚâ Goldie said, a bit embarrassed.
âItâs instinct! If it twitches, ya gotta hit it to make sure it stays dead!â Ally said as the rest looked at her, unimpressed.
âAnyway, who are you?â Gen asked, turning to the fairy with a raised brow.
âWhy should I speak to you maggots?â The fairy seethed at the humans.
âI donât know. Iâm kinda bored.â Gen said.
âSo this is how itâs like being burned⌠Cool!â Gin said with a wide, very unsettling smile on her face.
The fairy looked unnerved and confused at the cotton candy color haired girlâs reaction at being injured. Seriously, what the hell?
âYou gonna answer my question or question why cotton chick is a masochist?â Gen asked. âI advise you donât do the latter, youâll end up scarred for life.â
âWhy would you humans want to know who I am?â The fairy said as he narrowed his eyes at the girl.
âCurious,â Gen said with a shrug.
ââŚJust that? Curious?â The fairy repeated, scoffing in disbelief. âYouâre serious?â
âYeah, I am.â Gen said tiredly. âYou know, youâre kinda rude.â
âOh, Iâm sorry, am I supposed to care about how I treat your kind?â The fairy said in a mocking tone, grinning like a little shit, which annoyed Gen.
âI donât know what your deal is but can you please not act like a total douche?â Gen said as she scowled slightly at the fairy.
âI could⌠but I only do so for people who truly deserve respect.â The fairy stated. âWhat, you think I should respect you lowlives? How pathetic can you be to expect such a thing from me?â
Now that made Genesis snap.
âOkay, ya wanna be a bitch now? Fine! You listen up! I was called to make sure these gals didnât get themselves killed cause they swatted an oversized cockroach who might as well have dropped dead. I was worried that they killed an innocent creature but it seems I was wrong.â Gen scowled at the fairy, who glared back. âWho do you think you are, acting all high and mighty? You think youâre better than us huh? I donât know who you are and frankly I could care less but I swear to whichever god exists above, I WILL make sure you pray to them if you are to insult or burn one of them again.â
The human girl and the fairy stayed silent as they kept glaring at each other for a very long while, neither breaking eye contact. Meanwhile, the rest of the girls were watching all this unfold with bated breaths.
âOkay, getting bored, Gin, I am raiding your fridge!â Diane said as she skipped out of the room to the kitchen.
âYeah yeah, whatever!â Gin said as she looked at her burnt hands.
âOkay, letâs get that patched up.â Adira sighed as she dragged Gin away to heal her burns.
âDid we ever finish washing Ginâs momâs car?â Goldie asked.
âUgh, Iâll finish washing it.â Gen groaned as she grabbed the fairy. âAnd you are coming with. I ainât letting you out of my sight.â
The fairy yelled at Gen and thrashed around, demanding she put them down. It even tried burning her but it just⌠didnât work?
âMom friend immunity!â Diane yelled, answering the non asked question of the fairyâs.
This was going to be annoying.
âŚ
âŚ
âŚ
Hosing off the leftover soap suds from the car, Genesis was in a rather bad mood now. One because she was interrupted from doing a project, two because she had to deal with a jerk ass fire fairy who kept trying to burn her and three, she had to finish washing the car cause she doubted the other girls would do so.
âYou certainly look like a ray of sunshine.â The fairy said sarcastically while in Genâs grip.
âShut up. I have a headache and your stupid comments are NOT helping.â Gen mumbled as she rubbed her temples.
She was feeling very drained, even speaking was too much workâŚ
âI am aware.â The fairy said with a grin, which annoyed Gen even more.
âOkay, I am sorry my friends swatted you but can you not act like a total jerk? Itâs getting old.â Gen said as she looked at the fairy she was holding.
âLike that will stop me.â The fairy scoffed.
Gen rolled her eyes, figuring she would get nowhere with this stubborn as Hell fairy.
âŚ
â...Why does my fire not hurt you?â The fairy asked Genesis, which caught her a bit off guard.
âWhat?â Gen asked as she turned to the fairy.
