Many Mischievous Mice was made by a civilization of ancients living inside of a desert. Due to the fact that there was definitely no water around they decided to dig down into the earth and connect an iterator to the deep ground water inside of their giant cave they made. MMM couldn't see inside of her can, so the ancients made an overseer that's basically just her eyes...

Well, Glow of the Unforetold still acts like a normal overseer, yet it's far more flighty because it doesn't want to get hit and require repair. Or...ya know, break.

I suppose MMM would be the only iterator inside of this desert, and as such she would be extremely old and quite knowledgeable. There are some very tiny lizards living inside/around their can, and once in a blue moon there is a stray scug wandering about.

Nothing really survives in this desert/artificial cave. The only reason why the tiny lizards can survive is by eating the bugs that can be found infesting the can.

The city MMM once supported has withered and collapsed, and it is now being used as a fallen resort for scavengers, but there is actually something to be gained for MMM. The scavies have actually learned not to try and assault GotU, and in return MMM sometimes sends GotU with porls for the scrunkly little boys.
