So I got the eyebrows right, the hair sort of right, and the beard and clothes totally wrong.

Also the eye shadow is somewhat less freaky looking in the show.

First off, the empress!

I've drawn her before, and I thought I did pretty well, until I saw what she actually looks like.

She's wonkier with accuracy than I thought she would be, (I think I may have given her Sephiran's turtleneck) but as far as recognizability, I think she's good.

And then there's Temenos:

I don't know whether I've ever seen this guy outside of your drawings, so the memory of them was pretty much my reference. I don't know where that little sprig on his head in my drawing came from, but it's not here:

He's way more colorful than I thought. I thought he had an all white robe like an FE healer.

I'm not sure where the blue came from, but in my defense, besides the covers, the illustrations are black and white.

I didn't do horribly, but he looks more cool and rugged in the real version. Mine looks like a kindly uncle with Sideshow Bob hair.

Rats! I should have followed my instincts! She DOES have green eyes! Well, she's not at all fluffy haired enough to be accurate, but I think you could still tell who she is if you stumbled across her.

While I was drawing him memories of what he looked like started coming back and I realized I'd messed up his hair quite a bit. XD

Um, oops. 😅 He doesn't even look like the same person. I think what I was going on were vague memories of some piece of fan art I've seen. Just goes to show how much I know about FE4.

Hmmm, well, Aella doesn't look much like the ref, but I think I got her general idea across. :) Ardyn looks like a simplistic version of himself, so I'm going to call that a win.
