me: edmund pevensie didn't ditch his siblings in the first movie for turkish delight, he did it because jadis was the first person he met who didn't ever compare to him in his siblings in a way that made him feel less about himself. she met him with open arms, and is one of the first people in his life who've done so. he trusted her because she offered him more happiness than he'd felt since his father was first drafted as they were close. and then when he realizes she lied to him and only wanted him around because he was human, he's totally crushed because she's yet another person who had used him to get to his siblings and he must've felt so disappointed and angry at himself because he just sold his family out to a witch he's just met.
unpopular opinion: edmund pevensie is a hufflepuff
(unpopular??) opinion: if netflix does make their own adaptations of the chronicles of narnia, they should not do the lww, pc, or votdt. making the horse and his boy and magicians nephew wouldn't bither me, and id like to see a series on susan after the last battle, maybe silver chair (but thats pushing it).
growing up with the three narnia movies with such great actors and actresses to portray the characters makes me fear the idea of them being completely replaced by the newer ones and new fans not knowing or caring about them
if they do horse and his nephew, id like to see the possibility of the pevensie cast coming back to portray the older versions of themselves as all of them clearly enjoyed making the movies and still gold such a close bond with the crew and other cast members. plus, this is the most underrated book in the series and golden age would be so cool to see
id like to see magicians nephew the most because i really want to people talk about polly more and how amazing she is, as well as digory because all we got of him was lww
silver chair can go two ways: i WANT TO SEE JILL COME TO LIFE, but the new castings for caspian and eustace can make or break the situation
the last battle would be fine depending on the cast ig
just please dont remake the three movies we have, because even though none of them were perfect, they're still so beautiful and irreplaceable