âI said, why does my fire not hurt you? I have been trying to hurt you but itâs not like you even feel it!â The fairy said, grumbling under its breath. âItâs frustratingâŚâ
âI⌠donât know.â The girl mumbled.
âSo youâre a freak of nature huh?â The fairy said, trying to get under her skin.
âYep.â Gen said just that.
âSeriously? Thatâs it?â The fairy said, frowning at the girlâs one word answer.
Gen just nodded her head.
âOh, so now youâre not going to talk? What, did I hurt your feelings?â The fairy mocked.
Gen only shook her head.
âThen why arenât you speaking?!â The fairy screamed at the girl in frustration.
Gen just shrugged her shoulders. She felt tired so as soon as she finished cleaning off the car, she went inside Ginâs house, where she saw the girls chilling inside with Gin having some bandages on her hands. Gen grumbled under her breath, getting the attention of Adira and Alanis. âHey, you okay?â Adira asked as Gen shook her head. âYou tired?â Gen nodded as she handed the fairy to Adira before going over to the couch and laying on it, quickly falling asleep.
âWhatâs wrong with her?â The fairy asked, kind of confused.
âSheâs just drained, is all. College applications are taking a toll on her so it makes her more exhausted than usual.â Adira answered as she put the fairy down on the table. âLet me guess, she only shook or nodded her head to any questions you had.â âYes.â The fairy said.
âYeah, thatâs how you know sheâs super drained! Like, drained enough so that even speaking is too much work!â Alanis added herself into the conversation.
âOther times she just doesnât feel like speaking and communicating through texts and stuff.â Adira said.
âTexts?â The fairy repeated.
âYeah, you know, text messages.â Adira said, waving her phone around a bit.
âWhat is that??â The fairy asked, confused.
âA⌠phone? Have you ever seen one?â Adira asked.
âI have but I do not know the purpose of such tools.â The fairy said as it flew around the house, checking some of the stuff around the place.
The fairy looked around, staring at the walls and the rooms of the house. It entered Ginâs room, taking proper notice of its surroundings now. It was a pastel red color with a dresser and a large, circular mirror, white shelves on the walls that held some pretty old cartoon mouse plushies, some posters of different fandoms (not like the fairy would recognize any of them), a cream colored dress that had a closed laptop and a drawing tablet along with some traditional art tools. Near the window was a bookshelf with a collection of books, some going as far as being horror to comic books while also having some figurines placed between some parts of it and some movie DVDs too. The closet was filled with different outfits, some being different variations of red and most being pants, some even being suits. Hanging there was a pink, fluffy robe with snowflake and dogs with Christmas hats and scarves patterns. On the door were hanging different types of purses, like, a lot!
âThis is⌠some room.â The fairy mumbled.
âPretty neat huh?â Gin said out of nowhere while eating fried chicken, startling the fairy.
âWhere did you-â The fairy said before getting cut off.
âDonât worry about it! Anyway, you donât know what a phone is so I suspect you donât know what a laptop is either.â Gin said as she ate her chicken.
âThat would be correctâŚâ The fairy muttered as he looked at Ginâs food. âWhat are you eating?â âFried chicken! The best there is!â Gin said, noticing the way the fairy looked at the food. âWant some?â âMe? Want your human food? Hah! Donât make me laugh!â The fairy laughed but was cut off when his stomach grumbled.
âYa sound pretty hungry to me.â Gin said as the fairy growled at her. âListen, I donât know why you dislike humans so much and I know it ainât my place to ask about it but can you please at least just not antagonize us? You can ignore us, you can act like we donât exist, thatâs fine. But donât treat us with such disrespect when we don't do anything.â âYour friend swatted me into a wall.â The fairy said with a deadpan at the memory, which made Gin grimace.
âOoookay, that one is on us.â Gin said as she rubbed the back of her neck.
Silence took holdâŚ
âŚ
âYouâre an odd one. Smiling after being burned.â The fairy said. âWhy would you smile? Doesn't it hurt?â âI mean, yeah, of course it hurts. But I guess cause I donât get hurt often, it sometimes spikes my adrenaline, like how it did when I first dyed my hair!â Gin said with a grin as she ran her fingers through her multi-colored hair. âYou ainât wrong, I am kinda odd but it beats being boring! As for the pain, why worry...? Something like a burn will heal eventually with time no?"
