Tyland Lannister was my favourite part of the finale, but why tf did they decide to make Sharako Lohar into Racallio Ryndoon, when they could have just given us Racallio Ryndoon?

They've changed so much already and Abgail Thorne was great, as someone who had no idea who she was I think she nailed her performance.

But giving the physical description, the wives and the literal dialog from Fire and Blood about said wives to another character is so pointless.

Even with show Rhaenyra's new personality, it makes absolutely no sense for her character. Like I get that's how Condal plans to write her, but it still makes no sense with what we know about how Rhaenyra loves her children. Basically Condal doesn't even make sense in his batshit rhaenicent au fanfic.

Only a man could say something ridiculous like this.

Ryan Condal is so entrenched in the HotD framework of “two women torn apart by the evil men in their lives” that he doesn’t realize that he’s striped said women of everything that makes them human. Their anger, grief, love, ambition? Gone entirely or diluted for the sake of keeping them palatable because the only way a woman can garner sympathy, in Condals perspective, is if she plays the role of the perpetual victim.

God forbid two women hate each other after one spends a whole decade targeting the others children and playing a role in his death.

Apparently blood and cheese was all green propaganda that Alicent spread to make saint Rhaenyra look bad. It was all a misunderstanding, there was no choice between Jaehaerys and Maelor, it was all made up.

Alicent just invented the most evil lie she could muster up to villainize the amazing blacks. What was shown onscreen is the real representation of what transpired.

Jesus Christ Condal i get that you hate book! Alicent (and Alicent in general) for some reason but can you stop blaming that poor woman, who had to watch her grandchild get beheaded, and not say she was lying out of her ass? Is that so hard?

I genuinely can't fault many greens for deciding to stop watching because of this bs.

It's so embarrassing that a writer who is supposed to portray a civil war and keep both sides on equal ground pulls this type of shit. For me the next episode is coming out tomorrow and honestly I have no motivation to watch, absolutely no excitement.

I tried to deny it in the past, but now the writer's bias has become so blatant that my love for the show has taken a hit. Hotd truly is a high budget team black fanfic.

Am starting to think that the Alyssa scene was Ryan condal trying to correct what ever s1 of hotd fuck up in our society, like this one woman on Instagram was explaining how she was going on a rant to her husband about how mother/son incest = bad but uncle/niece = normal and then she stopped mid conversation to reconsider what the hell she was even saying, so i don't care about anything any other fan have to say against him he really said you’re all gonna learn one of the main moral out of this story whether you like it or not
