Proship/proshipper means pedophile. It has always meant pedophile. I’ve been here long enough to remember the emergence of this term. It was made specifically to replace the acronyms MAP and NOMAP because people started to catch on to the fact that they also meant pedophile. Whoever told you it was about freedom of expression or ship wars or whatever bullshit was lying to you. It’s specifically another pretty little term that’s just vague enough for pedophiles and other creepy people to rally under publicly. That’s it.

We are actually related, but may I ask on what grounds? I personally haven't seen any evidence of it, but if he's actively grooming kids I would like to see some pretty solid proof before I believe a random anon.

whoops pride month 2021 starts tomorrow so here's my hot takes (TM)

- the only people who are NOT queer are people who are cisgender AND heterosexual AND heteromantic (edit: AND monogamous. poly people belong at pride too!)

- this means that aspec (asexual and aromatic aligned identities) are, in fact, lgbt/queer

- bisexuals and pansexuals have literally no reason to fight and (saying this as a trans person) neither are transphobic

- gender has no rules, and not a single person on this planet is owed an explanation of your identity, pronouns, or gender presentation (feminine, masculine, androgynous, or anything else), trans or not.

- not being sexually attracted to trans people is NOT transphobic, but that does not mean it gives you immunity from being transphobic (ex: lesbians not being attracted to trans women / straight girls not being attracted to trans men is absolutely fine, but when things like "because they're not a 'real' woman/man" are said, THATS when it becomes transphobic.)

- other queer people are NOT the enemy

- people have the right to be uncomfortable by the word "queer", but the use of the word as a common label and positive thing is insanely important. also terfs are a major reason people consider it a slur

Since the incel community is getting a lot of headlines rn, I just wanna make a quick reminder that anyone who tries to console and pity them by attaching isolation and loneliness is full of shit since the incel community is vehemently against including gay men, who are statistically more likely to commit suicide due to isolation.  They even make memes and valorise suicide. They’re not here to save men from themselves just like how meninists never gave a shit about police violence against black men. It’s rationalised white male entitlement and violent misogyny masquerading as community
