This illustration takes place when john laurens was killed by a british troop or officer, so I set the scene into a field type feel.
The flowers symbolizes that maybe he have a hanahaki disease, since alexander married eliza schuyler. So his feelings are remained unrequited.
I didn't put any blood in his coat/ mouth for some purposes lol.
Then I finished the touch of him surrounding firefliesđ
