If I had a nickel for every time my favorite character from a YouTube series turned out to be nonbinary, I'd have 2 nickles. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?

I personally find it to be more effective to put my first layer of gesso on with my hands because then I'm less likely to have weird little patches of canvas showing through and it's so much quicker. My gesso doesn't dry as I'm putting on just one layer causing gross pilling, I feel like I get more even coverage, and it's such a weird sensory experience. I love putting on gesso with my hands, but that leaves the question...
