I've gotten some questions about why i draw scavs so big and weird.. Especially my big boy trail.
Main reason is because i've kind of developed the rainworld universe a bit different in my head from the canon. And in there scavs are actually ancients who were left behind and evolved to be more animalistic to adapt to the harsh environment. ( a lot of time has passed btw it wasn't quick, it was so long that they've forgotten their origin )
I still do draw scavs how they look in game sometimes, but when it comes to my oc's i draw them however i like.
And this guy well he's just built diff lmao. He's a freak.
Again don't take any of my rainworld art as canon material, i'm simply having fun with the worldbuilding.
Drew my slugcat Coal, referencing images of otters cuz that's how i imagine them realistically looking.

ANYWAYS, this was inspired by an older art piece of mine, where Sig creates a bunch of scugs to deal with the aftermath of the local group that just completely fell apart after Moon’s collapse and Pebbles disconnecting from pretty much everyone. This lil post here

I did a lot of experimenting on this piece, sorry if anything is off about it!! On my computer, it isn't as dark as I saw it was on my phone, but I think either are alright... I am open to any type of constructive criticism though, because I really want to get much better at the coloring and shading of things ^^

Based on a screenshot I took during my Rivulet run, I saw a rainbow at the top of Chimney Canopy and I was just like "yep this is what I'm doing for day 3" :3
