I hate PMDD because I want to be held, I want to be gently touched, and I want none of that, I'm angry, I'm angry and I'm lonely, and I'm frustrated because I have no reason to be angry or lonely, I just feel so deeply it hurts and it aches.
PMDD is like "I see you feel pain over rejection. Let's amplify that until you feel nothing but rejection even in the middle of an embrace."
Ideally for everyone but particularly for people with diagnosed menstrual conditions and disorders, we should have paid period leave.

Pre-menstrual depression is always depicted as like "He He! I had a box of icecream bars and cried while watching the Titanic!" But in reality, it's more like, "I'm standing the edge of an abyss. There is nothing good inside of me, I'm filled with rage and desperation."
It's crazy that being told how to deal with that is never a part of anyone's menstrual sex education.
my doctor says i could have pmdd and if that's the case I will probably have to stop taking estrogen, since prog didn't help and moclobemide didn't help. honestly feeling really scared

I love cats so much y be sad when cats my day is made better when cats like yes i love you my little meow meow. I would be cured of my PMDD and all my problems would vanish if i got a pet cat. I love dogs but they'll never fill me w/ joy the way cats do.
‘Happy’(?) PMDD awareness month, I was diagnosed with it last year and this acc information was crucial to me being able to understand myself, my condition and begin to learn how to cope with it. I recommend everyone browses on this account because being informed is so important and crucial.

Having pmdd really just turns me into a melancholic Victorian heroine once a month. I'm pale and faint. Indisposed and cannot leave bed. Fitful sleep plagued by dark dreams. Can only manage a few morsels of food. Prone to hysterics. I'm languishing.

I don't normally talk about my illnesses online but I have pmdd which prevents me from drawing sometimes and holy shit I have less then a week to do a banner for a cos contest and my pmdd cycle was supposed to end like days ago but hasn't and wanting to create but being unable to fucking sucks fr... though the contest is on the cos discord y'all should check it out!