Gin laughed softly as she left a plate of chicken on the desk of her room as she walked to her door. Â
âI will admit, my friends and I are not the most efficient of the overall human population. We are not fully sane I would say but I think we are alright. At least we are decent enough to not be jerks to customer service!â Gin stated proudly. The fairy did not understand that last bit.
âYou can stay if you want, as long as you donât cause problems. Name is Gin, by the way. Gin Rose.â Gin said. âDoubt youâll actually use my name but hey, itâs best to know anyway right?â With that, she left the room. The fairy looked at the open door for a little while before flying over to the desk with the plate of food.
âWhat a strange girl.â The fairy stated as he looked at the food.
And then Eclipse took a biteâŚ
----- So a few months ago I wrote a mini fic called When Autumn Starts about my OC Daniel meeting and interacting with Fairy Eclipse so I decided to make a longer fic where not 1 but 6 of my OCs interact with him! It was fun making this!
Hope you enjoyed this lil fic! DCA Fairy AU and Fairy Eclipse belong to @ayyy-imma-ninja (I hope I got his personality alright, I know it's not 100% accurate but I did my best!) Goldie, Gen, Gin, Adira, Alanis and Diane belong to me!
My latest No Manâs Sky fanfiction chapter is out! Check it out on AO3. (Will add FFN and DeviantArt links once theyâre posted.)

19 notes and not a single person has a fucking answer
this is what happens to dca fic writers
when I say I outline my plots before writing this is what I mean
So, this is a new shorter fanfic and I'm a bit nervous. I haven't written in a while, so my motivation is low, very low, and I apologise for that.
That fic based the Attack on Titan final season :)

I just see your smile.
"Why couldn't I protect you!"
Psi was very slow to wake up. Lying on her back in all her pain, she felt the weight of overwork, exhaustion and stress. Her body felt heavy and she had no energy to move, so her eyes focused on Pierre, who was desperately trying to help. Tears were streaming down her face for some reason.
But the weight on her lungs was becoming harder to ignore, the more she moved the more she struggled to breathe. Finally, with each breath, she mustered the strength to keep her eyes open, but to no avail, she closed them more and more slowly. Lying there panting, she remembered in a stupidly delayed way what the hell had befallen her in the last second.
On the planet Omega, a conquering team had entered space police territory in order to kill Pierre. However, when their leader, Gabe, prepared to pull the trigger, the bullet hit Psi instead of Pierre. She only felt something hard hit the back of her chest and lost her balance. She is now lying in her own blood.
Just as Gabe was about to fire another round at Pierre, the boy deflected it with his laser gun. The crew and management turned towards the enemy and began to beat him to a pulp with insulting words. Pierre took no part in this and instead ran towards Psi.
- Psi! Hey, speak up! Hey!" shouted Pierre, trying to stop the bleeding.
She swallowed uncomfortably, worried that she was trying harder than anything to get a single word out.
- Pi..pierre... Why are you so loud....? I'd like... A...Little...Silence...
Pierre, terrified, felt the blood drain out of her back and onto the floor
Maestro ran to them and knelt before the dying girl. Metro is
was beside the old man.
- Metro what are you standing there? Tell the med team to get a stretcher and a tourniquet. We need to stop the bleeding, Maestro said urgently. "Now!"
- Yes, sir.
Pierre tried to communicate, though in his gut he knew it was no good. There was a long moment of silence on the line, and Psi was still crouched on the floor, whispering something. Her surroundings had turned black.
Pierre hugged her shot body to him, resting it on his crossed legs. She was limp against him, her body stained with blood. Meanwhile, she continued to choke, gasping desperately for oxygen.
- Ohh, my dear angel," Pierre said in a hoarse voice. Her head fell on his shoulder and tears streamed down his cheeks.
He hoped his beloved would not bleed to death before his eyes.
