Inktober 2019 #19: Harianas A coastal flower growing along the seasides of Wing Alayna, Fuline and Reline Ah and their islands. Though the hairs on the plant are commonly thought to be petals, they are closer to modified leaves. Not much is known in the way of use for the Harianas, but natives have dried them and used them as combs and scrub brushes.

Inktober 2019 #28: Mamoli Delikata The plant protects a small, pink flower within its leaves. Both Mamoli and Delikata make up a small family of similar plants that vary across continents. The standard Mamoli Delikata prefers the wet, misty climate of continental Reline Ah, but can be convinced to grow in northwestern coasts and grasslands in Wing Alayna. It has occasionally been spotted in the northeast as well, but most prefers to grow nearest its home continent. Mamoli Delikatas also make great houseplants, but are recommended kept somewhere a little cooler, as they will shrink to a more bulb-like state in warm weather, and close if not properly treated until it recedes completely into a dormant state within the soil.

Kopp'tura Rainheart
This bright pink flower is found on Reline Ah, the hidden continent of the Flower Buddys. The Kopp'tura Rainheart is a rare flower rumored to cure heartache in those who gaze upon it. Though scarce, its seeds are treasured and carefully sown where a lonely Flower Buddy might gaze on it and find relief.

Today's flower~ I wasn't sure I was gonna get it in today but here we are. Now without further ado.... Read on if you please!
Radiana Kandia
Native to Fuline and Reline Ah, the former being the continent of the Dancer Buddys. At certain times of the year they glow brightly yellow or orange--or sometimes both. When Kandias light up often marks the first day of the Dancer Buddy Festival on the continent. Unlike similar clear-petaled plants, the Kandia collects its energy from the stars in addition to the sun and moon. It gives off this energy in radiant displays at certain times.

Radiana Waterina
Rainwater gathers in its small, clear blossoms. The buds within their them glow faint blue at certain times of year. It is said to gather energy from the moon and stars and condense it into liquid form, storing it in the cup formed by its petals.
A close relative of the Radiana Kandia, it can be found on both continental Fuline Ah and Reline Ah, as well as their islands.

Elemin Dariana on Young Pura Pathvine
A creeping, flowering vine that can be found sparsely throughout JI. Though it has a preference for dry weather, it is a tenacious vine that can thrive in just about anything. That said, grass tends to out-compete it, so it's rarely found in the wild, much less without support. It is thought to have originated on a northern Fuline Ah island or perhaps a south Reline Ah one, but it is best known for its presence on the Reline Ah continent as a domestic vine. Despite its hardy nature, it takes careful pruning and care to thrive.
The Elemin Dariana is the namesake of one of the first Flower Buddys, Elderflower, and for that reason, Elemin Darias are often called Elderflowers in Reline Ah.
In their early phases, the flower buds have a nutty, almondy flavor. When they bloom, their flavor changes to more of a sweet, faint licorice taste. The stems have a much stronger licorice taste and texture, though since the flower is rather rare, tea and candy made from parts of the plant are rarely served outside of Reline Ah.
A fully mature Pura Pathvine has yet to be discovered. There is even some question as to whether or not they are Pathvines at all or simply a different kind of megaflora, or perhaps even a dwarf species of Pathvine. Still others say that Pura Pathvines are very special, and when fully grown, connect to a dimension that has never before been discovered. Some proponents of the dwarf theory agree that Pura Pathvines have a connection to other dimensions, but instead merely act as gateposts or landmarks, growing near the gate to one, or even acting as the gate itself. Which ever theory is correct, there is still much to be discovered about Pura Pathvines. Known specimens include one in Reline Ah, featured here, and two others, one found between Furheart Iiah, Reline Ah and Batulia Songlianne out at sea, and another between the south coast of Crescent Minoria and Warminia Songlianne. As more specimens are discovered, researchers expect to have a better grasp on the nature of these Pura Pathvines.

Higehige Plant
A houseplant domesticated in Reline Ah, the Higehige Plant was first discovered as a wild vine that grew along the ground. With a little care, it came to be cultivated indoors. As Reline Ah can be rather rainy, watering it is often as easy as setting the flowerpot outside for a bit. Due to the long dry seasons in northern Wing Alayna, it never quite took off there, and remains to be something enjoyed only by the resident Flower Buddys of Reline Ah.
