Made a Rainbow Loom Bracelet Just Now
I got this swimmable mermaid tail last year, and I wanted to make some mermaid-y accessory to go with it. I was at a loss for a bit, but then I remembered that I also got a Rainbow Loom last year. Thus, I got it out, found a tutorial, and made a thematic bracelet.
The tail, purchased from Fin Fun Mermaid ("Atlantis" style, "Pacific Pearl" color/pattern):

I'm proud of how it turned out. I'm hoping it holds up while I swim, too, since rubber is generally waterproof. :)
Some pride swag for Pride Month
I made some more Rainbow Loom bracelets, this time using the hexafish design and following the color schemes of the aroace and nonbinary flags. This way, I can at least celebrate in my own way, even if I can't make it to my local pride parade. :)
The aroace one wound up being slightly loose on me, but I really don't care at this point. I messed up at the very end with it twice, so considering how long the hexafish design takes, I'm just happy that it's done.
I needed to stop by the craft store to get some stuff for a school project, and I had the idea to try to remake Pix E.'s missing pajamas (and hair clips). They're a little sloppy, but I did my best. ^^'
Pajama materials include solid magenta and teal fabrics, yellow and turquoise paint markers, pink glitter tulle, and iridescent white glitter glue. I painted the stripes onto the pants fabric and the fireflies onto the shirt fabric, stitched on the tulle trim, smeared glitter glue onto the pants fabric to give it that nice sparkle, and sewed the outfit pieces together. The shirt is held in place with Velcro, while the pants are just pants. They're loose and prone to falling down, but that shouldn't be an issue as long as Pix is sitting. As for the hair clips, they're just Rainbow Loom bands held in place by G-clips.
So yeah. My work isn't perfect, but I'm proud of myself for at least trying.
(Also, Mittens Fluff-n-Stuff may or may not be joining my collection depending on how well I do on an upcoming high-stakes test. 👀)

I made another bracelet. This one is just something nice. These two ranks on this bracelet are Marine Corps JROTC Private First Class ranks. I got to keep these since they ended up breaking/they had an abundance of them. The fatter one on the left was the og, and the shiny one on the right was the new one that replaced the fat one.
Man, I miss being in Highschool. I can’t believe I’m starting collage soon. I miss it.
