Why yes, I did steal the lineart for the Evansprite from an unrelated piece of fanart I started months ago and still havent finished.
Don't have anything super complex in terms of lore for the crossover. Cherubs whole motif of being two opposing "siblings" sharing a body that fight each other before one dominates the other in maturity fit the Barbatorem deal perfectly. Honestly most of the thought process went into finding names that fit the 8-letter-word-starting-with-"cal" rule. Blake's cherub name would be Caladium (or "Adi"); a vibrant plant whose leaves are red "trapped" inside green fits the cherub color symbolism as applied to the Thorburns rather well, and the heart-shaped leaves fits with his sister's symbol well. Rose Jr would be Calyptra, after the plant hood that protects immature flowers. I felt that fit with her being the sheltered one who's supposed to keep them safe and secure, who didn't get any of the personality traits that would allow her to bloom.
Having shirt designs based from christian iconography seemed obvious for diabolists. The dove holding the twig obviously fits with Blake's symbolism, and Rose having the Luther Rose is in line both with her name and with her obvious Protestantism.

people always talk about evil clones like oooh a dark mirror oohh what if you saw what are cruel person you were/are capable of becoming. and well yes but what if you were the evil clone. what if you looked in the mirror and what you saw was so bright it blinded you. what if you had to know exactly how good you could have been.
something that is not true but that i imagined regardless while reading pact was blake starting the book fairly stocky and chubby and then progressively withering away into the skinny haggard blake that's in most fanart. like the inverse of the "character gaining weight to show they're recovering" thing. character losing weight to demonstrate they are starving to death physically and metaphysically in the canadian wilderness

@nicholasgrayson was really sweet to ask how I was enjoying Pact. I’m really really enjoying it; it’s so visually and mythologically rich! Slight spoiler/tip to the game: For the Kinesis cards, if you pay enough attention, your fusion stars can soar up to the LV2 Fusion. As an alternative, you can perform a LV1 Fusion after having performed another fusion if you've stacked enough suits and you use the first fusion attack during suit collection.
Happened to experience this on my own through coincidence. First time I did it, I used the LV2 fusion and the LV1 pin appeared immediately after. Now that I know it's process...I've been spamming it through different combinations.
