My friend wanted to finally read a Rui x Male reader fanfiction, so I am here to deliver!
~Reader is sick and needs to be taken care of and comforted by his crush.

You hadn’t been to school or visited Wonderland Showtime in quite sometime, the group was getting worried so Tsukasa thought of the bright idea of sending Rui over to your place due to the fact you were not answering your phone.
Your phone was turned off on your nightstand, you were blankly staring at the ceiling; questioning how you got sick and what you did to have the misfortune of not being able to breathe the air you oh so missed breathing...and taste. Your ability to taste is gone and it has been killing you all week.
Your staring was cut off by your front door opening, “Did I forget to lock the door...?” you questioned yourself, out loud.
“Nope, you gave me a key. Did you forget already~?” A way too familiar, purple haired boy walked over to you, his signature smirk spread across his face.
“Oh...hey, Rui...How are you?” you rasped out. Laughing at you, he replied, “I’m wonderful, I see you have seen better days,”
A quiet, sloppy, sigh left your lips as you slowly sat up, looking over at him. He smiled to you, the smile that would make you swoon for him under any other circumstance. Yet you just had to be sick in bed, so the best thing your mind did was malfunction.
“I’m here to take care of you, I even brought RoboNene so her and I could attempt at cooking something for you,” dragging the unfortunate robot to your very unfortunate kitchen before you could decline his demand. You sighed again, stumbling out of your room to follow him, “Please do not...”
He smirked at you, snorting then laughing, “Please. Anyway, I hate the fact you have so many vegetables in your fridge...” slipping his hands into his pockets after closing your fridge, then pausing and reopening the fridge to check if something new, better, and more delicious appeared inside of it. But, alas, he was greeted with disappointment, dramatically sighing and checking your cabinet to heat up some canned soup for you.
“When did I ever give you a key to my house...?” “You let me make one,’ “What.” “Take the medicine and eat the soup,” He gently tossed your bowl of soup onto the table alongside lightly kicking your leg, ushering you to sit down and eat so he can force medicine down your throat.
Your heart somehow fluttered at this action, why does he somewhat suck at taking care of someone yet so perfect at it at the same time? Slowly sipping the soup while sniffling and glancing up at him, “so...” “Eat first then talk,” as he cleans up your kitchen a bit.
After you finished your meal, he gave you your medicine and took you back to your room lazily, “Rest, I’ll be working on new inventions for the show!” You blinked tiredly to him, “You’re....staying?” “Yep!” “Great...” yawning and bundling up in your blankets, turning away from him.
“Night, love you,” as you closed your eyes and immediately passed out. There was a loud, long silence in your room. Eventually, Rui stood up, pecked your cheek lightly and went back to work to his inventions; creating something to surprise you with for when you awoke.
