Back in 2018 I drew fanart for @am-i-too-old-for-warriors-yet Good!Darktail AU and recently I've decided to redraw it and see how far I've come with my art.
this part of the starclanās chosen map is probably my favorite for several reasons and i havenāt stopped thinking about it
like. gorsepaw isnāt a major character, or even a minor one. these four shots are about the entirety of his existence in the books. but his death obviously wouldāve had a huge impact on both onestar and firestar, so it gets four parts and several seconds of the map dedicated to it! and the fact that weāre watching his kithood, his murder, his death, and his spirit life simultaneously just makes meā¦.itās so COOL
usually this level of attention and emotion in maps is reserved for big impactful deaths and close family, but thatās not the case this time and i appreciate it. also gorsepaw deserved better and iām emo about it
