Princess Yue finds that she is a bit of a control freak outside of her kingdom. She's never had to deal with real world problems and had to solve them with compromise, so sometimes her temper flares. It doesn't help that she's married to/best friends with a firebender.
(She also gets wildly jealous of other girls and guys looking at her man ((other than Sokka)) )

AU where after Yue gives back her blessing to save the moon spirit, the ocean spirit blesses her in thanks, so Yue lives and is able to waterbend now
She continues where Katara left off and fights to institute feminism in the North Pole, later becoming its first female chief

Headcanon: Yue, being a part of the Moon Spirit, has always been able to enhance other's waterbending - but so slightly that only little kids who just started to waterbend noticed it.

New chapter on The Moon Told Me Of You!
In this chapter, Azula and Sokka rustle up a not-so-stealthy escape plan, while Yue strikes a match on the rescue plan and worries about Azula. Zuko gets an unpleasant surprise and is rather tied up.
This chapter is about 9k words and is actually the first half of a chapter that ended up being upwards of 18k, which I split up as an act of mercy and also I have to finish revising that one.
