Im legit in a reading slump rn, and it's so annoying, like I really want to just read a book, but whenever I try to pick up a book and just go through it I'm just not into it and it seems like a chore and I end up just putting it down.

is it only me but I’ve been meaning to start six of crow for such a long time but just cant get past the first chapter which is about this guy called Joost who apparently doesn’t even appear anymore after the first chapter. Like I understand that the 1st chapter is supposed to kind of like give us the heads up or a started to the situation and vibe of the story, but I literally can’t read past the first chapter.

can anyone pls help me get out of a reading slump, cuz its boring and theres nothing to do and nothing to watch anymore and i cant enjoy reading like i used too.
