Tiny toad micro photo I took

Not what I usually post but these rocks, proudly showing off all their markings and all the things that makes them beautiful, it made me feel better about mine.
Ur scars are beautiful. What makes u different makes u strong.

took up photography this year, have some photos I took yesterday:
all of these are unedited, and taken on a Cannon EOS Rebel T6 DSLR with a telephoto zoom lens and polarized filter for my fellow photography nerds.

also the camera and all my equipment was supplied to me by my school.

Like the photography? ❤️ (P.S. my walk playlist)

I took a walk to enjoy nature and it was honestly nice 😌
With all this despair, my alter human but needed it 🥲
I guess lately, I've just been enjoying the whole nature child vibe 🥀
But in a way I guess it makes sense. As much as I've at times avoided them, I prefer animals to people 🐈
That being said, I didn't get home and expect to find a wasp casually crawling about my neck 💀
Maybe I'm too in touch with nature 😅
Tragic therian matters 😭

Some kind of bolete mushroom
Boletales

This bolete featured unusually large, bright yellow pores.
There are over 150 described bolete species in the Midwestern United States alone, so sometimes it's a challenge to narrow them down to an exact species ID. It's not an ash tree bolete. I found this one while doing field research in an old growth forest near the Meramec River near swamp white oak, pin oak, cottonwood, silver maple, green ash, persimmon, and hackberry trees. I'm not sure which tree it was associated with.
